Location was great and very friendly owner.Lots of nice resteraunts in the area.
We were really surprised to meet russianspeaking personnel in the hotel. Veera is very helpfull, entisiastic and ready to support us in our discovery of Marsalforn.
What i liked mostly was how the hotel was in the middle of marsalforn making it extremely close to entertainments like bars, restaurants and shops, its literally just a 2 minute walk for a swim!
The parking at night though i must say was quite a pain if you have a car. Im not so sure about this but during the night music plays so if you plan an early nights sleep it might be a bit difficult.
Located central and with possible sea view.
Room can be cleaner. Wifi receiption was not reachable from the third floor. Also we had to pay an extra fee for aircondition service.
Location Breakfast Staff Restaurants close by Beach close by
Coffee 1 tiny window Room not very clean 2 single beds joined in 1
Extra charge for remote ac control in summer!!! Beds were not comfortable. Bathroom was not clean. And was very expensive.
The position is best right on the sea. Staff is so gentle and our room clean.
Air conditioning is not free and a little too expensive (5 euros at day), without air conditioning our room was like the inferno.
The room was very clean, TV included, Wifi in the lobby, nice breakfast and the owner of the hotel is very helpful, friendly and caring. Asking for improvement and she will do everything to solve the problem. Balcony is beautiful.
The bathroom is due to the aridness very mouldy and smells very bad after a little while after showering. Especially when you close the door to the bathroom. The fan was very dusty, but after mentioning it to the owner, it was cleaned the next day. Noisy on weekends because it's at the center of the town which might be a good thing if you want to enjoy live music or lively bars...
You don't have to drive away as very close to the sandy beach, restaurants and for a stroll along the beautiful promenade view.
Just the next door English pub should stop his loud music by 11pm. Or has his music played indoors/soundproof/ very inconvenience to neighbours.
The only staff were the cleaner and the manager, a foreigner who did everything herself, cleaning breakfast area taking care of everything. She was extremely friendly and swt. The location is in marsalforn so it was quite good but we still won't visit again, it not worth it!
The room was fairly clean, we reqiested a double bedroom but we had twin instead and so it wasnt that comfortable. The tv was tiny and very old. Furniture neefs to be changed. We had to pay an extra 5euros for airvondition cause otherwise its extremely hot. During our stay the electricity of gozo went out, the hotel did not have a generator or anything so we were in a total blackout!!! There were some emergency lights in the corridor but the rooms nothing!!! Eventually even the emergency lights went off so we stayed out hoping that electricity will be back soon since without ac it was too hot and it was a total blackout. This was ridiculous! From around 7 in the evening till 7am there is no reception or any hotel staff, no one. We were told if anything happens we call her and she will come. So it did not feel so safe since even though we had to enter from the back door with our key, anyone could enter the hotel. I do not recommend this hotel since it s not worth the money!!
the friendly service, and accommodation
Veera was very helpful and made us feel welcome, even getting up early on out last day to ensure we had breakfast before we left.
excellent location, seconds from the beach and promenade.
late checkout was confirmed on my booking, but the hotel refused to honour this. room was extremely dirty on arrival. room was far to small, and could hardly fit the baby cot in. baby cot was broken on one side so my little one could fall out. website stated bar, restaurant and sun terrace available - this was not the case. out of reception hours or if the only staff member left the reception you had to access via a back door that only half opened and therefore did not fit a pushchair. this was extremely dangerous as it opened straight onto a road with oncoming traffic, and I had to leave it on the road unattended while I carried my baby to our room. if you want an passable breakfast I suggest going down early otherwise you are left while stale bread and sweaty cheese. would def not stay there ever again and would not recommend. I have stayed in thousands of hotels, and this would be one of worst!!
its clean and quiet
i thing the price is a litle bit expensive
Rooms too small
The location of the hotel is, parking facility nearby, courtesy of Veera, comfortable rooms, good breakfast etc.
everything was fine
you had to pay for the A C
It seemed as the hotel was very under staffed and in need of refurbishment. The floors where dirty. The hotel charged us 5 EURO for the use of the air conditioning. During breakfast the products used where inferior, in particular the tea.
The courtesy of the staff. ..excellent
Location is very good close to the beach and restaurants, Ideal for a sleepover.
Cleaniness was not much as desired, balcony was all dusty, and shower tray was not cleaned - had soap residue.
To pay extra for air conditioning even though it is only Euro5 per night. Bathroom a bit small.
It was very quiet, probably not too many tourists around at that time, we had 1 night only. Veera the person that took care of us was so nice and genuine. It as perfect for us.
Location and Eva, the receptionist. She was very helpful and friendly. This hotel is a good value for money. Basic and simple but good.
Before confirming the booking you had the option:" Do you want a quiet room?".... (Who wants to pay to sleep in a noisy hotel room??! ). Whatever. We ticked "yes, we want a quiet room". We got a room on a street level with balcony on top of live band that played until midnight.
We loved the hotel, especially the sea view room. Highly recommended.
