good staff service
wifi signal is not good
Numerous well-trained, hard working, good natured, extremely friendly, polite young staff. Light, bright, airy rooms with great views across the city Good, crisp white bed linen Good TV reception, well placed, large screen Straightforward safe, easy to operate in a sensible location (a surprisingly rare find Well planned wet room with copious hot water.
-First problem: They don't accept MASTERCARD as they said on booking.com, when i got there i was surprise because i couldn't pay with my credit card, so i went to the bank to pay the hotel in cash, when i came back i was shocked again with another bad news, they charge an extra tax if you pay in cash!!!! So the price that i booked was higher!!!!!!! - Second problem: I changed the room 3 times, because in any of the rooms the wifi worked! Everytime i used it, i went to the lobby. -Third problem: The rooms smells very bad, specially on the bathroom. - Fourth: the location is very bad too, the street is on of the worst in town I don't recommend this hotel.
Location, friendliness of staff, cleanliness,
Room smaller than expected, Clean and bright but bare.
The location of the hotel was good. Facilities was good too.
Excellent location & courteous staff. Clean subject to the housekeeping ensuring the pillow case is changed at least once in 2 days.
I had to walk up the stairs to my 8th floor room three times due to life maintenance after a tired day. housekeeping did not change the pillow case for 3 days and I had to inform her to change which she did.
There is constant noise from the airco of the Shangrela Hotel across the street. And the building site just opposite (at least 2 more years of building predicted). Location is central but take a room in the back of the hotel to have any chance of a good nights sleep.
Cleanliness and facilities in hotel are very good.Staff can speak English.
room prize (expensive)
Not a lot
Staff is very helpfull Room is clean Located on the downtown near to every where
Like other hotel in myanmar, the rate are not make sense. With the same price, on other country, you will get most better hotel Location of the hotel, even its located at strategic area, downtown of yangoon, the hotel itself were located on small and crowded street. I have no good view from hotels room and car parking are not independent. The hotel it self was not independent building also. It share place with local housing/apartment. Its more closed as hostel rather than 3 star hotel as listed on your hotel list
Location. Fair deal for the price in Yangon. Did not take breakfast, is not worth it the money.
wifi not stable, internet not working , but this is Myanmar!!!
Very central and felt very safe with huge lights from nearby building site flooding the street. Single room good size, clean, kettle, fridge and safe in room. Staff friendly and helpful though English a bit halting. Laundry service excellent! great place to stay to find your feet in Yangon
Single was $65 seemed steep but it is supply and demand in Myanmar.
Myanmar only recently opened borders for tourism. But i know, they are working hard on it, and will improve many issues.
The staff are extremely helpful and courteous. The rooms are small but extremely clean and comfortable. The location is a premium excellent value for money. I have already recommended this place
Poor bathroom design with no proper drainage so all of bathroom had to be continuously wet Electric shower head system for hot water No water trap for the room sewerage, so the room smelt bad continuously and we would not have been able to stay more than one night in this room (actually was in Clover City Centre Plus)
We booked this hotel as it was very close to the Shangri-La hotel which was the hotel chosen by our tour operator for the start of a river cruise which took us from Yangon to Mandalay. We travelled independently and arrived one day earlier than the start date of our Myanmar cruise holiday. Our flight from Doha arrived in the morning and we reported to the Clover City Centre Hotel just after 7 AM. The hotel staff found us a room on the 8th floor, we had to wait about 20 minutes whilst the room was readied. We then went up to the room to catch up on lost sleep - we had travelled overnight. The next day we were allowed a late checkout (1 PM) and the Hotel did not charge us any additional amount for the early check-in or for the late checkout - we only paid for one day's stay. Also, they provided us with 2 porters to carry our luggage around the corner from the Clover City Centre Hotel to the Shangri-La Hotel which enabled us to avoid taxi charges.
The Hotel breakfast was based upon an Eastern style menu which was not to our taste.
I like the cleanliness of the room. The staff are friendly too.
Don't stay on level one. It is no sit due to the noisy from the car park and the security chatting.
Friendly staff and hot water
WiFi very slow, water pressure low, and cannot control air con.
The elevator have to take few minutes for our turn. Room sound proofing was very bad.
All the staff were absolutely lovely, from the front desk to the maids. The room was quite large and the bed was clean and comfortable (although pillows were a bit firm). The shower was particularly spacious. Aircon was efficient and reasonably quiet. The hotel was clean.
I've never stayed in a hotel that was so "uneven". Some things were wonderful (staff, bed, shower) but other things were terrible! Breakfast was ordinary...you could enjoy it once, but not day after day (I stayed a week, and usually went to another hotel where the breakfast was better, even though I had to pay for it there). The walls were thin (better hope for quiet neighbours). The lift was solitary, so there was often a bit of a wait (but never too long a wait). There were no "facilities" to comment on ( no pool, no lobby, no restaurant and a very basic café). The price was four star, but the hotel 2-3 stars (in fairness, this seems to be fairly typical for Yangon). The room was spacious, but lacked furniture. The TV was at a ridiculous height, up near the roof! To sum up...the room was ok, and that's the most important thing, but don't expect to be impressed by anything beyond that.
The Clover City Center is a good location, has very friendly and helpful staff and good internet for Myanmar. The beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. We were moved to the City Centre Plus for part of our stay and would recommend the City Centre Plus over the City Centre definitely. The rooms are much more spacious and comfortable.
City Centre is fine in most ways, but the drains STINK. Also during part of our stay there was jack-hammering going on across the street from 08:30 AM to 08:30 PM which rattled the brain. It was horrible. Looks like that will be going on for a while. We were moved to City Centre Plus which really is worth the extra few dollars for more space and no unfortunate smell.
Friendly staff. Generally clean and decent for a budget hotel.
Wifi connection is poor. Power trip is regular during wee hour and room can be stuffy when aircon is shutdown.
all over good budget + hotel. would use again
Nice, clean, good location and very friendly staff. They Accept VISA as payment.
Only wifi connectivity was good.
At checkout, hand towel was throughly checked for stains it had. The management probably educated their staff to adopt such activities by which the can ask for more money.
