Manager was polite and helpful when handling our problem, location is great, especially to see taipa village, was not too expensive.
Room was old and not very clean (bath plug didn't work, wall paper was dirty, some sockets had burn marks), we had people use a different key and get into our room by mistake twice in the night (manager moved us to a new room), other hotel guests were noisy and rude, check-in receptionist had very poor english. The goal of this hotel seems to cater for large groups of chinese tourist one night at a time, reception was always packed with groups checking in and out without enough staff to accomodate.
Location and that the staff tried their best to acceede to our requests.
Pool & gym was under reno. We were at first given an old room. Bed was hard, carpet was stained and dirty and the whole room felt like a cheap sex motel. Paid HKD300 more per night and changed to level 3 where the rooms were newly renovated and had nice clean bathrooms.
Close proximity to Taipa Village. Nice safe area to walk around at night. Walking distance to Galaxy and Venetian hotels. (1 km)

Easy to get on busses from this location. The rooms were good design and lots of good amenities.
The lobby smelled of mold and the rooms needed to be aired out. The free shuttle to/from airport/ferry was inconvenient.
The floor that I stayed seemed to be renovated. It was clean and quiet and nice.
Overall service was very very disappointing. We were ignored at the front desk when we asked questions. And I couldn't sleep well because just outside of my room there was a construction going on and people were hammering something since dawn. The service was very disappointing. I booked the room including breakfast. I could have understood if they let me know in the beginning that it was not a buffet so that we would have to take a seat and they would serve us. When we entered they treated us like children running around in the restaurant, making sure we were all sat down and not moving. And once when we were late for the breakfast we asked IF it was possible. A chef came out from the kitchen and was talking to us like we didn't know how to read time. It was very disappointing. Oh and there is wifi only on 3rd floor and the lobby which is very inconvenient.

bed was to hard pillows were too thin since it's an american chain, i expected they could understand a bit of english. they couldnt understand at all!
The staff were rude and incompetent, for example they would not give us change until we begged them, and it took around 5 minutes to explain to them what a swimming pool was. The rooms spelt of paint to a level that made me feel sick and the beds were seemingly made of rock they were so hard. The shower was so small my friends who is only 6"1 had to crouch down to get in the shower . When I tried to get hold of the manager to complain he was nowhere to be seen and until pushed the staff would not tell me how to get hold of him, we asked to see him at a set time in the evening but he never turned up and when we finally found him the next day he just apologised but offered no solutions and appeared as if he really did not care.

Hotel remodeling; construction smell in room, no restaurant, pay for in room WI-FI while free in very small lobby, no cups for hot beverage...glasses only; front desk poorly trained and caused more confusion than helpful. Worst hotel you have ever recommended. Best Western should review their management contract with this facility
Mould in the room. Bad smell. Not cleaned. The pool, fitness and restaurant was closed for renovation, and we got no info regarding this when we booked the room. Bad service in general. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will never stay there again.
Please remove this hotel from your app as this hotel is spoiling your image. I did not expect such a lousy scene . even though it is so expensive they never bother to give a good and comfortable bed and good pillow. It's a low class hotel. Hope you understand the my worst experience here and I expect a good compensation for having gone thru this trauma.
The location is near to airport and easy access for public transport. Check out was fast eventhough there's a lot of customers trying to check out.

It is absolutely impossible to get a taxi from this hotel Website advertised a swimming pool when there is not one
It is close to Taipa old village
It is difficult to get to the Cotai Strip, taxis are impossible to flag down on a Saturday so you basically have to walk. Also, there is no direct shuttle bus to the Macau ferry terminal. You have to go via the Emperor Grand in downtown Macau and the staff there could not be more unhelpful when you are trying to find out where to transfer to the ferry terminal bus. If you are there to attend an event in the Cotai Strip, spend the extra money and get a hotel there or get a late ferry from Taipa terminal back to HK.
The staff needs more customer centric approach. Also, their English was poor. Their understanding and sensitivity to customer needs is very low. Also, basics like room service, 24hr kitchen etc is missing.

i didnt like anything.
So many things. the bed was hard and uncomfortable. the aircon unstable. renovations at 8am that we were not informed of. no restaurant or swimming pool because of those renovations. swiped my credit card at check in and didnt inform me that room rate would be 100 higher for hk credit card especially after renovations. customer service very low. lobby smelt really heavy of cigarette smoke.
The hotel is in nice environment. Close to the casinos but also more smaller restaurants. It is easy to go the other island.
The english of the staff -reception desk! - was very poor. The hotel did not serve breakfast. The none smoking rooms had been 'smoked' but no effort was made to clean the room. The garbage of the previous guest was still next to the bed.
