Great balcony overlooking Sea Great location
Didn't like pillows, too hard, lumpy
Clean, has 2 lifts, just a short walk from the ferry to/from Valletta, cheap wifi in room
Ferry to/from Valletta finishes in the late afternoon, so you need to get a bus, but the bus stop is right outside the hotel, so not too bad. Lobby and computer area is small. The breakfast is only so-so, but it is convenient.
Almost everything : very good bed, clean room and bathroom, nice breakfast.
Garden chairs on balcony need replacement.
staff was very friendly and helpfull
boring breakfast, boss of hotel didn't replay for request, no wifi in rooms, shower to repair
Location as it's near to buses
Room was dirty Not even a hand towel in room Quilt was dirty Breakfast was not up to standard at all Prices went up definitely service is hideous
Spent 3 nights here and can say that it was absolutely great! I asked for high floor room, but everything was booked so I had 2nd floor but the seaview it's amazingamazingAMAZING even from here! Room is nice, comfortable beds, clean bathroom. Staff is very friendly and may give you all information you need. Malta is special place with it's own atmosphere - you MUST visit it and choose Sliema chalet with no doubts!
You can arrive directly from the airport and go to the ferry terminal to Gozo and Valetta by bus. A bus stop is just next to the hotel. I booked here for two nights but I eventually extended two more nights. A free wifi is on the 7th floor and it is strong. The public place is comfortable and clean. Great value for the money and everything what I needed was here. 私は11月に訪れたのでオフシーズンだったためか、とても安く泊まれました。部屋は綺麗です。スタッフはフレンドリーですが最低限しかしてくれないので、バスの路線などは自分で調べましょう。安いこと考慮すると本当オススメです！
- dark, claustrophobic room - window with the view of the wall 2 meters far away - poor bathroom - archaic lift which you don't know if it goes down or stops between levels or if it runs at all - you hear everything through the doors, if you're unlucky to other partying guests on the same level your night is sleepless
This was a great hotel to spend a day in Sliema after a quiet week on Gozo: the bus from the ferry stopped right in front of the hotel and also the bus to the airport. There is a rooftop terrace to lay in the sun as well as being walking distance from nice shops and a shopping mall.
Location of the hotel is great and if my less positive comments are not relevant to your stay then again it is a great location with everything within 5 mins walk eg ferry across some highly recommended restaurants, supermarket and the promenade on door step
If you pay the extra for the view with balcony then please make sure then the higher the better as the noise of the buses and vans does not make for quiet relaxation. Roof terrace would be great but then again air con vents so noisy
you get more than you pay for, or at least what you pay for most of the staff is very helpfull
not very high standard
Position of the place,Convienet for the busses which you can go where ever you wish to go on the Island.Lots of resturants, even excent board walk where you can exercise.Best place to relax.Matilda simler.
Quete modest hotel with a good surroundings. Many good caffes and restorants over. The personnel is friendly and the sea is very close and very clean on this side.Close to Valletta.Low price.
On is ok for this money
Great location, friendly and helpful staff, very good cleaning service. Wonderful seaview from the balcony. I had a great stay there.
When sleeping at night with open balcony door, the noise (buses on the main street) was sometimes quite high. But this is not a fault of the hotel, of course. :)
View. Roof terrace. Breakfast.
Noise: bedroom 3 m from street and bus stop. No good chair to sit in. No fridge.
View and efficient staff
Sea view location.Convient to bus stops.
There was no Bar in the hotel. There were no evening meals served as the restaurant was closed.Only open for breakfast. The breakfast food selection was poor.I had a very small single room with sea view.I would not recommend this hotel.Only one change of towel during the seven days. £60 per day Bed and Breakfast.
I had a room on the 3rd floor with a balcony and sea view, was beautiful to sit out in the morning and evening. Public bus stop almost at the front door made travel easy. Plenty of places to choose to eat from.
bed was a little too firm for my liking, but got used to it.
Very good location and lovely team.
Breakfast was a bit above average. Location was superb. Most members of staff were exceptionally helpful and polite. Convenient to bus routes. Nice top floor terrace, but lacking amenities.
The bed was cobbled together and the bottom sheets did not stay in place. A thin mattress was tossed on two twin beds to make a full-sized bed and it was too thin and the sheets, as mentioned above, failed to stay in place. One member of staff was not competent enough in English to help me or another gentleman asking basic questions. The lowest setting for the over-bed fan was Mach 2. Wifi was only in the lounge. The top floor lounge had no services. Very low pressure in the shower.
Superb venue, excellent and friendly staff. Great value for money.
Rooms provided on room only basis instead of B&B.
Location, view, staff
All the time the same things for breakfast. Bathroom needs immediate renovation, no hair dryer in the room, no fridge.
the ocean view and the staff who solved the problem and answered us gentlely when needed
the problem of booking a room and being obliged to change after 1 night to have the good one (clean and almost acceptable interior design)
Close to the area which we planned to stay in and close to facilities.
Occasionally dodgy lift and erratic electric supply from keycard slot. Receptionists were a little off handed and not as welcoming as you might expect from a hotel.
waking to amazing sea view & balcony was awesome. Room & bathroom was spacious. staff were all polite, friendly and efficient great restaurants, bus lines, shopping all within walking distance. Being able to walk along the promenade at 9-10 at night safely...busy but not at all noisy. breakfast was basic and sufficient. lift provided.
bedding- mattress was bigger than base and sheet did not cover it well. Bedspread was two singles instead of one king/queen. internet only available in rooms for a small cost but on that note it is available free of charge on the 7th floor in lounge.
