There is no beach but the hotel is right on the sea front and almost right in front of the bus stop--but do ask directions because I walked a long way past it looking for a non-existent hotel sign. You won't get a better position for the price, and I would definitely go back there. If you use the restaurant, be sure to ask exactly what is in the dishes you order: the menu didn't mention rice in the prawn starter I ordered, but it turned out to be the main ingredient, which was a pity because for my main course I'd chosen risotto. |

San Andrea is a clean modern looking hotel right on the promanade in Xlendi and is very well presented and cared for, sitting out on the promanade to have breakfast or an evening meal is a delight. The room I had was at the side of the hotel but with a balony which still gave me a sea view. The room although not large is fine and along with the badroom are in excellent order and very clean. The air con is good and not too intrusive or noisy. The restaurant is well worth eating at and the breakfast spread is good with a full English option if you crave the bacon and eggs. Recommended. Xlendi is great for doing little or walking the cliffs around the village. An hourly bus costing 50 cents take you into Victoria, the capital. Try it and stay. There is some noise but little the hotel can do about that from a dive centre outside the hotel, clanking as gas bottles are loaded on the vans etc and the bin men arrive at 6.30 am on a Sunday morning!!! |

Great location, kind staff, good value for money. And an appreciable extra is its excellent restaurant, simply the best of Xlendi. I suggest to skip the hotel "lunch pack" available, it absolutely does not worth the money. Very disappointing especially when you know the quality of the hotel's restaurant. |

The location of the hotel is excellent and the proximity to the sea. The road is close to the hotel and cars are driving since early morning. Sometimes is a bit noisier... |

The room was small but very comfortable and well appointed, with a lovely view of the bay - it is worth paying more for a sea view. The continental breakfast was also very nice. The shower head and curtain needed replacing |

hotel staff was very friendly, location is perfect, -hotel had the best breakfast in Malta- which I tried in Maltain 2 weeks room was quite small, at evening - too much noise from Bar dowstairs |

Compared to the other hotels I stayed at, this one had a good selection of international tv channels,and good WLAN coverage. Maybe the size of the room.... And no refrigerator in the room. |

It was very central to Xlendi. The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The room we stayed in overlooked the water, and the promenade (which was fantastic) but it was rather noisy. The hotel would benefit from some double glazing to block the noise out. |

Hotel is close to sea in silent place. Staff was friendly. Our room had nice seaview. Price for room was reasonable (we were there in end of February when there were not many tourists) |

The hotel is squeaky clean, has extraordinary sea views and a great restaurant, and its location on gorgeous Xlendi Bay makes it the best three star hotel my wife and I have ever experienced. Although the rooms are small, the area is so beautiful that we spent most of our time outside, wandering the trails along the rocky cliffs. We loved the San Andrea and its welcoming staff. |

The hotel was great value, the rooms are newer than the more expensive St. Patricks next door. The restaurant was 1st class and bar cheap. |

Très bon accueil, une vue superbe pour les chambres "vue mer", et un super bon restaurant ! au mois de novembre, très bon rapport qualité /prix, avec un beau temps et du calme. Certainement moins de calme en été car il est au bord de la mer et sur les resto et café du bord de mer. Super coin de Gozo pour se baigner ! Le tarif de la connexion internet ! |
