Bathroom needs updating Food and wine in the executive lounge was terrible
The bar was great with an in house pianist playing interesting songs. Good coffee, good sandwiches and mezze too. My room was great. Very confortable bed, bathtub and necessary for making a tea or a coffee. Wifi is one of the best of Yangon. Receptionists were very gentle and helpful. I would love to come again.
Comfort and ease of travel for our need. This hotel served us well in every aspect
Very safety with Double securities, the scan machine and Security guard. This hotel is situated in the central area.
The location is great ! The staff is so helpful !
You are constantly asked to show your key room to prove that you are staying there !!!! Very unpleasant !!
The comfortable rooms were a respite from tummy ails as were the thoughtful staff who recognised the difficulties sand responded thoughtfully yet unobtrusively. There was a smooth chatty wecloem through the simple but effective security to the hotel. Safety was clearly an issue.
The food and drinks were slightly over priced compared to the other establishments in the city. Otherwise no fault; just would live to visit again.
Bathroom was a little dirty, ie. the basin around the sink had stains from drink rings.
Generally everything was very good. Could be more better in few things, but that was really small things.
The usual Shangri La experience of reaxing comfort
location to bogyoke market comfy rooms great gym facilities customer representatives were very hospitable and very well versed in english
costly room rates but i guess you get what you paid for :)
Locations , resaturants and smiling and helpful staff
Room need refereshing however very clean
My suitcase was lost by the airline. The staff was very helpful and supported me to pick up my luggage from the airport. They provided me toiletries and clothes that I could fresh up. That was a big help. The hotel itself provided the usual good Shangri La service.
good location,friendly staff,fast check in.
way too expensive for an asian hotel, twice the price you might pay in KL Bangkok, Jakarta......on a par with Singapore price wise, but with none of the city attractions, service or cleanliness. Total rip off by the government, can only be to the detriment to the countrys prospects of becoming a tourist hotspot, which is a shame,as the Myanmar people are amongst the friendliest I ever met.
t v programm not enough
Location of the hotel and friendly staff.
The location of this hotel is so convenient. 10 mins walk to Sule Pagoda. The Yangon old town is just around the corner. A typical 4 star + hotel.
Attitude of some reception staff is not professional. I was "served" by a poker face lady when I checked-in.
Behaviour of Staff
staff very friendly and helpful. particularly one of the concierge whose name is Moo.
fresh fruit in room
Location Buffet Breakfast Staff
No pool renovations yes but put that on website Rooms were excellent but higher standard at other Shangra.
Friendliness of the staff
The view. Of the pagoda from the rooms is excellent and also the horizon club lounge.
Have stayed a few times, this the first since renovations finished. Location is great
Room felt damp, and as this is only the start of the monsoon, is a bit of a concern
A bit overpriced
Buffet meal in Cafe was first class, everything eaten was superb, staff also.
Very pricy! Probably less expensive hotels around.
