Great position

No free wi-fi, toilet space very confined

the friendliness of the staff and the good standards of hygiene of the hotel

were always asking for extra teabags as two teabags a day were our limit

Comfort

Food was the worst i have had in years. Great city during the day but VERY quite at nightime-even Friday night.

We were impressed by the service and the location was excellent. We got lots of help from the receptionist. The food was good value for money and good variety.

We would have liked better lighting in the room in the evenings.

Very clean and comfortable Staff very friendly. Charles and Noel exceptionally helpful and cheerful. Location for Valletta excellent.

Food a bit disappointing, not the variety available. The quality could be better. Presumably most is not cooked in the hotel. Some main dishes were tasteless. I overheard some guests say the same! But I still hope to come back.

Newly decorated, centrally located hotel, close to the historical sights, restaurants, cafes and the bus station serving all destinations on the island. We were assigned room 502, a corner room with windows on two sides overlooking the harbour, from which we could watch the sunrise each day. Friendly, helpful reception staff.

Excellent location, informative and friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms made us feel relaxed and enabled us to make the most of our stay in Malta.

Friendly staff; perfect location for looking around Valletta and catching buses to everywhere else. Not too far from Sliema ferry. Breakfast ok; evening buffet meal limited but not expensive. Our room was very clean, comfortable beds; plenty of storage (slightly oddly arranged so difficult to open wardrobe); had sideways view down towards Sliema. Appreciated kettle in room and variety of tv channels. Liked the little bar in the evening and the rooftop terrace.

Really only minor quibbles which we didn't take up with management: Whiffy drains in bathroom, which was also a bit cramped but adequate. Tea sachets weren't always replenished (we only used the peppermint tea, so we weren't being greedy!).

Everyone at the hotel, in fact everyone in Malta that we met were friendly, kind and extremely helpful at all times. The hotel was clean, the room (502) had a fabulous sea view and the location of the hotel was perfect for both exploring Valletta and using the excellent bus service to all other parts of the island.

Booked And Requested Room On 5th Floor With Vue Over Valletta 3rd January 2013 For 9th March 2013 In E-Mail Reply Verified On Arrival Given 1st Floor Room Facing Wall With No Vue Requested Alternative Given Bogus Information That Booking Manager Not Available Until Tuesday _ Wednesday 13-14 March Informing Us Nothing Else Vacant Although Customers Were Arriving And Leaving Did Not Get Back To Us Until Wednesday Evening With Only 2 Nights Remaining Poor Customer Relation From Both Manager & Reception Staff Giving Poor reasoning when we paid for half board not just breakfast or accomodation only like some people staying in better room allocation for just 2-3 days would not even give any discount for obvious error on their own admission for my partners birthday coincided with this holiday very disapionted not helpful and would not recomend for this reason

Staff were excellent, really friendly and helpful. We didn't eat at the hotel so I can't comment on the food. We had a room with a view which was beautiful and the bed was really comfortable. Our room was quiet and there's nothing to moan about apart from there bring a slight smell from the bathroom. The hotel is close to everything and is easy to get to as its near the bus station. Overall we had a fantastic stay.

Slight smell from the bathroom, but this did not affect how much we enjoyed out stay.

Excellent location, friendly staff, confortable rooms,quiet at night, relaxing lounge/bar, good breakfasts and dinners.

There was the noise of a boiler I think, I heard every 3 or 4 minutes at night, which kept me awake! But I did not disturb my friend in the next room. Rooms could have better insulated walls between them, but not too much of a problem...

Being diabetic, breakfasts need more diabetic friendly food. Porridge and sugar free yogurt would help + bananas. Shower cubicles could be bigger, especially as the bathrooms were huge! More soaps etc in bathrooms...only one bar of soap for 3 days and it was small. Towels need softener

Whenever we travel we book through booking.com and are guided by travellers' reviews. This was the first time that we were disappointed with our selection. We arrived at the hotel at noon and good a frosty reception. In no uncertain terms we were told that the Reception would be open only from 14.00h. However, we were allowed to leave our cases in the luggage room. The room later assigned to us (109) was very small. We queried if it was a standard room and were told that size was not a criteria. The manager was outright rude. The shower room was tiny. No shelves, only one tooth mug (fixed to the wall due to lack of space), and to use the toilet one had to have a fairly skinny and agile body. This environment did not lend itself to a relaxing stay.

Osborne Hotel is the perfect location for exploring the beautiful city of Valetta. We had a superior room with a sea view which was excellent in every way.
