renligheden var dårlig, det var ucharmerende, og alle de faciliteter der er ved hotellet koster ekstra - lidt ubehageligt når det er de eneste fordele der er ved hotellet i forhold til konkurencen lokalt. vi endte med at skifte efter to dage - så snart vi kunne!

Breakfast could be improved such as add more different types of cereals and fruit. there was no kettle & shower caps in the room. TV channels are limited. One can add German/French and Spanish channels. In this way it can attract more the tourism market. if they add bathrooms it will make it more luxurious.

Reasonably priced - central location

I am contemplating buying a holiday home on Gozo and needed a central location from which to meet the Estate Agent and explore the area. Downtown Hotel suited this purpose entirely. I decided to upgrade the original economy single room for one with a view and a balcony....the cost of doing this was minimal. My room was light and airy and very clean. Internet connection was provided free. Staff were friendly and very helpful and the full English breakfast was excellent. I would have liked coffee/tea making facilities in the room although room service was good.

We went to this hotel because we wanted to be close to the opera house.

We had booked a country view but were placed in the front rooms of the hotel facing a school and a rather noisy street. Every morning there was a strong smell of solvent in the reception area I am also sensitive to strong odours

Friendly efficient staff clean all you need for a base to travel around Gozo a bit out of the way but all the locals seem to dine there I was impressed by the price and the content of the mini bar in room. But overall as a first time solo traveller was a tad nervous due to the location of the hotel to walk to the town of a night but they have a courtesy car that will drop you off and pick you back up! Food was brilliant and the price was value for money I will be back!

There was a group of about 12 booked in and due to the decor of the hotel the smallest sound seemed to echo around the corridors-but I just put it down to there ignorance,however having experienced the moans of people abroad this may result in several bad revues

The bed sheets didn't seem to have been changed when we arrived the first night (loads of hair and crumbs from the previous occupants). They were changed when we complained the next day.

Good location, no noise! Easy to reach by car and centric if you want to have a walk in the city. Rooms are quite big and very clean.
