Η αίσθηση πολυτέλειας που αποπνέουν οι χώροι του και το εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό. Την συμπεριφορά (ελάχιστων) από το προσωπικό που έχουν μπλαζέ κι αποδοκιμαστικό ύφος για όσους (όπως εμείς) δεν πληρούν τα εμφανισιακά "πρότυπά" τους. Επίσης -και κυρίως- τον ενοχλητικό θόρυβο των events που λαμβάνουν χώρο στην πισίνα του ξενοδοχείου, ιδιαίτερα κατά τις πολύ πρωινές ώρες. Στις δύο ημέρες που μείναμε, είχε μία δεξίωση γάμου και τον διαγωνισμό "Miss Italia" μέχρι αργά το πρωί... |

δύο πράγματα ήταν εξαίσια σε αυτό το ξενοδοχείο, το προσωπικό που ήταν ευγενέστατο και η τοποθεσία του ξενοδοχείου που ήταν φαναταστική... ίσως το εστιατόριο, δεν μας άρεσε πολύ το φαγητό στο ξενοδοχείο |

Ευχάριστο περιβάλλον, κυρίως για τα δωμάτια με θέα στη θάλασσα (σε πολύ υψηλότερη τιμή). Διάθεση εμφιαλωμένου νερού και πρόσβασης στο διαδίκτυο χωρίς πρόσθετη επιβάρυνση Μου δηλώθηκε κατά την άφιξη ότι είναι πολιτική τυου ξενοδοχείου να μπλοκάρει σε χρέωση της πιστωτικής κάρτας ποσό 50€/διανυκτέρευση (δηλ. στην περίπτωσή μου 200€), ως ένα έιδος "εγγύησης". Το θεωρώ τελείως απαράδεκτο, για διάφορους λόγους αλλά κυρίως γιατί δεν αναφέρεται στις πληροφορίες της κράτησης. Αν το γνώριζα σεν θα επέλεγα το συγκεκριμένο ξενοδοχείο. Αυτά τα έχω ήδη αναφέρει στο ξενοδοχείο |

Location is excellent. Views from breakfast first class. Room very well appointed, clean and comfortable Some of the add on services could have been better - room service, concierge, taxis and laundry all worse than average in my experience |

Other than the very poor quality & choice of food, the staff were all friendly and helpful. The choice and quality of the a la carte menus was very poor. Remember: the Excelsior is graded as a 5* Hotel!! On the criterion of a la carte food, the hotel does not merit a 5* rating. |

The hotel is beautiful & very comfortable. The staff are friendly and most helpful. There is a warmth and sense of style about the hotel and the view of the bay from the dining room is superb. Breakfaast was just wonderful with a wide range of food. We loved the hotel and really enjoyed our stay. It is quite close to the main bus station in Valletta and that made everything so convenient for us. There was nothing we did not like about the hotel. We can find only words of praise for the hotel. However, there is a slight hill just outside the hotel and this might be a problem for elderly people. Of course, there is a shuttle bus provided by the hotel which will take you to the town centre if booked in advance. This comes along hourly from 9am. |

The view from sea-view rooms. Comfortable beds. Location - close to the old sites and the bus station. The service was haphazard and not in line with a 5-star hotel, particularly at breakfast. High prices for drinks and food. |

Housing keeping was excellent. Front desk and Concierge were terrible. I was at the desk complaining and so was the person next to me. The staff did nothing. |

To enjoy the hotel to the fullest, recommend that one books a room with full harbour view. Hotel facilities are luxurious and quiet. Staff are courteous and helpful. Location is 10 minutes walking from Valletta city and main bus terminus Hotel site is somewhat isolated. Shopping / entertainment areas in Sliema and Paceville require a ride by public bus or taxi (fare 20 Euros). |

Room, Location, Staff Hotel fullybooked hard to get served at B'fast, just for a coffee. Other 5* hotels in the area (Fortina Spa) have espresso coffee machines in bedrooms maybe the Excelsior team will consider this. |

I appreciated to find exactly 3 persons good at their jobs, who enabled me to bear my stay and make it less painful. Basic rules are not respected : toilet paper is not given systematically, so aren't the goodies (body lotion, bath and shower cream, etc.), the rooms are only apparently clean (I found out at the end of my stay that crashed biscuits were hidden under the bed, and the couches in the lobby are full of dust and are gray instead of yellow sometimes), most of the personnel is unpleasant and unwelcoming as soon as you have a special request (I often heard them moaning, in the restaurant I was given a table already occupied and another one full of the dirts of the previous customers). Plus, there's no transparency on prices. All in all, this is not a five star hotel, rather a 2 star hotel in France with plenty of additional services. |
