The good central location and comfort and cleanliness of the room. Nice view, good and free wi-fi. The relaxation area in the lobby could be made more inviting, I think. It just looks like a lot of seats with a TV and the (very good!) bakery is outside the area and a proper bar might make the place look more of a place to relax than somewhere to just sit for a few minutes. |

The hotel has big rooms. The service has international standers. The workers were very professional. The location is very good (in the center). Very good choice to stay (quality/price). |

The hotel is very well positioned for all the historic sites in Macau and the rooms have excellent views out across the city. Quiet and very efficient air conditioning. The staff are very helpful and the buffet breakfast excellent. Transport was provided from the ferry and back to the terminal on departure. Our room smelled musty (Rm 1513). Clearly there had been a spill on the carpet and it had been cleaned but still smelled of a combination of cleaner and spillage. We should have requested a room change when we first went in (which I am sure the hotel would have given us because we found them so obliging) but we put up with it as we were only there one night. Beds were very firm. |

It near to the centeral of Macau City, easily to go all nearby big Casino. Going out in convenient from hotel shuttle bus service, but back to hotel shuttle bus service only from ferry one location & last bus is around 10pm, i think other hotel give better service for the free transportation. |

Super value for money. The hotel is very clean and comfortable to stay in. Unlike those casino resorts, Royal Hotel is a conventional type of hotel but after renovation it's brand new and spacious. Everything just fits. No exaggerated or excessive decoration or unnecessary hype. Will surely get back. |

Location is nice for the historic part of Macau, and away from the casinos. Great value for money We arrived at 11am, but room was not ready until 4pm. Check in was at 3 officially, but they were late for even that. Inexcuseable. |

Concierge service is good, especially Mr Wu taking the extra effort to comfort the guests. House keeping is very efficient and helpful. we were locked in/out of the room, House keeping staff was very efficient to get us out/in the room and later changed the door lock. Good job! The front desk staff that attended to us was inefficient. Shuttle bus drove off without picking up guests. On the last day of stay, lock in the room was mal-function. Hence, couldn't get out/in the room for/after breakfast. |

The size and decor / interior design of the room were well appointed. Toiletries by Aigner were a nice luxurious touch. It is not nice to make guests wait when there are sufficient counter staff to attend to them simultaneously |

That there's no casino (only jackpot room) hence it's not as rowdy. The staff are really friendly and helpful. And there's a 7-11 nearby for some late night snacks if you are hungry. Not a lot of eateries nearby. The shuttle offer will be good if it can be extend till later. |

The check-in counter staff arranged us a room away from the noise of the ongoing renovation, very thoughtful of him. Also showed us how to get around Macau on the FOC hotel coaches. |

The room was really clean and spacious, the bed really soft and all the amenities available...great choice! Breakfast is great. Internet available in the room...wireless at the 16th floor the free shuttle bus to the main casinos it runs until 9.05 pm...a bit too early. The hotel is not located exactly in the central area, the closest casino is the Grand Lisboa, about 5 min walk |

The price and offer of a late check out as booked a premier room. Also, free drinks in the lobby lounge on account of our premier room status, made for a good, reasonably priced trip. Check in and out is always so slow at this hotel. The breakfast was good, apart from scrambled eggs were dry. The scrambled eggs were fantastic when I have stayed here before. Minor stuff, I know, but the fact that's all I can come up with tells you it's a pretty good hotel. |

The staff welcome and the quality of the room Noisy guests who insisted on keeping their doors open until late at night and shouting to each other. There was a little noise from the resoration work going on, but it didn't last too late or start too early. |
