Modern room furnishings and bathroom. Garden pool area. Choice of breakfast buffet
Awkward to control a/c in room
Wi fi access
First room underground room 144 Bathroom crawling with ants and steep slippery stairs within room without bannister. making vist to toilet in the night dangerous. Second room better but in annex over the road.
They upgraded our room They had great food for dinner The staff is well trained - great service great spa facilities and free free wifi all around the property
A bit too noisy due to its location within town and main street Breakfast - limited options, not great Instant coffee not ground coffee beans - I'm a coffee lover, you have to go out and drink one if you are a beach lover, beach is quite far, you need to take the bus, and beach is not as great as I imagined, nothing special about it, large but catering poorly
Rooms were quiet, clean and services excellent. Breakfast was very varied and abundant, of very good quality
The wifi was impressive, and the rooftop pool was open late and was very atmospheric. As we were in a budget room we were not in the main building, but was still perfectly lovely.
Wanted a relaxing get away from it all break and this fitted the bill. 3 lovely pools with the indoor one as warm as a bath. Hotel in a wonderful location and a good selection of bars and restaurants where nearby.
The buses to the ferry terminal are very busy. Quite often the buses won't stop due to over crowding. Be prepared to push your way to the front if one does stop.
Food was good in general Room comfortable & clean
stuff need to be more friendly & need to smile especially the waiters Food was good and fresh but needs to be more variate especially the breakfast Air conditioners needs to be maintained very noisy
Great good breakfast. High shower water pressure. Hot water is really hot. helpful reception personnel and waiting staff.
Cleaning staff told us we'll clean the room in 10 minutes. Went out, ecc... and after a couple of hours didn't clean.
Cleaner smoking in room
nice restaurants around the bus stop is right in front of hotel
the floor was dusty and we asked the reception twice to get it cleaned. the receptionist is impatient to explain how to get to the room since there is a tunnel and two sides of hotels use different floor levels which is very confusing.
Everything was good, the staff , the food . Very nice location for the hotel. Nice sea view. Melieha is a place to get some rest and relaxation.
breakfast buffet& dinner its position indoor pool &jacuzzi patio view garden kingsize bed kind staff
the water leaked out through the old bath curtain and the bathroom became an small indoor pool!
The overall experience is good. The hotel has spacious double delux rooms and clean swimming pools. Rich breakfast and nice garden.
There were many things that were not quite okay. First, do not book a room with a city view if you are sensitive to noise. The windows are faced to the central road of Mellieha. We asked for a room change, because I couldn't sleep for 3 nights, but they refused to give us a quiet room (although I have requested for such) and on top the stuff was extremely arrogant and apathetic saying that we booked the room with city view and that is what they gave us. Furniture in the room was quite shabby and not clean at all. Sheets for our child were provided only upon request (although we booked for three persons). They also use some very strangely smelling detergent to clean their rooms which can be irritating. TV control remote was not working until we asked them to fix it. Be aware of the fact that although this is a family friendly hotel there are pool hours for children from 10-12 am and 2-5 pm. Watermelons and melons at breakfast were usually rotten (we stayed for 8 nights). It seems that hotel standards are low comparing to the northern parts of Europe.
The out door and in door pool .good food
great small pool for very young children very accomodating staff
more child friendly food on menus such as pizza etc
Regarding the staff they really went out of their way to help us. My wife had had a bad fall in May breaking her leg in two places, both compound fractures, resulting that she is still undergoing therapy and still very difficult to walk without help. The staff were over helpful especially at the restaurant reserving a table for us as near the serving counter as possible to say the least. It gave my wife a very big boost to which we are very thankful indeed. We cannot thank them enough. We are sure that we will visit again.
We had a problem with a blocked drain in the bathroom with dirty water overflowing in the bathroom making it impossible to use. We called reception and the lady immediately called maintenance. This was 7.35am. The maintenance man showed up at 9.15am after we had to inform reception again. The maintenance man told me that he had assumed it was what not as bad as he found things to be which I thought was rather silly, un-professional and a lame excuse.
Nice location, very good restaurants serving exceptional food. nice staff too!
Hotel needs refurbishment in some areas. Smell of sewage in our room and in some public places too. Car Park is a disgrace!! It is very difficult to go down and up plus there a few parking space, not more than 10. Car park is very dirty and smelly. My car also got damaged as there were leaks from the ceiling. To be fair receptionist advised us that car park was not that comfortable.. DO NOT USE IT BECAUSE IT WILL RUIN YOUR STAY!
The hotel has potential, and it has nice rooms and a very good buffet breakfast. Clean hotel all around. Staff is nice. Good deals on Spa. Location is great also. And great views of the sea
Requested a double bed, but got 2 singles joined together, apparently the hotel doesn't have double beds which is a pity seeing that it was mostly filled with couples like us. I think it needs a bit more work to meet the 4 star status.
centrally located at the north of main island. various restaurants around. reasonable breakfast buffet
broken air conditioner with this summer heat( weak wifi. shower has poor construction, after taking one floor all covered with water and slippery. deeeep parking is very tight and short of places
Price and the piano.
Soul less location.
The wifi and the staff
All the rest: Beds are bad quality. Bathroom are old. Breakfast is the worth I ever had.
Really helpful staff; quiet, well appointed hotel; delicious choice for breakfasts; stunning views from the small town that is very pretty, and lots of good restaurants. Hotel pools (end August) were quiet and relaxing.
We never cracked the air conditioning settings. our small room was v comfortable and quiet (in the annexe) so this was the only drawback. It was swelteringly hot so we needed it, but the lowest setting seemed to be -15. So at night after a few hours we were woken up by the heat (we'd turned it off) or the cold (we'd put it on).
Everything - garden pool and rooftop pool, food is awesome, garden area is very nice, rooms are comfy. Location is in the north of the island ideal to go visit Gozo.
The staff is really friendly and professional. Great variety of restaurants, indoor and outdoor pools. Public transport buses stop in front of the hotel.
The walls are a bit thin.
Big and light room with side sea view Large and well-kept grounds Various breakfast and dinner, a good selection of main dishes
Far enough away from the beach Poor hygienic stuff in the bathroom, liquid soap was filled only once - that's all that was made in the bathroom for 17 days of our stay Salads for breakfast and dinner were disgusting Ants in the room
