Perfect location, close to the city center but in a very quiet area. Charming little ho(s)tel, beautifully decorated rooms and candlelit staircase in the evenings created a lovely atmosphere and it was always nice to come back "home" after a day out. Sunny, peaceful breakfasts on the roof terrace were a perfect way to begin the day.

We were very, very happy with our stay in Casa Cornelia, but air conditioning and bathroom in the room would have made it perfect.

Location was great, in a side street, easy walking distance (uphill) from old town Valletta. Breakfast was lovely and the personal touch was great. Small, quiet, clean, comfortable, contained establishment. Good value for money! At the airport Malta Transfers and electric taxis know where to find this hidden gem. Fabulous stay!

Water pressure of warm water in bathroom with the bath needs attention.

Good location and nice restaurants near by especially Omertà . Studio spacious and own bathroom. Sebastian a real gem, extremely helpful and excellent at giving advice re sights and things to do, had it not been for him would have checked out when discovered fleas in studio ! excellent though out.

Studio Anna had a flea infestation during our stay. When we arrived greeted by Gijs and his dog Micky. Give us a complementary bottle of red wine .Advised us TV too complicated to work so collection of Planet Earth DVDs, also washing machine instructions in Spain so couldn't advise us how to use. No air conditioning could be a problem in summer months. Not keen clear glass door to bathroom not much privacy. Sadly discovered fleas in studio on second day. Sebastian was very upset, cleaned room that day, informed Gijas of issue and sought guidance re treatment for fleas. We had to request a meeting with Gijs, this happened 3days later, only had another 2nights of hol left. He advised us we needed to learn to co exist, fleas common in Malta and should go to Asia as worse there. Promised full refund, his suggestion but he did not keep his word, refused to give cash or written confirmation of his promise! Since returning on the 28th May said non refundable booking ! Said we should enjoy his apartment, his wine and his fleas! Attitude very patronising and arrogant, not a pleasant experience.

Especially liked the eggs for breakfast prepared by Sebastian (who was friendly, helpful and charming).

Wi-fi was not easily available but I suspect that was due to stone walls. I was on holiday so perhaps this was a good thing anyway!

This was a really friendly and unusual bed-and-breakfast in a quiet area of Valletta just round the corner from some excellent restaurants and away from the most touristy streets, yet in easy walking distance to all the delights of Valletta. Chou and Sebastian made us wonderful communal breakfasts - cooking egg dishes, cheese on toast and other goodies for breakfast, and providing plenty of toast, jam, chocolate spread etc. They were extremely kind and helpful, and we felt happy and very well looked after. The bed was luxuriously comfortable, the room enormous with beautiful furniture and decorated with Klimt pictures.

The room had an odd smell (you stopped noticing it after a while) - I labelled it 'camels' to fit with the arab-style furnishings! We had the bad luck to get a mosquito in the room. The kind hosts supply insect repellant in the bathroom cabinets - use it if sensitive: I didn't realise Malta has (some) mosquitos all year round. I rated the wifi good rather than excellent because for some reason my laptop kept losing connection after the first evening, though my partner's laptop and our phones had no issues.

We had a lovely room with a we balcony on the 3rd floor. The area was quiet and it's in the heart of the old city. Breakfast was lovely and the staff took care.

It's not easy to find. The road is just a block long so a good map to the hotel is a must. If you have challenges with stairs this may not be a great choice.

This is a lovely old limestone building, built some 400 years ago, it has many of the original features, but it has also been renovated to the highest standard, The bathrooms are beautiful and the kitchen-breakfast area is clean and well equipped. The owners are the most delightful, informed and hospitable people and nothing is too much trouble.

Slight dampness in the room, there was a dehumidifier but it was noisy. We also got mozzies in the room and were bitten extensively, until we bought a plug-in device.

Excellent service, very friendly hostess, you can ask her anything, very good breakfast, great location in a quiet little street, 2min walk to the seaside, 5min walk to ferry to Sliema, 5min walk to center of valletta, very clean bathroom, very romantic, had the trip of my life!

    Nothing actually!

What a wonderful place, quite street without traffic, but so close to the main square of Valletta, spacious room furnished with a taste, free internet, breakfasts on a roof terrace, owners with extreme kindness and attention. I wish I'd come back

It was not so obvious for me to find the small street, the gps coordnates seem not exact.
