San Antonio Hotel & Spa  

Booked a double room with sea view ,recived a twin room with pool view, asked to move room ,was given a discount for the first night,then moved rooms to a twin with a sea view.tried to exsplane that I would like a double with sea view as I had booked but was told that there was no rooms avalible. When taking bookings in advance ,if you can not conferm the room booking ,you should say in your return email,not just confirm the booking, then just offer a room discount, I would have liked to pay the full price for the room I booked ,not got a cheaper room with a discount.

Good value for the price.

The hotel is very big, therefore can't necessarily cater to individual needs. We didn't realize when booking that the location is in the middle of beach-scene kitsch, however, it's a quick drive to more beautiful, remote and interesting areas. We would recommend the hotel only to those seeking a location close to kid-friendly activities, and night-life, similar to any beach resort.

The outdoor area was very clean and pleasant to sit out and sunbathe, the pool was gorgeous. The breakfast was very good. The location for us was perfect and we were within walking distance to everything.

The reception staff were not at all welcoming or helpful, we had a problem with our air conditioning and wanted to change rooms they were very unhelpful sent an engineer who said it was fine but I was 28 weeks pregnant and there was no way I could have slept in there, eventually I spoke to a different staff member who was the only one who seemed to care, she showed us a different room where the air conditioning was much better and we moved. Was disappointed it took so long though as we were only there for 2 days and it took a couple of hours away from our holiday when it could have been sorted first time we asked and the air con was much cooler so there obviously was a problem in the first room!!!!!!

Good location , nice pool area very good breakfast.

Staff were attentive on our arrival, hotel in great position, close to buses and shops, but not noisy in evenings, close to sea front. Breakfast was plentiful and hot. Room was clean and not shabby. Wouldnt hesitate to stay again

Internet connection was erratic and often disconnected, but was good value for money at 5 Euros for 600 minutes - but if more than one has internet device, then beware - voucher can only be used on one mobile/laptop

Clean and well maintained, very friendly, cheerful and helpful staff, spacious communal rooms and relatively quiet, especially late evening. Food was good - about par for a large hotel - similar to many others in Europe, with wide choice and varied menus. Location excellent within about 250 m of the bus station which is crucial to cheap island transport and within 350 m of the seafront. The gym facilities are impressive and the outdoor pool area is very pleasant.

Although always courteous, there are people on virtually every street corner trying to sell this hotel and perhaps others as a time share/holiday club. The means of selling this and the ways of getting you involved were not good. Lies, lack of literature and details of upfront costs were unimpressive. This is surprising as most other features of the hotel were very positive. Hire of tea/coffee making facilities was too expensive.

To start, I always have a sharp eye on the breakfast. The Breakfast- menu was nice. Specially I liked the plentiness of vegetables, when added to the variety of "usual" breakfast. The situation of the hotel is very nice, near the beach-promenade and the Square, "central-point" of happenings in Bugibba.. The staff et personal of the hotel is mostly very helpful. Only at arrival I didn't get what had been agreed at once but finally it went ok... The swimming-pool (inside) had been upgraded as the gymnastics also, from my last yers visit Summa summarum a very pleasant and price-worthy 4-star hotel. Can recommend !

Not very pleased with the attitude on arrival at reception. I had specially asked for a certain room where my family and I had previously stayed. I had been let to understand that it's okay, but it was'nt ! I got it yet after two days..

The indoor pool was cold and the hot Chocholate in the bar was not good at all

The room was very clean n also the facilities were excellent! Would definitely come back! B'fast has a wide choice of food also.

1 thing i did miss is the grilled food that used to b on d b'fast buffet however no big deal really. D only issue we had was the water as it was coming out quite slow. But all in all, It was amazing! Keep it up!
