Risto`s Guest House is located in the village of Elshani in the Galichitsa National Park. It offers traditional food, panoramic views, various excursions, free Wi-Fi and free parking. Situated 900 metres above sea level, 10 km south of Ohrid and 1.5 km from the Ohrid Lake, you can enjoy panoramic views of the lake and the mountains from your balcony at Risto's Guest House. You can also take part in guided excursions to the National Park, donkey safaris and cooking classes. The hosts serve home-made wine, brandy, bread, traditional Macedonian food. However, this isn't fast food, so be sure to ask the owners about meal options as early as possible. The owners of Risto's Guest House speak English fluently. There are also a few stores in Elshani stocked with basic supplies. Camere: 9

Everything! Anita was absolutely charming and went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. Risto was equally kind and welcoming. The homemade juice during the day was very nice. Our dinners were so good and the wine was delicious. An excellent guesthouse- not far from Ohrid and would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone thinking of traveling in the area. Thanks very much Risto and Anita! We only stayed two days! Should have stayed longer!

Wonderful place to stay. Risto and Anita (great cook) are amazing hosts- very friendly & helpful and do everything to make your stay special. We had a room that looked over the lake (the village is 400 metres above the lake) - very beautiful! The rooms are quiet and the beds comfortable. There are several hiking trails within metres of the guesthouse. Nothing!

A beautiful setting in a small village, and and a wonderfully friendly place to stay. Our hosts, Anita and Risto, couldn't have been kinder or more welcoming. The rooms are comfortable, and each has a balcony with a view of Lake Ohrid - ideal for warm summer evenings. The food was excellent, making use of local produce. There was plenty of useful information about the area available in the guesthouse, and Risto and Anita were always willing to help with queries. An ideal base from which to explore a very beautiful area, and to learn a little more about Macedonia.

We've enjoyed getting to know the proprietors, Risto and Anita, and their extended family who all had a hand at making our stay comfortable and making us feel at home. The breakfasts and dinners were diverse, traditional and authentic; and, delicious. The people, their neighbors, were friendly and helpful. The location, nestled in the mountains with a view of Lake Ohrid, was spectacular; with the majestic mountain tops towering above us. We miss all of them already.

The owners are fantastic people, they make you feel part of their family. The best thing here, besides the great lake view, the countryside looks is definitely the cooking! The woman is cooking amazing! It's definitely the best value for money, a must go to place! Nothing, it was perfect!

Malowniczo położony pensjonat, piękny widok na jezioro i góry, wygodne pokoje, Anita i Risto to wspaniali gospodarze dobrze mówiący po angielsku i gotowi pomóc w każdej sytuacji, zawsze uśmiechnięci!!! U Anity i Risto czuliśmy się jak u życzliwej, bliskiej rodziny. Fantastyczna macedońska kuchnia!!! Kameralnie, spokojnie, dobry dojazd do Ohridu (bus co godzinę), wielka dbałość o czystość w pokojach, w tym codzienna wymiana ręczników. Jestem pewien, że tutaj jeszcze wrócimy.

Ich kann Ristos Guest House weiterempfehlen. Das Haus liegt auf dem Berg mit Ausblick ueber Ohrid See. Es ist sehr sauber und die Familie kuemmert sich herzlichst um die Gaeste. Die Frau von Risto kocht sehr lecker. Nicht alles Zimmer haben eigenes Bad und WC, man sollte nachfragen. Es gibt ueberall Internetzugang. In dem Haus sind sehr oft deutsche Gaeste, die auch fuer laengeren Aufenthalt gebucht haben. Man fuehlt sich sehr wohl bei Risto!

Una de las mejores cosas del Risto's Guest House es el staff: amables, cordiales y muy disponibles. El lugar es perfecto si se quiere estar lejos del mundanal ruido, y cerca de la naturaleza. Las habitaciones son muy limpias, la comida (el desayunoI abundante y bueno. En fin, un lugar ideal para pasar unos días inmersos en la tranquilidad y la naturaleza. Y con unos precios excepcionales.
