To go to my room I had to go on two lifts. Breakfast needs upgrading and variety.
Comfort, good facilities good food good service etc.
car Park............Did not notice that car park is meant for cars up to metres long. Was nightmare going down. Much safer going up.
The weather.... the bus service.....
Mouldy net curtains... old, grey and scratchy towels.... dusty and smelly carpets.... the view out ofthe window onto a building site with all the associated noise.... poor quality produce at breakfast...what is that 'julce?'...and tasteless bacon and sausage....
Great indoor pool. Very good breakfast. Large clean room with very nice view and facilities
Parking area entrance/exit is too tight if you have a middle to large car. Risk of damage if your'e not careful.
Clean, comfortable and very good breakfast.
We booked the Penthouse suite specifically for the hot tub days in advance, we checked in, paid the bill for the stay, went up to the room and the hot tub was empty we talked to the reception expecting them to fill it up (at our request) and we were told by one girl that it just stopped work that morning, while another man Mark Fenech- said it hadnt worked in 5 months. I pointed out that they should have told us either when the booking was accepted or even at checking/ before we paid. We were told that the manager was going to call us but he was stuck in a meeting after having to wait for his call for 3 hours in the room. Its a pity because I think the hotel is value for money but the customer care leaves much to be desired. First and Last time.
Booked the room at a very cheap price
Wouldnt have paid more. Asked for a double bed, got a twin bed.
We got a really good price. It has 3 swimming pools.
Tunnel to rooms in the annex was a bit confusing !
Its a kind of tucked away secretive hotel worth exploring.
The car parks 5 story spiral of doom, not for the faint hearted.
Swimming pool can be looked after more often and Jacuzzi.
Everything, had a fab time staying here would highly recommend, thank you
Excellent 4 star hotel with a good value for money
Food and price of accomodation was very reasonable
Small room and fwew deckchairs by the indoor pool.
Nice clean spacious rooms. Strong wifi.
Food was rather poor and toddlers running around restaurant at breakfast was quite annoying. Fault of the parents of course but I did expect the staff to inform the parents to keep the kids near them but they didnt. Not only was it a nuisance to other guests it was also dangerous for the kids running where people were carrying hot tea and coffee.
Very good wifi Large and comfy room - upgrade for same price location
everiting was good.
Very quite..lovely place..
clean good staff facilities are excellent super gardens with lots outside space
plentiful breakfast but not very warm best ask for omellette which is cooked while you wait
I loved the gym and spa facilities. I had the best hot stones massage ever. My room was very spacious and had a balcony with garden and sea view. I also had tea making facilities, which is always a bonus and daily maid service. The hotel is convenient for shopping, bars and restaurants, and is near to one of the few sandy beaches in Malta.
This is a personal preference, rather than a criticism, and not a comment against the hotel. I don't enjoy buffet dining. The restaurant is large and the hotel tends to be busy and so I don't enjoy lining up for my food and having to serve myself, or getting up and down between courses. The food choices are plentiful and you will find something to enjoy and there is waiter service for drinks to the table.
Breakfast was to die for with staff that is very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and was done everyday
We had asked for a double bed but we two beds next to each other . Not the end of the world.
Food in restaurant and the breakfast.
When arrived I have spent an hour looking for parking space along the bussy streets in town because the parking places were limited to 5 cars in very dodgy spiral parking the rest of the small parking spaces were taken by skips, rubbish and old furniture. Hotel looked like it needed serious refurbishment and carpet on the hallways stinks. A bit of dissapointment after long journey however the price was really low as should be the expectations.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean. Food was excellent. Excellent value for money.
The food was excellent. There wasn't a huge selection of food but the food was good quality, was well cooked and was tasty. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The drinks were very reasonably priced. The décor was tasteful and stylish. The hotel is in Mellieha near to bars and restaurants. Mellieha Bay is a 15 minute walk but there is a bus stop outside the hotel and you can get an all day bus ticket for 1.50 euros. There is a frequent bus service. There is an indoor heated swimming pool with a Jacuzzi which we enjoyed, with chairs around to relax in. The gardens are attractive as well as the pool and there is a rooftop sun terrace with a pool as well with amazing views over Mellieha Bay. There is a towel service as well and you don't have to pay a deposit. The safe is also free of charge. I would highly recommend the hotel and would stay there again.
- huge double beds - plentiful breakfast - view from the rooftop terrasse
- spots on bedsheets - asked for room on high-florr, got room on the lowest floor - rooms looking to the main street are extremely noisy - half board dinner does not include drinks at all (not even water)
low quality food (the cooks they do their best with the poor ingredients)
