the location Yes, they were closing down on the day we left, and had a crane out 3 days before, to take hotel rubble down. The breakfast was poor. |

Location good. Food ample, good value but not exceptional. Staff sometimes absent when needed but always friendly. Not a very good view from window, but inevitable some rooms should be like this in a city centre |

Position is excellent for sightseeing in Valletta. Staff were very welcoming and helpful - allowed us to leave bags when we returned from Gozo and had time before our flight. |

non-smoker hotel; close to main street as well as bus terminal; well situated to visit interesting sites of Valletta rooms to the back are not recommended, since several have only white tinted windows and an ugly view to the backyard, even you could see the sea when the windows were opened; beds in our room were rather old and worn out |

Wonderful location in a beautiful old building in the heart of the city. Bathroom was quite small, but well appointed and very clean. |

The Osborn is well located and the rooms are generally nice. As the location is within the older part of Velletta there is very little night noise. It was a very comfortable place to stay. The hotel was happy to allow us to keep one of our room longer for no extra charge as we had a later flight. Unfortunately our room had a leaky shower and the amentities were not very well located in the room - eg the television was on a wall where it was difficult to see from the bed. Our friends room was better set up. |

The newly refurbished room was tastefully decorated, with a welcoming atmosphere. We were also pleased by the polite and friendly staff and the total experience. For a three star hotel, there is no doubt that we definitely got our money's worth, and then some. We will recommend this hotel to others, especially for a short vacation in Valletta, Malta. |

The location near the main street, near the main bus station and near the meeting point for day tours. The room was big enough. The room and the bath had windows to a very narrow interior 'hole", full with pipes. The worst thing was the very strong smell of cigarettes in the room and in bathroom. In the first night , because of smell of the smoke, I could not sleep . However, our friend who had another room, had not these problems, so I suppose that this is not a attribute of the whole hotel, but only of some rooms. |

The best thing about the hotel is its location which is in the heart of Valletta and also it was clean and comfortable. We thought the breakfast was pretty awful. Breakfast was fortunately not included in the price we paid so we just went to a very pleasant cafe nearby after the first day so it was really not a problem. |

not very much to be honest the male receptionist was awful, we waited 20 minutes at reception before he turned up, then his attitude was not very nice, he acted as if we where an inconvience. the room was unclean, bedsheets dirty, bathroom dirty. no help what so ever when i called ahead for directions to hotel. generally unhelpful staff and dirty hotel. will not be staying again. |

The fact that it was within easy reach of all facilities including shopping and tourist attractions The en-suite bathroom was too small and looked tired and the room could have been bigger |

Good location in UNESCO site, however rooms were musty smelling & water leaking from AC onto a wet rug necessitated a room change, which the manager was very helpful with, while explaining that a renovation was planned for all rooms in the coming year. |

Near to Valletta town centre, good location. Welcoming, helpful staff at reception Quiet location away from noisy streets Clean and comfortable rooms with good airconditioning Comfortable beds Breakfast was just average. Some restaurant staff a bit grumpy Roof garden non existent, the area could be made into something special with a bit of effort |

The Osborne proved to be both comfortable and professionally run. Our room and the various public areas were clean and well maintained. We had dinner in the restaurant both evenings of our stay, taking advantage of a special offer, and were impressed with the standard of food. The hotel's location is another factor in its favour, being convenient not only for exploring Valletta, but also to the bus terminus and the ferry to Sliema. We were lucky to get one of the rooms with a balcony and had an atmospheric view down a steep side street to an historic church. We would happily recommend this hotel to others. |

The staff were very helpful and spoke good english. We ended up booking a Gozo tour. The location was also good, very close to the bus station and close to a main walking street. In our room we had 2 single beds, being a couple it would've been nice to hav 1 double bed. The shower/bath was a bit hard to get into, it was a bit small. |

Being so close to the main shopping area and some of the tourist sites.Quietness at night due to the fact no traffic is allowed in the center of the city. The receptionist was not at all welcoming. The next day there was a change of staff and they seemed happier and more helpful. |

We had a large bedroom, a/c, 5th floor with stunning balcony view. Everything was great. The roof top and inside top room was a bit dingy and the carpet needed to be replaced. |

The British is the longest established hotel in Valletta, and is located in a pleasant terraced street with views of the Grand Harbour. The rooftop restaurant serves traditional Maltese food. |
Grand Hotel Excelsior is located on the coast of Valletta and offers views of the nearby harbour and surrounding islands. The hotel is just outside the historic entrance to Valletta. |
The Bayview Hotel is set on the Sliema promenade overlooking the Marsamxetto harbour and the historical buildings of Malta’s capital, Valletta. |
Hotel Fortina is set in a quiet neighbourhood of Sliema, a 5-minute walk from the bus terminal and shops. It has a beautiful view of Valletta and many leisure facilities. |
