Villa Veron  

This is a wonderful hotel, run by a family. This is a really clean design hotel with modern furniture. It is located right in the centre. The staff is very friendly and very flexible about check-in. What is more, the receptionist was like our tour-guide, becuase he explained to us everything about the city and recommended a tour of see-sights. The staff was very friendly and you can really see the whole family lives for this hotel.

Very helpful staff (Although they are the owner of the hotel two brothers are very kind to guests), Clean and comfortable rooms (The rooms are cleaned every day), Good location (By walking it is only 2 min to the Lake, 5 min to City Center), Cheapest rooms I`ve ever stayed!

Although there are plenty of places to have breakfast nearby, it would be nice to have breakfast at the hotel, otherwise everything was perfect!

Run by two brothers. Before we even left the checkin desk, they had mapped out the sites and places to eat in town. Very helpful.

There is a construction site next door, so if you want to sleep until late is not that easy.

Nice little hotel for the good low price. No private parking but actually you can park just outside it is a very safe area. No breakfast provided but it is an even better idea to eat in any of the good restaurant nearby, they serve excellent breakfast to your order at cheap price. Location is great, just 2 minutes walk to the lake. wifi works great.

First night we stayed in a big room the heating was not strong enough, the second night we changed to a smaller room then it was ok.

Family business of two brothers. They are very joyful, helpful and always in good mood. It's very close to the lake, the touristic part of it, only 5 minutes walking. And 10 minutes walk to the port & square, the terminus of Ohrid. At their recommendation, we ate very good at tino restaurant with a lake view, also 5 minutes from Veron. The Vila is very clean, confortable and has big rooms. We had the towels changed every day. Hot water and quiet during the noon sleep (at request).

The heating was with ac (in Nov-Dec) and at first we weren't very happy about this, but actually it was ok afterall. It was hot in the room and we could stop the ac over the night.

The hotel was great and very reasonable. They even upgraded room for us. The staff were fantastic. Recommended.

Katherin and young boy were very firendly people. Family pansion was very clean . Room was also very clean and bed was very good. Pansuon was not far to the center. Taxi prices very cheep. İf you want to go to bus station 100 mkd is okey.

The room did not looked like on the photos - we have got a very small room, without a table or a chair.

Breakfast is better to be served in the villa

We stayed at Villa Veron in a trip around the Western Balkans with our choice of hotels guided by Booking.com and similar sites so it's not surprising that they were all pretty good and what we expected. But in terms of value for money on the room front this was probably the top. Included a sofa, big bed, ensuite of course, balcony, plenty of storage space etc. New room, nicely decorated in contemporary colours and style. Our room was one up from the standard but the modest extra cost is well worth it. That said, the standard room I popped into looked fine. It's run by two brothers with similarly engaging personalities and who know the value of keeping their guests happy.

The hotel does not provide breakfast. I don't regard this as a problem - just a note to others for whom it might be important. You can just walk to lake/town and pick somewhere that suits you.

The hotel is well located and near of the lake. The personel were always helpful and very friendly. The price is very interesting for the quality of the service.

Just everything was perfect at Villa Veron. It is located nearby the lake and the center of Ohrid. The rooms are very clean and the beds are perfect. The 2 brothers (the owners) are very helpfull and give you any kind of information you need. Villa Veron is certainly the best !!

The hotel is new and clean. It can be considered an economic budget hotel with very good conditions. Villa Veron has good position located close to the lake with a lot of cafe and restaurant around. The staff is very comfortable and ready to help for everything. We liked very much and will recommend to the other friends.

The service was excellent. Rooms designed simple, but with maximum comfort. New bungalow. Family owned place. Owners are taking care of guests' request with lots of respect.

Very nice and guests' oriented brothers who run the Villa. They give very usefull informations about Ohrid, reccomend the places which should be visited. Their hospitality makes you feel like at home, not just like in an average hotel. Good for you and keep that attitude:) The Villa is very well situated, just few steps from the lake. Ohrid is a nice, old town where you can find a lot of restaurants and also some quiet places and narrow streets.

Great location! The owners were so polite and helpful. They recommended us great places to eat and things to do while in Ohrid. The hotel was super clean which we really appreciated. The beds were comfortable as well. We really enjoyed the stay at Villa Veron. Will definitely recommend it to our friends and whenever in Ohrid, will be staying there again.
