I liked the location and the breakfast. Furthermore it was quiet in the hotel and the room was really spacious. The knowledge of the English language of the staffwas really poor, except for 1 woman at the reception, but even she didn't know words like 'river' or 'tourist information'. And it was impossible to make international phone calls, although their brochure said different.

We had a very comfortable stay at the Kaiser. The staff were really friendly and helpful - very accommodating to all our needs. Breakfast was tasty and the rooms were very modern and clean with comfortable beds. Some showers had cold water and didn't fully drain but on the whole, they were still great and powerful.

I had a room on the 4th floor. The hotel was clean and for the price, in comparison to other UB hotels was not bad value for money. The bed was a double size as requested and reasonably comfortable (for a hotel bed in Asia). The room was reasonably warm and an extra duvet was provided. Requested a non-smoking room and it did not smell of smoke. Car park was available as stated, breakfast room looked neat although was not up early enough to take breakfast. The prices of the minibar and restaurant menu seemed OKalthough did not utilise this service. There is also a sauna but i did not use it so cannot comment. At least one reception staff spoke very good English. Free cabled high speed internet provided as advertised but wi-fi was not strong The location is not bad; UB is not as massive as people would have you think and is less than 10 minutes walk to Sukhbaatar square. Complimentary/emergency essentials were provided - toothbrush, shower gel/shampoo, comb. 2 bath robes provided with clean towels. In terms of comfort, it was comparable to an old 5* hotel in the main square that was 1.5 times the price, although not as stylish. Although the shower was hot, my first morning ended up in a half-shower as the water seemed to run out. Odd experience as most people will complain about pressure or temperature; this just stopped! My room on the top floor seemed to have the window not complete (the latch was missing). One would not have been able to use the balcony if one intended to as it seemed to have not been accessed since construction finished. This didn't bother me personally. A socket fitting was loose in my room and would have been dangerous if one had kids in the room There was a weak wi-fi signal available in certain corners of the room so needless to say that the wi-fi was not fantastic. Booking.com description stated work desk but my room did not have this.

Very good location. For the price you pay in the location it's in, it's fine. Only one member of staff speaks English and you can generally get things done. Airport pick-up was good and also I was flying back to Seoul at 6:40am, so the transfer back was fixed as well. And they even fixed a small foil-wrapped breakfast to take to the airport. But like I said, if you see the hotel as just somewhere to sleep near the city centre which is clean and at a good price then this is a good option.

It was so great that they allow us to check in so early without charging any more money. We were so tired when our train from Ulan Ude got Ulaanbaatar, so it was such a relieve!! - nobody at reception had an acceptable english level, so it was almost impossible to communicate with them, although I have to admit that they were so nice. - the carpet at the room doesn't seem very clean. - it says at the hotel info that it has a sauna among its facilities, but it doesn't.

The only good thing was the positioning, near Peace Avenue, the largest Avenue in the town. The first thing is that the hotel did not provide the basic services expected of by a 3 star hotel. In addition, the Wi Fi does not work, and the breakfast is very poor. Staff have little or no understanding of english, which made communication near impossible. The cleanliness of the hotel is the biggest problem. The sheets are old and dirty. They do not clean the room for the whole duration of your stay The hotel is not value for money, and does not adhere to the basic standards of a hotel. So if you could pay a little more, choose an alternative hotel.

Good location Good choice for the breakfast Smiling staff We payed for laundry one morning, warning that it had to be done quick because we had to leave the next morning. But it appeared the laundry was made late in the night, so everything was wet when we left. By the way, this service is overcharged in this hotel compared to others. The bed had no sheets in our room and we realised it at 23h30 so we had to make it ourselves. We booked a room for the second stay one week ahead, but when we arrived, they forgot us so they cold only give us another room, smaller and with separated beds. And finally, they tried to charge 15$ more than we agreed the day before.

The access by road from the main avenue becomes easily waterlogged owing to the poor/non-existent street drainage, making access on foot quite difficult and treacherous at night.

Large clean rooms and hot running water. Drop off service to the airport (at a cost, but at least convenient). Location was very poor to where I needed to be during the day, and just in general to the main areas of the city. At night it can be quite scary coming back as its tucked away in the back streets with no street lighting at all. Although advertised, wifi did not work the entire 3 days I was there. Staff care factor was non existent in regards to this. Moderately expensive.

The location was ok for accessing the centre of UlaanBaatur. There is nothing else good to say about this hotel. I paid £50 per night (for a twin room). There was no hot water for 4 days, no water at all for 1 day; wifi access was very poor; the main room light was inadequate; there was only one spare socket (so you could use the table lamp or the kettle but not both at the sane time); the curtains didn't close properly in front of a window with.a flashing neon light outside all night, the room was only cleaned once (so no bins emptied or toilet paper replaced); and the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful ( in contrast to other Mongolians we met who were charming). In the circumstances the very least I expected was not to have to pay for our mini-bar items (we consumed one set of beers, soft drinks and snacks, not the spirits) but we were still charged for these. The hotel offers hostel facilities for 3 star prices and I would certainly never stay there again.

Vicino al centro. Staff gentile.
