Location is very conveniable (a short walk's distance from St Julian's, and along many bus routes, thus various sights can be accessed directly, without transfer). Rooms are cleaned every day. 24 hour reception, staff is friendly and helpful. The location is a great disadvantage at the same time, but this is true for all hotels located on Tower street. Very noisy, from dawn till late night. Traffic on Tower street is heavy (due to the many buses as well), and up in the room it feels as if one were trying to get some sleep right in the middle of the street. Plus insulation in C. hotel is not that good, so noises made by other guests are disturbing as well (for some misterious reason many people prefer to close their doors by slamming them - hardly - which results in very-very-very loud moments, especially in the morning / evening). If you don't mind the loud noise, these shouldn't be a problem, otherwise you might not be able to get sufficient sleep for days. Also, it might be relevant for couples that if you request a double bed in C. hotel, you will actually get two single beds pushed next to each other and covered with a single sheet (looks like a double bed, but it doesn't feel like one: the two mattresses form an uncomfortable crease in the middle of the bed).

Location excellent! Room and the view with balcony excellent. Good sound proofing double glazing. Staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast room had fabulous view but dead flowers on table did not impress. Should be fresh if at all! Bacon very greasy. Staff pleasant though. Lift was very small although we managed ok! We knew this though before we went!

The hotel was well located near the bus stop (Antik); frequent buses ran into Valetta (12, 13) and a half-hourly service (x2) to the airport. The hotel was opposite the promenade and near to other bars, hotels and restaurants. It was far enough away from the local nightspot of Paceville to offer a quiet night if required. My room had an excellent sea view. The facilities in the room were minimal. There was no means of making a drink and there was no fridge. The air conditioning did not appear to respond to any temperature adjustment, it was on or off. The hotel provided only clean towels and two pieces of soap. The hotel offered only a modest buffet breakfast and 24hr vending machines in reception. The directions to the hotel were poor. Following them resulted in unnecessary changes of bus and a long walk along hilly streets.

Really good location for local buses and restaurants, and great view of the harbour. The hotel itself was clean and convenient. Street/reveller's noise made sleeping a bit hard, and the two tatty towels were rather inadequate. For 2 people with luggage it was also rather cramped - why do hotels have 2 beds and only one comfy chair and palce for a suitcase??

Good location, friendly personal, great view from the window (we lived on the 4th floor and booked sea view room) There is only one towel per person, there isn't shampoo. Breakfast is poor, but cost only 5 euro.

Great staff! The whole team were really friendly and willing to help with everything and anything:) There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, so getting around the island couldn't be easier. And (unlike most hotels in Malta) the advertised free wifi was really free:):):) The bed wasn't too comfortable and there was no hot water on the last night:(

Convenient location. Easy to navigate around. Bus from airport stops outside. Reasonably quiet even for sea/road facing room. Close walking distance to Paceville and St Julians and is easy to find. We went in March so out of season and cost per room was brilliant. Great value for money. Would stay again but well worth asking for seaview room as the view is great. Reception staff very friendly.

A nice hotel with excellent location. Nice views overlooking the bay. Staff helpful, and only about 10 minutes walk to both the ferries and st julians. Well worth the price paid. I find it strange that a hotel with that standard does not offer schampoo in the bathroom.

Upon arrival, the receptionist offered me an upgrade to a room with sea view at no extra charge. Very nice of him indeed. He also helped me with a power plug adapter, as I was stupid enough to forget mine at home (Malta uses the British 1363 Type g socket). I had to leave a 10 euro deposit for the TV remote, which I found a little odd - but I guess they opted out for this precautionary measure after quite a few experiences with tourists taking them home as souvenirs. As I use to wake up late, can't say anything about the breakfast - but there are lots of restaurants & pubs nearby where one can have a good meal for reasonable prices. The hotel is well placed, close to both St. Julian and the ferry port. The bus station is right across the street, thus very convenient for those taking the X2 bus to/from the airport. Although the furniture looks a bit old, room was clean and balcony is a plus. Good wifi connection.

The view was the best feature. Hotel staff were friendly. The lift was very small, just enough room for two people with little luggage. The bed was uncomfortable and of poor build quality and the shower very small even though the bathroom was of a fair size.

Easy to find, buss stop (from where you can travel all around Malta) just outside the hotel. Really nice and friendly staff, they had all the answers we needed. Excellent breakfast for all-day-long travelers! A bit noisy when people from the same floor leave / return to their rooms.
