the staff was very friendly, choice of breakfast was excellent, the position of the hotel was good, near the sea and Plevna Lido...

the furniture in rooms is a bit old :-(

Small room, old fashioned room and bathroom, just a few tv channels on historic tv set with poor signal reception. Juices served at breakfast sometimes like dishwater. Missing tea/coffee spoons at breakfast.

Great location. Also near bus route to airport and coast and also couple minutes walk to sliema ferries. Staff were great, seconds from the sea and free wifi in reception. decent breakfast too. Thoroughly recommended.

Staff was great! Yuyang Dang is a great asset to the hotel! Location was great for shopping as well as all the boats that tour the island. Close by a lot restaurants and walking pathetic along the water.

Pool wasn't open until may, but looked great, down near water, block from hotel.

I could stay in Malta with a comfortable hotel. 1. Staffs are very kind ,f.e. when I asked them how to go somewhere, they told me with pleasure. 2. Breakfast was tasty , in addition, restaurant staff,cooks are also kind. 3. Laundry service was very useful for me. and I had a room clean service everyday. 4. The room was a traditional design, and it made me relaxed.

The facility was a little aged at the same time its traditionality. 1. a Window inside a bathroom 2. a Curtain rail But, as soon as I requested staffs to fix them, they updated my room facilities.

Good location - close to the bus stop and the Sliema Ferries area. Very good price.

Bathroom could have been cleaner. We couldn't get the air conditioning to work which meant the room was slightly cold.

A very good central location for buses and ferries to all parts. 5 minutes by ferry to Valletta and its central bus hub. Airport bus just down the road. Bus to port for Gozo 2 minutes away.Very good varied selection of hot and cold for breakfast.

Poor bathroom. Mouldy, and hot water very slow to arrive and not too hot when it did.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and engaged. Excellent buffet-breakfast. Good value for the money. We`ll defnitely stay at Plevna another time.

The staff were excellent, knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel is in a good location, close to the beach, the town and to bus stops.

This was a three star hotel, but I expected a little better for my money. The hotel was tired around the edges, the fixtures and fittings in the rooms were poor quality. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, but not to the standard I would have preferred.

- Hotel is on a quiet sidestreet between Tower Road and the ferry dock. - Huge breakfast buffet: cereal, pancakes, sausages, eggs, beans, fruit, toast, various juices and coffees, etc. - Room includes fridge and coffee/tea.

- Must pay to access WiFi in room, but free WiFi is available in the comfortable lobby. - Replenishment of toiletries and coffee supplies in room was hit and miss.

Free wifi in the lobby and in the lounge on the first floor (paid wifi available in the rooms) was essential for me, as I hadn't planned anything from home. The reception staff was amazing! I got a horrible room at first, but had it switched without any charges or frowning. The location is priceless (if you can find it at first). 100 meters (328 feet) to the nearest bus stop with a dozen bus routes, so you can get anywhere anytime! Including Valetta in 20-25 minutes. Also, it's only 350 meters (0.2 miles) to Malta's biggest shopping mall, The Point, and less than 1 km (0.6 miles) to Sliema's main shopping streets and supermarket.

The level of cleanliness varied a lot from day to day (from nice and clean to not so nice and clean, if not a little dirty). I suspect that it was because of different cleaners. Cleaning started quite early one day (around 9 am), which was actually rather uncomfortable for me. One of the last days I got a fresh towel with a big brown stain on it, and I don't think it was spilled coffee... The first room I got - 316, which I (thank God!) had switched to 201 after two nights - was horrible because of the noise at night. It faces the back yard with what seems to be where the entire neighborhood stores their ventilator systems. 316 is also directly opposite one of the elevators which, fortunately, wasn't too busy (could be due to the off-season). The hotel layout in general reminds me of Faulty Towers with some steps here and some steps there, and it's quite confusing at first. Not too handicap friendly.

Staff helpfull and friendly. Not pretending to be anything but a nice local hotel.
