Hotel Cavalieri  

Large selection of good food for breakfast. Large room and cosy.

Maids came to ask for check out, before the begining of the check out time, which is at 9am-11am, and they cam at 8.45am.

Had a fantastic stay in the Cavalieri.Booked a double room which had 2 d beds.Lovely staff, location ok, nice resturants nearby, out on the waters edge so can swin in the sea. Pool area is lovely, staff very helpful &friendly..indoor pool&spa also. Would def recommend.

Hotel is down the end of a narrow streeet &is difficult to find when driving by car.

Clean and well maintained. Nice design lovely location.

Good ,clean, friendly and in a quiet location. Easy location for buses and restaurants.

Slow hotel lifts

The rooms are very clean and spacious. I stayed in room 341 and had two balconies viewing the sea. Lovely. Hotel Staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay

So far everything was great. Slight parking problem.

The seaside view is simply breathtaking! Room always clean an perfect.

There isn't any gym, which I believe a 4 star hotel should have. The Sauna was down for 2 days. And I believe the staff could offer some more explanation of the hotel to newcomers.

The food and the room

There is no parking for the hotel!

View. View from balcony is excellent. Also location of the hotel is good. You are away from crowd and noise but you are not away from center of the city. You can walk everywhere in St Julian. The room has good condition.

The only good thing about the hotel was the location.

The beds were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept in, the room electrics were a health hazard, the mini bar had half drunk bottles of water in them from previous guests and cleaners left our patio doors wide open so that people on the streets could come into our room.

Nice location, great view over the bay. Nice breakfast buffet in the morning.

Not a 4 star room, fixtures/linens old and worn, poor ac, 2 star room, pool and restaurant 3 star. Pool and sun area is too small when hotel is full, hard to get two chairs after 11 am, no wait staff poolside. The luggage room is unattended.

Well situated for St Julain's nightlife

Not all impressed by teh standard of service provided by the hotel reception staff. When we arrived we had to wait a long time to check in, partially due to the fact the three staff were all dealing with a single client. However, the manner in which we were subsequently dealt with by a middle-aged woman, on two separate occasions, was far worse. Furthermore, the standard of facilities in the bathroom was poor and not befitting a 4-start hotel. I will definitely not stay at that hotel again.

The veiw over St Julian's bay

Warning This hotel does not have air conditioning. When we complained to the hostile receptioninst we were informed that the air conditioning was heating or fresh air. The manager refused to see us and the receptionist told us to take this matter up with our travel agent and was dissappointed when she learnt that we booked through booking.com. The minor construction work being carried out at the hotel and the construction site next door, the cleaners not replacing toweling or fully cleaning your room and dinner more expensive than the 5 star Hilton next door are minor inconveniences, however if you do not want your deoderant and lipstick melting out of their containers in your room, this hotel may not be for you.

Incorrect room for first night,inferior, given discount, but feel it should have been free as very tiny compared to booked room.(upgraded to see view 3months before with confirmation from hotel of upgrade).No atmospehere as no entertainment, only tv in Bar.Staff on reception not particually helpfull.Just felt they did there job to the basic.Did not eat in the hotel, apart from breakfasts were warm in the serving dishes.I felt the hotel needs some sort of uplift to bring up to 2011 standards. and could be fantastic with that location
