Everything was very good.

The location is just excellent with beautiful views over the snowy landscape and Mavrovo lake. Staff is very helpful and nice - a pleasure.

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel, rather 3 star (international rating). The room descriptions on booking.com are not accurate at all, but the room we stayed in was very comfortable anyway. Breakfast was a bit of a desaster: nothing there and staff trying to fill up the dishes and platters. Given that this is not a new hotel, one wonders why such a thing may happen... Cuisine not great, but ok.

It was too far from the ski center, and the streets were almost impossible to drive at for 2 days in a row.

The hotel is a nice low building not invasive of the landscape. It is isolated in a green and quite area with a wonderful view of the lake, but it's just 15 minutes driving from the main village of Mavrovo, on a curvy but panoramic road along the lake. The room was very comfortable and clean with a very good bed. Our room was above the outdoor dining area, so we could hear the voices of the people (I think a room above the pool would be better), but it had anyway a wonderful lake view. Very good wi-fi. The food (we had dinner and breakfast) was quite good and various and not so expensive (not so negative impression as in some other reviews). The outdoor pool was not available yet (24 of June), but the indoor pool was good (and has anyway a small part outside also). The staff at the reception and in the dining area was very nice. We appreciated that they allowed us an hour delayed check-out, so we could enjoy the pool a little bit longer.

The large garbage bins are visible from the outdoor dining area and, depending on the wind, the bad small could reach you while eating. It wouldn't be difficult to build a little shelter to hide them and close them. Also there was an unpleasant situation at the pool, when three people of the staff were talking with loud voice and even quarreling for a long time, disturbing the quite and the lovely environment. They should keep their issues in their office and not bringing them in front of the clients. This is a big lack of respect.

Das Essen und die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter war sehr gut.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und muesste teilweise renoviert werden. Der Innenpool ist aufgrund der Luft- und auch der Wassertemperaturen nicht nutzbar.

-Dieses Hotel verdient höchstens 2* - dreiviertel der Speisen von der Speisekarte waren nicht erhältlich, was für ein 5* Hotel erbärmlich ist - im Wellnesbereich musste man mit Winterkleidung gehen so kalt war es, Erholung braucht was anderes - die Temperatur im Zimmer war sehr kalt - helligkeit der Zimmer schrecklich

Es liegt idyllisch unweit des Sees, ziemlich einsam. Das Frühstück wurde nach Wunsch zubereitet, da zu wenig Gäste waren

Es ist bei Dunkelheit schlecht ausgeschildert. Fährt man einmal am Schild vorbei, umrundet man den See Richtung Mavrovo in die falsche Richtung und ist sehr lange unterwegs. Man fragt sich ständig: kommt hier noch was? Die Beschriebung/Fotos der Zimmer in Booking.com entsprechen nicht der Tatsache. Sämtliche Kategorien/Fotos sind durcheinandergewürfelt. Ich habe mir alle Zimmer zeigen lassen. Die Duplex- Zimmer über 2 Etagen sind modern, aber sehr eng, dunkel und nicht sehr neu mit modernem Mobiliar, die Standardzimmer sind wie die Duplex- Zimmer, jedoch ohne 2.Etage. In beiden Kategorien gibt es nur eine Dusche. Die Suite, die ich hatte, war nicht über 2 Etagen, sondern hatte nur das barocke Schlafzimmer, wo jedoch auch schon dies und das kaputt war und auch der Whirlpool war zu schmutzig, um ihn zu benutzen. Die Haare wurden zwar entfernt, aber ....:-( Die Lobby ist auch von weitem schön und modern, bei genauem Hinsehen, ist dies und das kaputt, Sofas zerrissen und Tische schmutzig. Man konnte sich an keinen wenden, da der Chef in Albanien war und nie da ist. Außerdem gab es keine Einweisung: wann Frühstück oder wo was wäre. Der Innenpool war in Renovierung. Der gsamte Poolbereich durfte nur barfuß betreten werden, was ich nicht konnte, da ich eine Fußverletzung habe. Die Anlage draußen war deshalb kaum besucht und sehr schön. Sie war jedoch durch Zaun vom Rest der Anlage getrennt und nur durch den Spa-Bereich zu betreten. Das Fitnessstudio sah ganz gut aus. Generell würde ich dem Hotel nur 3 Sterne vergeben. Es ist ein alter Sizialismusbau, der renoviert wurde. Wären die Mängel nicht, wäre es den Preis wert. Zum See (unten nichts gepflegt) führt ein langer steiler Treppenweg, der auch verwildert ist. Ich hatte mich wirklich auf dieses Hotel gefreut aber es hat sich nicht gelohnt. üBrigens gibt es immer freie Zimmer. Hier in booking.com wird wohl extra angegeben, dass immer nur noch 1 Zimmer zur Verfügung steht, aber das Hotel hatte vielleicht 20 Gäste.

Non e' possibile che un Hotel che dice di avere 5 stelle non sia in grado di aggiornare il sito per informare la clientela che la sua spa e' chiusa per ristrutturazione!!!! Io sono andato li' con la mia famiglia per la spa e sono stato truffato!!!!!

Un meraviglioso hotel posizionatato in un contesto naturale splendido, personale estremamente gentile e preparato, cibo assolutamente ottimo anche se un po' caro per gli standard locali, zona relax con piscina interna/esterna ed ottimo servizio.

Piccoli dettagli che non possono classificarlo come un hotel 5 stelle europeo, ad esempio la mancanza assoluta di cestini per I rifiuti.

Comfortabel hotel in mooie omgeving. Medewerkers doen erg hun best om probleempjes op te lossen.

Het hotel heeft achterstallig onderhoud. Het restaurant is erg wisselens van kwaliteit.

The hotel (despite not being true 5 * standard) is much better than others in Macedonia claiming to be 5* and all told is good value for money (if you don't eat in the restaurant). Lovely location.

The food is sadly not very good and hugely overpriced, perhaps the captive audience is part of the reason for this - you need to drive to the nearest decent restaurant and there is not much choice in the vicinity, especially in summer. The fact that the pool and spa does not open till 10am is annoying, especially if you have kids or like to have a swim before breakfast.

Very pleasent staff. Very clean. Food was very god and tasty.

I didn't like the fact that I booked my trip until sunday and because in the hotel was very cold I had to leave on night before and they still charge me for that night. The reason they give me was that because I booked my trip through booking.com they can not change anything and therfore I have to pay. Not very serious and profesional.

The service at SPA was not appropriate, I waited for 30 min until somebody showed up to supply with towels. The pool area was a little bit cold. The ski instructor forgot to show up at 10.00.

The jacuzzi in the bathroom was super, the area is beautiful, the view on the lake, the breakfast, the staff - all great.

Too bad the spa was closed and the water in the pools outside were too cold for my children (they love swimming but now they stayed out of the water).
