Ei ehkä ****- hotelli. Varsinkin 5 h aparttomenttos ei vastannut ****- luokkaa. Sängyt tosi huonot samoin vuodesohva jossa ei voinut nukkua vaan nukuimme lattialla patjalla. Muuten kalustus ok.

Once problems with check in and the state of our room room had been resolved, staff were generally friendly and helpful. The hotel is reasonably well located, although the walk down to the beach is down a steep and busy road.

Arriving at 2.15pm with two small children, we were not able to check into our room until after 3pm, despite our reservation confirming that it should have been available from 2pm. During our wait, we were not offered any apology or drinks, and we were made to feel like we were being difficult when, after half an hour, we asked for an update. Not a good start. The room we were initially given was freezing cold (because of a one inch gap between the french windows and the wall) and the shower had no pressure at all. After a fairly miserable first night we were moved to a warmer (but much smaller) apartment. The pool is very chlorinated, making it difficult to swim in for any length of time without getting streaming eyes and nose.

It was extremely good value for money. The food was very good. We had a very good choice both for breakfast and for dinner.

We stayed in October in one of the one bedroom apartments with our nine month old baby and were impresed with it being a decent size, a new clean kitchen / lounge and two bathrooms! The facilities in the hotel - food / drink etc were very good and it was just a 2 minute walk to the main street in Mellieha with its shops bars and excellent restaurants. The beach (Mellieha Bay) was also a very easy five minute bus ride away. The pools were lovely, if a little cold in October and the staff were always helpful (even after we'd arrived quite late on our first evening they got some food together for us after room service had finished for the day). In addition the spa treatment we both had was excellent.

The decoration of the room was adequate and clean but not especially homely. The design of the hotel is a little odd, making it a bit difficult to navigate at times (but that's part of it's charm)!

This hotel is a great value for money in a fab location

I have rated the staff as fair as we had problems with our bill on checking out which was there mistake and they didnt even apologise -oherwise this would of been good.

Clean spacious room & bathroom and both spotlessly clean; large breakfast selection with quality food; family friendly especially recommended for families with small children; pleasant staff.

Room without a window so claustrophobic atmosphere; tiny tv at one end of room cannot be viewed from bed at other end; two small swimming pools for number of people present and really more wading that swimming ones; day users (i.e. not regular hotel guests) tend to monopolize pools.

i,have always liked the look of the pergola its handy for beaches,buses, and resterants, including the pergola.

One bed appt more spacious than most. Indoor seating area by balcony a bonus. Public areas exceptionally clean. Nice to have sofas, bookshelves dotted around. Spacious feel. Exceptional value when booked through this website. Location excellent for all restaurants, shops in village but away from main road meant not noisy.

As other guests have noted (eg Tripadvisor) they are keen to sell extras. Seems common in Malta now. Welcome meeting is a 'way in' to try and get you on rci presentation. If you are interested in 5-20 years of hotel accom. It's a cheap way in as Pergola and Solana are the only 4 star hotels in the scheme. However, if you are not interested be firm, the hour is more like 2!

Poor restaurant.

Väldigt trevlig personal i reception. Den kvinna som satt i reception dagen efter vår ankomst, gjorde allt för att vi skulle bli nöjda och för att få ett annat boende på hotellet. Vilket hon verkligen lyckades med, vi kunde köpa upp oss till en lägenhet med havsutsikt, där vi bodde mycket bra.

Vårt första rum var ett kombirum, väldigt lyhört pga att det var en dörr mellan rummen . Det var kallt i det rum vi fick sedan pga av norrläge, men rummet var mycket fint.

Trevligt mindre poolområde med bistro/bar. Bra läge i Melliha nära busshållplats. Promenadavstånd till Melliha bay och stranden men även täta bussturer eftersom det var brant uppför hem igen.

Fläkten i ett av rummen fungerade ej, vi ringa till receptionen flera gånger för att få det åtgärdat och rummet städat efter reparation.

La proximité des bus, des magasins et des restaurants. La piscine super.

Notre studio ne comportait qu'une seule fenêtre au salon. Sinon imposte aux wc, cuisine et surtout chambre à coucher! Les draps puaient et une odeur de moisi plânait partout. Très sombre partout sauf au salon.

avrei preferito una maggiore animazione serale ma probabilmente l'hotel cerca di offrire la massima tranquillità ai propri ospiti
