I found everything about it very satisfactory. The location was magnificent, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the value for our Superior Room was amazing, the breakfast was very good, the Piano Bar in the afternoon/evening and the Sky Lounge late on were very relaxing though obviously very quiet at this time of the year. All in all a very good experience and I would love to return. Nothing really. The lack of a car park was a little problem but it just took a little effort to find parking nearby. However, having visited Malta twice now, I wouldn't bother with a car the next time, particularly considering how easy and cheap it is to travel to Valetta, St Julian's Bay and Paceville by bus.

Viewing the sea from the room. Good breakfast. A nice skylounge with very good cocktails. The interior of the rooms was a little bit out of date.

I really liked the Hotel location, close to the beach and the city center? The rooms are a bit basic and do not match with the pictures on the hotel website. They were also working in the building next to the hotel, which brought a lot of noise, and we did not have electricity for 1 whole day/evening.

Breakfast is nice but since most of the guests would stay more than one night,it would be nicer if there is any variance for breakfast,at least the bacon items should have more change;otherwise after two days it became boring any more. 1.The deco in the room is too old-fashioned and uncomfortable,it has many crappy Corners... 2.Service personnel at breakfast is not nice, some certain staff really does not smile to the guests at all and it reduces much reputation of this hotel. I suggest personnel should receive more professional training.

The twin rooms were very spacious and clean. The food was of a high standard and plenty of choice. Although pool was across the road soon got used to it. Great to be able to go directly into sea from lido. Position was good for buses and water taxis. Plenty of good and reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Staff very helpful. Lifts were a bit "cranky" - and one seemed to repeatedly break down. Noisy at night sometimes but to be expected on sliema waterfront hotel...

I really could not fault the Preluna in any way. The breakfast was very good, the spa facilities brilliant, free Internet which we had no problem with, a great freshwater pool close by. OK this is over the road but actually in a great spot next to the ocean. Bus stops in all directions immediately outside the hotel and lots of good restaurants close by. We were upgraded at no cost to a superior ocean view room so our stay could not have been bettter. The reception staff were extremely helpful. Although we checked out at 11.00am we were able to use all the facilities right up to our time of departure - 8.00pm. I can well recommend this hotel to anyone.

Beds were comfortable, which says a lot since i've found that is not the norm for european hotels. Close to beach/pool, although the pools shown in hotel photo are not the pools that belong to the hotel. Nice sea view from our room. Noisy!! They are building a new tower adjacent to the preluna and this was not disclosed. Loud constuction every morning but sunday, begins about 0630. the hotel did nothing to accommodate a room change, despite our complaints. Staff not empowered to handle issues or knowledgeable of local restaurants or directions. Hotel shows its age - photos on website do not accurately portray room condition. Spa is a complete disappointment, only one person on staff; appointments were impossible. Chose this hotel for location and spa, disapointed all around.

I can't say I liked anything best. Its a fairly standard tourist hotel, very tired lifts take forever but thats normal in most continental hotels. Room: Noisy, thin walls, dusty behind doors and on top of mirror. The air conditioning might as well not be there and is too noisy to leave on anyway, the ceiling fan, whilst mor effective, was just as noisy. Japanese cafe in daytime: Staff surly, you find them and they'll serve you eventually, I was the only customer at the time and they knew I was there they just carried on chatting!! Breakfast:They use orange squash at breakfast or diluted juice, dreadful and not what you would expect anywhere!! Italian restaurant: Overpriced rubbish, I had Spaghetti Carbonara and when I said the chef had curdled the cream by getting it too hot I was told thats way Italians cook it, no apology, no replacement. Overall this is not a place I will stay at again, I have been to Malta for the past 4 years and have not experienced this lack of courtesy and service from restaurant staff anywhere, its almost as if they think they are doing you a favour letting you stay at a cheaper rate outside of the main season

The breakfast buffet is big and of a fine quality. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There is entertainment every evening and some of it is quite fine. The pool and the facilities surrounding it next to the sea are good. The noise from the street facing the sea. The room decoration is not 4- star quality. To a certatin degree it looks old and worn out. After paying quite enough for the week, it is annoying to be asked to pay extra for the use of a safe (being very necessary when the balcony door cannot be closed properly). The hot steam room did not work so the name "Preluna Hotel and spa" is based on the fact that there is a small indoor pool and a sauna. Using the fitness facilities and having massages, however, is possible but will cost you more.

Very beautiful position. Easy to visit Valletta. Breakfast is also good. Beautiful view if you stay in high floor. The common areas are ok, but the camera is not at the level of a 4* hotel.

it positioned in a convenient location, with public transport right at the door and making it easy to catch a bus to different parts of the island. There are some good restaurants located around the hotel adn the beach club is good. The building is old, even the so called ´renovated or new´ part of the hotel is still old. From what i could see, it seems like a hotel booked by senior tour companies.

I liked the reception staff who changed our room very quickly the next day from the terrible one that we were in. We were put in a terrible family room on our first night which upset me, especially as it is not a very cheap hotel. In fact the room was rather like a prison with very loud noise coming from cranes at 6:30 in the morning. Also they charged me a couple of months in advance to me actually staying at the hotel. It attracts a rather elderly crowd.

Location in the Centre of Sliema and the beach Lido. We were booked into the wrong room in error and not offered any assistance in relocating - we just had to carry all our stuff up to the new room.
