Villa Boban  

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes familiäres Umfeld. Wir wurden sehr herzlich willkommen geheissen von Tina und Boban. Ebenfalls die Restaurant-tips die Boban uns gegeben hatte, waren super. Das Dachzimmer ist der Hammer!

Everything was good: friendly owners, good breakfast, they organize nice trips, they do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible even for bigfoots ;-) We lost our luggage and Boban arranged that we got it back the next day! We definitely want to go back!

Incredible place for relax. Good location, close to the city center. All the rooms are designed in classic style, made with very sophisticated taste. The hosts/staff were very kind.

It was little bit hard to find the villa. Missing signs around.

Clean and very comfortable rooms fully equipped with everything a person might need for a comfy stay. Friendly English speaking owners ready to assist you or help anytime. Close to city pedestrian area - 5 min. on foot. Excellent free Wi-Fi signal, free parking.... Great experience.

There are no bad things there.

The location is good (about 10 minutes walk to the centre) and quiet by night. A little map would have been appreciated to facilitate the arrival by car. Pretty house, parking possibilities, rooms look lovely at first glance.

A deception! Villa Boban has a lot of potential, but is now showing signs of a lack of maintenance and care. We found everything a bit makeshift spoiling the overall impression of the rooms. We were three and had booked two rooms: Upper duplex with an open-plan toilet in the bedroom, the sink sticking out of the wall, no bedside lamps, but one with a long cable attached to a cupboard from wherever, flood light during the night to lit up the front of the house, dangerous stairs without handrails, balcony not prepared for two guests, just one chair outside. Ground floor room was pleasant, but the bathroom tiny without any amenities (apart from hand soap) and there were mould stains in the shower. No heating, only airconditioning (heating/cooling). Breakfast - against payment - only as from 1 May 2013. There was an overall lack of "the loving touch", the comfort of the guests do not seem to be important. A pity! We paid for 2 nights, but left after 1!

Very friendly staff, very helpful ,welcoming and cheerful. The room was very clean,comfortable, well decorated, with brilliant lighting. excellent value for money choice.

Not in the town center, but 5 min walking you can be at the entry of the main pedestrian street.

The staff was wonderful. Helped us in whatever we asked. The room is very good. Very good value provider. The next time you go back Ohrid would prefer again. Thanks Boban & Tina.

Relative difficult to find and use the gps will help. . Of course you can ask and random people on the street who will surely help.

I‘m fascinated by owners who was welcoming, sincere, kind and helpfull. The location is good - 5 min. on foot to city center. A quiet and not irritating place - very nice to rest. The room was excellent – spacious, clean, artistic. I spend nice time there like at home of friends. I am sure I will come back again hopefully to Villa Boban!

With stuppid modern navigation system a little hard to find but with help of locals it easy.

I have chose the villa according to the past reviews.. And they were right! I really like the atmosphere of this villa: super clean, comfortable, unconventional and with all that you need. I had really good time. I recommeddd a lottt :)

Incredible friendly owner, excellent rooms: very clean, good design, and looks like it made for relatives. It was the best place in Macedonia where I stayed. And price was also super good. I planned to stay in Villa Boban for one night, but stayed for two. After all I think that it's good to come there even for 3-4 days if you want to have relax holidays.

It's too hard to find this location, if you have just address. It's better to know some tips how to find it on the place or good GPS map.

Great staff who sat down with us and gave us a coffee/map and pointed out what to do in Ohrid on arrival. Rooms have fantastic bed, very comfortable!

The Villa location is hard to find.

It's a small villa 10 minutes away from the lake. The style of the villa is completely different than the others in Ohrid. It's very modern , the rooms are very comfortable and well designed. We didn't meet Tina and Boban since they were out of Ohrid. We met their son Nicholas. He's so kind and very helpful. Thank you for everything Nicholas -:)

We had a wonderful time. It was our first stay at Ohrid and I am sure we will come back again hopefully to Villa Boban :D. The room was excellent it was quiet and we could really rest. The hosts are really charming and helpfull

The owner is very friendly and gives a lot of information about the town and what one should do or visit.

We had the luxury suite. No hair dryer,shampoo ect, the lamp light next to the bed had no plug to be put in and the bathroom had no door!!!!! It was a part of the room... We had booked two rooms but on arrival, the owner told us he had had to accomodate a good client of his at last notice and due to that our friends had to stay in the next door house, where the room was extremely basic without even an air condition(we went August). We were able to negotiate with him a cheaper price for that room, but these things should not happen. Finelly Villa Boban is much smaller than it looks on the pictures but it's very nicely decorated in and out.

fantastic hosts that speak excellent English and provide useful information

We had an excellent 10 days holiday at Villa Boban. Tina and Boban and their entire family are so friendly and nice that there are no words to describe it enough well. They gave us a lot of information about everything from nice restaurants to place where we could visit. They even organized us a nice winery tour. The room was nice and confortable and they look exactly the same as in the pictures here. We had superior double room, which was big enough for 10 days holiday. Everything in the house was taken care well and you could really see and feel it. The swimming pool was nice extra and the breakfast was excellent. We found the location good since it was in a nice and quiet area. In 15 minutes you could walk to the center. We will definately recommend Ohrid and Villa Boban to our friends and everybody. Tina and Boban really put their heart on it that every guest will feel welcomed to Villa Boban and Macedonia. And we really felt it! Thank you so much!

Boban and his family were Amazing!! Such a beautiful property so friendly and welcoming was sad to say goodbye hopefully we meet again!!

Very beautiful rooms. Everything was clean and well kept. Nothing was broken. Nice, flexible owners.

Villa Boban is quite far away. It's not a 5 minute walk from lake Ohrid and city center as the description says, but more 15-20 minutes. Also the bed in our room wasnt nearly as big as booking.com said. Sun blocking curtains would have been a big plus, but I know they're rare.

Warm welcome, we got great suggestions from the host forvisiting the town, outstanding breakfast, the swimming pool, the beautiful house, the quiet area

It is hard to find, shower was defect so that the water splashed the non-waterproof decorated bathroom-walls, the king-size bed makes the room very small and narrow

It was a friendly well run villa. We were made to feel at home straight away.Nothing was to much trouble.Excellent location and a great holiday experience.Boban and Tina made our stay so special. (He is so good looking as well).We would highly recomend this villa to anyone visiting Ochrid.
