staff was friendly
bright rooms, curtains allow daylight to come through. no fly nets on window. neighbours (from all sides) can be heard clearly. if you are used to 100% western style hotel, then chose a western style hotel. puma tries its best though.
UB is an expensive city, hotel wise. Puma Imperial Gives you a slightly cheaper option ($180 per night is what I paid) in probably the best location. Within a 3-20 minute walk is the city's main square, Parliament, museums, the theater, and lots of restaurants.
Service was slow in the coffee lounge. Rooms are dated but clean and huge.
Placed in a center of the city
Wifi is very weak
The staff were very cooperative and responsive to my needs. Don't know if this is the typical attitude of Mongolians, but I found it very comforting that the staff were very willing to offer assistance.
Very good location and very friendly staff. Excellent WiFi coverage and a lot of TV programs. Very convenient price.
Missed safe deposit in the room, there is one in the reception.
loud music almost every day
I really enjoyed my stays at the hotel. The standard room was very comfy and the breakfast was quite good, too. Compared to other hotels, they're more expensive and yet not that super great for the money you spend on. But Puma is relatively cheap compared to others.
No shower curtain, hehe (that's no big deal, but just in case the staff might be reading this.)
Staff especially the front desk were very helpful. For example they went with me to find an ATM, drove me to the opera and arranged airport transportation. The breakfast had great variety and in general service was above its 3 star rating.
