Very nice and helpful staff at the reception - they organized car rental which was efficient and cheaper than the one next door, and provided us with all the information that we needed. Good job! Professional spa center with nice and skilfull staff. Good food at the breakfast buffet, but also in the cafeteria donwstairs. Rooms were quite comfortable, and rather clean. Beware of the rooms facing the city - even if you close the balcony doors you will hear the trucks going since 4 in the morning. We were also dissapointed with the indoor pool - small, rather dirty, with the jacuzzi that never worked. On the top of it we spotted a huge cockrough there, walking across the floor.... As we were there off-season and coudn't use the out-door pools that really spoiled the fun. And one small detail, which was quite annoying - every morning before 9 the staff was opening the door and asking if we need the mini bar replenished. Can they do it later, or together with cleaning the room when the guests are no longer inside, or at least knock and wait for the answer instead of opening the doors immediately?

I cannot praise this Hotel high enough. From arrival to departure my wife and I enjoyed every minute. We found all members of staff, from cleaners, reception, catering and Guest relations to be very courteous, helpful and polite. I must mention and a very special thank you to Alice Heschel from Hotel Guest Relations who was very helpful and kindly arranged all my requests to surprise my wife on this a very belated Honeymoon. The breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic and provided ample selection for all tastes. The room was a very good standard and we had a sea view.Cleanliness was a very good standard and overall standard throughout the Hotel was excellent. The pool areas( a choice of three ) were all of a good standard and clean, with towels provided for use in and outside(beach) use. The gym which is free to use is a very good well equipped facility. I would certainly recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Mellieha.

The fitness facilities are very good, and also the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, especially the rooftop pool is excellent. Breakfast was also very good. There was no air-conditioning in the room, and it was rather hot during our two days' stay. Moreover, the way down the car park is relatively difficult to manage, even with a relatively small car.

the spa was excellent, the rooms were a good size, it was quiet there, good location. the rooms were fairly hot even with the air conditioning on, it might be because we had rooms south facing so maybe avoid the high floors overlooking the pool if you want cooler rooms.

Deluxe room lived up to its name, view was great and breakfast was varied and abundant. A ramp adjacent to the front stairs would be great as carrying the luggage up and down the stairs is no fun !!!!!!

I have stayed several times here and I was always satisfied with what I had. 1) What I didn't like is the fact that you cannot control the heating system and the room was very warm for my liking. 2) We booked a double bed but we were given a bed with two mattresses that didn't zip-up. There was a gap between the bed and wasn't very comfortable. 3) There was no shower gel in the bathroom and we had to shower with a small soap!

Great extra facilities with roof sunbath and swimming pool, spa, and a very extensive and good breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed the live music at the lounge. The bed was too soft while the pillow was too hard which did not make for the most comfortable sleep. If your a light sleeper, earplugs are advized because of traffic sounds. Due to the inefficient busroutes in malta, location was not the most convenient for us.

The location was great - close to historic church and a short walk or bus ride to the sea. Room was comfortable and included tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. Breakfast and evening meal was plentiful, varied and tasty. The spa facilities and indoor pool were great. Staff were friendly and effecient. We used the local buses to go to Valetta, Mdina and Rabat and also took a boat to Comino to see the blue lagoon, caves and a walk round the island (strong shoes required) to the tower, battery, church and coastline. The layout of the hotel is a bit confusing with levels not always clearly signed in the lifts. There is a tunnel linking two parts of the hotel.

As we were on holiday in malta for almost 4 weeks to suit our budget we booked a standard room with breakfast we were looking out on a side street so had no view however for the price we paid i could not complain breakfast was quite good and the room was clean. As for the spa and leisure centre with the exception of the jacuzzi which is too small i found everything else ok the indoor swimming pool was a nice temperature contrary to some reviews. Overall we were well satisfied with our stay and would certainly go back

Very clean and big rooms. Very good breakfast and helpful staff. Excellent view over Mellieha bay. Garage entrance is awful as you need to go few floors down through very narrow spiral. Saunas are not very clean and massage was not really professional.

Spa was lovely but very pricey and breakfast was great also The room could have had a lick of paint. Food was not too hectic, we could not believe it when we saw the chef taking the mussels out of the micro wave the poor things had shriveled away and my hubby is a chef he was disgusted. Very cold in the lobby and no atmosphere ot music to keep people there for the evening
