The food & Charles was excellent. Location. Efforts by duty manager to fix problems. The stained bed sheets. Poor pillows. Faulty doors to balconies. No drinking water in rooms. Effort to upgrade to include dinner for final night resulted in receptionist giving me a coupon to use & when I used it was accused by female restaurant manager that I was cheating as I had already used a discount coupon. This accusation in presence of other dinners. This soured my whole stay at the hotel. |

The staff were very pleasant and helpful; when we had a problem (see below) it was solved -at 3.00am-quickly and with no fuss Obviously used by some student groups who sat on the landing and chatted until 3.00 am in spite of being asked to go into rooms by both ourselves and Duty Manager.. On the third night we couldn't stand it any longer (I was there for a conference and had to be up early!) and I went to Reception and asked to move rooms for the remainder of our stay. |

Good location, friendly staff. Value for money Our room was situated on the first floor, next to the stair well, opposite the lift and above the kitchen which made it very noisy particularly early mornings and late nights. The hotel was old and the decor and furnishings were a little tired. |

Reception staff were nice. Breakfast was decent. I would describe the hotel as 2 star or less. There are much much better 3 star hotels for same price in Sliema and St Julians. Walls are paper thin, sheets were not changed, tiny room, barely a window, no shower curtain and towels were cardboard. It was by far the worst hotel I stayed in whilst in Malta. |

In the bathroom, every day the floor was flooded with water and we asked to fix and they told us they did but nothing was changed. Kettle of the room was oxidated and it was impossible to use it. Towels and sheets had holes. There were cockroaches in our friends' rooms. Bath gel nor tea were not prepared from the second day. |

location was quite nice. It was very difficult to find a hotel at first and I took a taxi from Sliema area and paid about EUR15 for like only 5 minutes ride... |
