This is a well run hotel, though the uncompromising hotel bureaucracy can be frustrating. The standards are high and the food excellent. The wi-fi and internet charges are expensive. Noisy cleaners. No warning given to guests that cars without a tight turning circle will have difficulty getting in and out of the car park. |

B'fast was good. Staff helpful and rooms clean. Hotel is not central but a good start point for visiting Gozo, exploring the nature and countryside on the northern part of Malta. |

Very nice, modern hotel, our room was beautiful, spacious and very clean. Breakfast was amazing : wide selection of food. The staff was very friendly. For people looking for intimity, the bathroom is very modern but the door can't be completely closed... 45 minutes by bus from Valetta. |

Facilities are very good and location is ideal Despite having great facilities, these are not kept up to a 4* standard. Indoors pool 's ceiling was all damp and paint is all flaky. Jacuzzy was missing some parts, so it looked like it was out of order. Walls in the bedroom looked very run down, with scratches and damp. Also TV is horrible, no even one channel can be watched properly, poor quality reception. |

Very good facilities, an indoor hot swimming pool, a very good cuisine, comfortable beds, a private parking. We could even see a santuary and the sea from our terrace. It's near to the beach and Gozo ferry terminal, and other places of interest (Red Tower, Mosta, National Park, Melieha Bay, etc.) Very recommended. |

Staff were helpful. The room was a reasonable size. The position was good. Appreciated the bottle of wine we were given on our first night. The breakfast was good. The car park is a disaster...we almost burnt the clutch out on the hire car the only time we used it. It is impossible to drive up or down in a small car without endlessly reversing...it was a scary experience. Therefore had to hunt for parking nearby.Twin beds pushed together do not work...need to have some decent double beds with a duvet rather than heavy covers. |

We had our honeymoon at the Maritim in late September 2009 (by accident rather than by choice). It turned out to be an absolutely brilliant hotel with friendly staff, great food (they did themed buffet dinners, Italian, Maltese, BBQ etc.), great facilities, gardens. Everything was very clean: rooms, pool areas.A couple of beach huts hidden away in the gardens was a perfect place to relax. Rooms were much nicer in the main hotel part (not the older part across the road). Breathtaking views of Mellieha from the roof top pool area. Apart from a few small things (such as no 24 hour room service) it deserves to be upgraded to 5*. Fantastic value for money too! Mellieha is a quiet and tranquil village - ideal for a relaxing break/honeymoon |

Great time with the wife and friends. Please see comments below for suggestions of improvement. My only comment for improvement is to have later pool hours. Closing time for all three pools was 9:00 - 9:30 pm. This is times that should be for children; when on holiday as an adult I would like to be able to go out with my wife and enjoy an evening then come back to the room and swim in the hot tub or pool... I recommend that you, as a chain, extend pool hours until 12:00 midnight for competent adults. This may require that a staff member merely check on the pools every 15 min or you ensure CCTV is available to monitor the pools after hours. Also, I was kind of miffed that we had a room that looked into a concrete wall. |

Pleasant atmosphere, nicely fresh structure, very good catering suitable for any kind of international guests. Absolutely welcoming. Parking facilities suitable only for small cars. Ventilation sistem to be improved in the tunnel connecting the two buildings (across the road). |

The location had a great view of Mellieha bay and bus stops across the hotel good for getting to the beach or to ferries for Gozo or to go Valletta. Beach is a nice walk downhill, but can be challenging walk back up to the hotel. Our room was big and clean with balcony that had a view of the town, bay and hotel pool and garden. The staff were friendly and approachable. Buffet dinner food was good and served local as well as international dishes. The roof top had a bar which was closed and roof top pool was not lit at night. I think the roof top should be lit and usuable because it does have a great view of Parish Church, bay and town and would be a great place for drinks, dining and a swim in the evening. |

The quality of pubblic services, geographic position, its rich breakfast (international breakfast) and the kindness of the staff. In my bedroom it was not possible to close completely the door in the bathroom. |
