There were many eateries nearby and within walking distance to the City central. The Hotel decor was plush and the room offered a comfortable stay. Communication between staff of Ponte membership club and the hotel front desk staff was found wanting. I wanted to redeem an additional night stay at the hotel with my membership points but the hotel's reception staff were either not helpful or had no knowledge of the procedures. On the contrary, the membership counter staff were extremely helpful and patient. In the end, they helped resolve our problem. |

We were interested in seeing the historic landmarks of Macau, and this magnificent hotel was situated within comfortable walking distance of the 'old area'. All the staff from reception, ferry terminal, restaurant and bars were efficient, friendly and very helpful. |

I loved everything about the Sofitel Macau. The staff were exceptional. The decor and furnishings were very luxurious. The rooms were fantastic as was the pool. The buffet was just wonderful. Absolutely nothing. It exceeded my expectations. I would definitely go there again. |

We had a nice room with a view to the river. Ony one restaurant in this big hotel, and that was the same restaurant as the breakfast room.Everything in the room was very tecnical and too complicated to opreate. Like the curtains, the shower, the TV , the lights etc. Everything had a remote control, some of which were not working. |

I found the staff courteous and helpful, and the location was good for access to the old part of the city The sound insulation between the rooms is poor and we had to request another room because of noisy children next door |

Very attentive staff, happy to help with all aspects of stay... Room very tidy. Casino had a bit of a sleazy, grubby vibe... But then all the Macau casinos had that vibe. But did not pick hotel for the casino.... |

The check-in staff were extremely friendly and the room was extremely well kept. The room is definitely value for money. The hotel needs to expand its cocktail options and maybe get a dj/live music next to the swimming pool to create some atmosphere. |

One of the best hotels i've stayed at. Excellent service and very grand - even the standard room was amazing. The hotel personalises your stay with the staff recognising you and adressing you by your name - a great stay and highly recommended! |

Bed and pillows very luxurious. The pool and spas were empty, the staff said it was too cold to swim. I would have liked to been notified, as we chose this hotel because of the pool. Also the piped music in the corridors and outtdoor areas was too loud and played 24 hrs, keeping us awake. |
