Il Palazzin Hotel  

Very clean and quiet. Lovely spacious room with sea view (ask for a high floor) Breakfast ample, even hot food served daily. Easy walk to the front and bus stops including stop for all day sight seeing bus, recommended.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Il Palazzin! I will probably go back there when I'll go again to Malta. It was super clean, the staff was very helpful with giving useful information about Malta, travelling around and recommending restaurants and places to see. Also with other requests. I only had breakfast there as I was out and about all day. The food was plentiful and varied enough for a week's stay, I chose something else to eat from the buffet each morning. The hotel has an out- door and an in-door swimming pool. Very clean, I recommend them. Also, has internet facilities. I really enjoyed staying at the Palazzin and I warmly recommend it to anyone who isn't super pretentious and likes the to live in a quiter area of Malta.

Location of the pool to the east. No sun all day!

Relatively close to the sea. Not much traffic in the street. Easy and free parking close to entrance. Room relatively clean. Sea-view from balcony (not all rooms have this). Low price.

Extremely loud 24*7 noise from aircondition on building roof across the street. Carpet in hallways dirty. Breakfast lousy - didn't dare trying dinner. Tv signal very distorted on most relevant channels, tv itself a 14" tube leftover from the '80s with an almost working universal remote. Bathroom worn down - had to get maintenance to fix shower which had clearly been broke for months (years?). Clock Radio didn't work. This is to be expected from a hotel at this price, but not from a 4-star hotel. Recommended (especially if you're hearing impaired) but only based on the low price.

The breakfast was ok, but nothing special. A bit more variety would have been nice.

Very friendly staff, good size double bedroom, very clean. Room was cleaned every day and sheets and towels were changed. Hotel is located in very quiet street but is also close to several local pubs. Main Bugibba bus station is 5 minutes walking distance away. Good size pool with a lot of sun all day. I would recommend it and great value for money.

Good size & clean double room with a pool view. Working aircondition and plenty of hot water at the shower. Good breakfast (bread, ham, cheese, yogurt, müesli, oranges, omelet, coffee/tea) and a very friendly staff. Sun was shining to the pool the whole day. This hotel is located on a quiet side street, walking distance to everywhere at Qawra.

Breakfast could start earlier than 7:30 (some scuba trips start before 8)

The staff were very friendly and always helpful.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar. Die zentrale Bushaltestelle lag nur zwei Straßenzüge weiter, wir hatten über zwei andere Hotels hinweg Meerblick, das Frühstück war für den Preis (36 € für 2 Personen inkl. Frühstück) gut (Toast, Kuchen, 3 Sorten Wurst, eine Sorte Käse, Ei, Baked Beans, Würstchen, Müsli, Obst, Tomaten, Salat, Joghurt, Cerealien, O-Saft, Kaffe, Tee, Milch), die Rezeption war sehr, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und auch der Hotelmanager stand während der Planungsphase der Reise hilfreich zur Seite. Die Zimmer haben eine Wanne und immer heißes Wasser.

Das Zimmer hatte zwar einen Fernseher, wir konnten aber nur ndr und Arte empfangen. Ansonsten war alles in Ordnung-und ganz ehrlich: Wer mehr Käseauswahl oder mehr Komfort haben möchte, muss einfach auch mehr zahlen und deswegen sind wir angesichts des unschlagbaren Preises sehr zufrieden gewesen.
