Villa Germanoff  

great location with a splendid view over the lake and within the very heart of the old town. walking distance to all restaurants and sightseeing places. Nicely furnished, spacy and clean. Excellent value for money.

Just the bathroom was with a lower ceiling than normal but this is not an issue given all other pluses.

The gentleman who met me was very polite, helped me to park my car and carried my luggage upstairs. I stayed in the Piano Room which is spacious, comfortable and has a brilliant view - and power shower! Ohrid is a charming place and Villa Germanoff is well situated in a quiet street near the centre.

They wanted to keep my passport for the duration of my stay (for registration). I like it with me, so in the end, gave them a colour, signed photocopy. Not a negative comment - just be prepared to be asked this question.

Beautiful, tranquil settting, perfect location with restaurants near-by, shopping within walking distance as well as historical sights. You can walk to everyting yet while at Germanoff you feel like you are miles away in an amazing dream. The Piano room is esquisite with its balcony and bistro set with umbrella. You an watch the sun come up and the mist on the mountains. It's Heavenly!

Very nice and good decorated room with a wonderful lake view.

The location is fantastic, in the old town, near St. Sophia church / Square. Pleasant, cosy atmosphere inside, a nice small balcony, with a great view on the lake. The rooms are clean and elegant, bed sheeds were changed every two days. We had basic facilities for preparing a coffee or a tea / simple breakfast.

The lack of ventilation in the bathroom, the lack of airconditioning in one of the rooms we rented.

We stayed in the double room which is half the price of the other room- however, we did peek in and see the sofa's next to the open doors onto the balcony overlooking the water, which looked lovely. The hotel is suited in the old town and was quite quiet in the evenings. The double room itself is quite small but has all the facilities you may need including a fridge. if you spend time relaxing in your room, the other option is probably better. If you don't mind a crowded lake side at this time of the year, Ohrid is beautiful. If you don't like the crowds, choose a time that's not peak season.

Five stars?. I would say two, may be three.

This hotel was well situated close to the lake and about 10 minutes walk from the the centre. The room was large with a extra seating area and good bathroom. Staff were very nice

It's rather an appartment not a hotel. Breakfast is not included because you must go for breakfast to restaurant in neighbourhood. But it is not a problem - it's only 20 m and good breafast you can have for ~3,5€ (not 5 as wriitten on hotel page)

Hotel is perfect. It is clean and comfortable. Hotel is in the heart of the old town. Excellent view to rhe lake. The "Saint Sofia" church is just a 50 meters away.

Good price, great location. Clean and big rooms, coffe and tea always ready and free.

Kein Frühstück - das hat uns aber keinesfalls gestört: am Wasser gibt es Lokale, auch ein Lebensmittelgeschäft mit frischen Brot ist in der Nähe.

Mooie kamer (pianno room) met prachtig uitzicht over het meer! Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar, Zoran, die er alles aan doet om het je naar je zin te maken!

το καθιστικό είναι ένας χώρος που έχουν πρόσβαση όλοι οι ένοικοι της villas ενώ στο site δείχνει σαν να είναι εντός του ενοικιαζομενου δωματίου.

Odada piyano vardı ve çok güzel göl manzaralı bir balkonu. Çok rahat ettik.

sadece bir pansiyon. hiç bir özelliği yok. ilk gün bir bayan odayı gösterdi. son gün parayı ödedik pasaportlarımızı geri aldık. arada kimseyi görmedik.

Villa Germanoff ligt in de oude stad Ohrid. Het interieur van het appartement is stijlvol. Het balcon heeft uitzicht op het meer van Ohrid.

Bij het appartement ontbrak bij 1 slaapkamer een airco.

Klima yetersiz ama golden gelen esinti klimayi aratmiyor. Kahvalti ise marketlerde satilan kruvasan ve poset neskafe yani bizim anladigimiz bir kahvalti degil.

Nel centro del paese è un grazioso affittacamere, ma di cui non capisco l'attribuzione 5 stelle. Cercate di avere le camere vista lago, quelle sulla strada sono rumorose.

Posto auto inesistente, si parcheggia nella minuscola via (nonostante la mail di conferma del posto auto prenotato). Bisogna tenere le finestre sigillate dato che a pochi metri ci sono due ristoranti che friggono di tutto. Le brioches calde al mattino sono una porzione confezionata, e scaduta, di paste. I 5 euro per la colazione sono presso un hotel vicino.

Don't think that it is a 5 star hotel. It is a house with 4 rooms which has 5 star sign on the entrance. We booked piano room for 3 people. This room has 1 large double bed and 2 couches which had no sheets on them. Hotel owner's mother seems responsible for booking but she do not speak even a world other than Macedonian. We called her sun. He promised to come in 15 minutes but he did not even come in 15 hours. Just few steps far to resturants and city square. Location and views from balcony are perfect.

Çok sevecen biri olan otel işletmecisi, bizi rahat ettirmek için elinden geleni yaptı. Otelin konumu ve büyük odalarının manzarası harika...

Arka odalarda kalmadık ama görünümleri sıkıcıydı.

Ночевали в номере люкс с фортепьяно. Отличный вид на озеро. Пара минут до берега. Привлекательная цена.

В отеле отсутстуют завтраки (но в номере есть чайник, чай, кофе и круассаны).
