Hotel Fortina

Maltalaisten ihmisten ystävällisyys ja palvelualttius, joustavuus. Kaikki järjestyi ja apua/neuvoja sai tarvittaessa. Englannin kielinen palvelu helpotti.

Sijainti oli hyvällä paikalla, pois hälinästä mutta kuitenkin lähellä kaikkea. Bussipysäkit olivat lähellä, lautta Valettaan oli lähellä, parhaat ostoskadut olivat Valettassa sekä tämän hotellin lähistöllä. Viikon majoituksen edullinen 'tarjoushinta'.

Naapurihotelliin kutsuvat esitteljät, jotka esittivät asiansa hieman arveluttavasti. Antoivat ymmärtää esittelevänsä kylpyläaluetta.

Nkymät, myös Vallettaan, olivat erittäin hyviä.Hyvät liikenneyhteydet ja kaupat lähettyvillä.

Vastaanottohenkilökunnan asenne ja huoneiden sisustus eivät vastaa 4-tähden hotellin tasoa, Siivouksen taso kyseenalainen, sillä huoneestamme löytyi kuivunut 3-4 cm torakka.

huone oli iso ja siisti, kylpylän hoidot ihania, sijainti oli hyvä ja siitä pääsi näppärästi kävellen lähikaupunkeihin

Italialaisen ravintolan ruoka, varsinkin lasagne

it is very quiet, and can see the sea through the window. it also very easy to travel around.

Brilliant location with great view from our balcony across to Valetta. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, buses and ferries. Very reasonable off peak rate. Go for it!

Nice hotel in a great location. Incredible view across harbour to Valetta. Close to shopping and rather quiet nightlife. About 3 km from the busier St Julians with it's bar and club scene. Buffet breakfast was great. Most guests were elderly.

Reception staff looked like they wished they were elsewhere. Toilet in room wouldn't flush properly. My room was next to lift so woken early by people talking outside but not major problem. No maps of area. No info about local bars and restaurants.

Nice location, good transport connections and hotel services...

I made reservation for the see view, but in the end I was looking the city roofs. That was something that disappointed me a lot. The price was the same. There is no enough places for parking. You must have some hotel tickets not to pay parking in front of the hotel.

Location was just perfect, close to the ferry to valletta, close to shopping district in sliema

Room was very small (114), bed mattress was in very bad condition, noisy in the mornings when all guest pass it on the way to the lifts (small and slow), housekeeping likes to 'move' things and put them where she wants them to be, breakfast every day same choice, spa next door is very expensive we pay less in our back home in wimbledon, london

Front of the 4star hotel has view of Valletta fortifications, good evening promenade along harbour coast, 4 pools and the restaurants are shared with 5star resort&spa hotel. Rooms are spacious, buffet breakfast has variety and good food. 5 minute walk to buses for other towns, harbour cruises and some shopping.

Seaview could be harbour view (highly preferable) or from the back of hotel, a strip of sea at the horizon above newly built or being built buildings and view is through half a dozen construction cranes. There was a waterleak in the hall of our floor near light fixtures, we were told they had somebody fixing it. We worried about eletrical problems all night and woke up to drenched floor carpets, walls and cielings. In the morning water was still dripping from cieling. Happy to check out. Light fixture fell from the cieling near elevator missing me by one step forward. Furniture in one room was old (from the 80s) and mattresses was springy and squeeky, toilet seat yellow with age. Minimal TV stations.

the upgraded room was spacious and a brilliant view over the garden, the salt water swimming pool aided the lesser swimmer

slow lifts, food and drinks expensive

Hotel Fortina is selling a product thay don´t have. We booked a room there because we checked the web, and there we found pictures of beutiful new and clean rooms. When we arrived there, we faced the truth: a dirty, old, small, and smelly room.
