Panorama Hotel

We arrived to find hotel shut for major building work. We could not even get to the front entrance. Local people said it had been like this for 3 weeks. Eventually located Manager who found us an alternative hotel and was extremely helpful & apologetic. Our previous visits have always been very enjoyable and friendly.

If it had been open we would have enjoyed our stay as on the three previous occasions.

I booked a room for 1 person for 2 nights. The room had no window (which was not declared when booking). Actually there was a window leading to some kind of evacuation shaft, extremely dirty and full of an disgusting smell from the kitchen. Air conditioning was not working (only generating some move of the air but not cooling). Bathroom cabin was about to disassemble. Awful experience, room temperature above 30c in the night, I resigned after first night. There are also better rooms but my experience was as described - kitchen cabinet at the room price. Avoid room 216 at all cost and be careful when booking. They are not declaring what you really get.

The view was great. I don't think this can be emphasized enough. it made up for alot of shortcomings. The staff were quite friendly and the entertianment was good. Its only a short bus ride to one of the biggest beaches in Malta and is very close to the shops and restaurants of Mellieha.

The pool area was very small and there was only two big umbrellas which made it difficult to get shade at the appropriate times. The breakfast was also very poor; it alternated between boiled eggs and bacon or scrambled eggs and sausages for breakfast. The food available for lunch was also quite poor.

Städpersonalen var trevlig och tillmötesgående!

Rummen är otroligt små, dåligt städade, air-condition som inte fungerar, inget tryck i duschen, duschdörren trillade av..ja, över lag gammalt och skabbigt.... mycket dålig frukost där maten och porslinet inte räckte till alla gäster...skitig pool, sönderslitna solstolar........ja, vi kan fortsätta i evigheter. Kort sagt; vi har rest över hela världen och kräver inte speciellt mycket, men detta var för oss det minst prisvärda hotell som vi besökt tidigare!

Rien nous avons détesté cet hôtel

Chambre avec vue sur travaux au lieu de vue sur mer, chambre de fumeur (toutes nos affaires sentaient la cigarette et impossible de dormir !!.) Chambre et hotel trés sales et vétuste. Petit déjeuner dégoutant et personnel peu acceuillant.
