Friendliness of the front desk staff. Efficiency of the air conditioning. Tea Coffee making facilities. Fridge
Inconsistency of the room maid topping up the bathroom accessories, i.e.: facial tissues. The shower head was like a needle spray instead of drenching. Water was running rusty when filling the bath tub. Shower curtain very amateurishly fitted and so lots of flooding onto bathroom floor. TV with very minimum channel selection. No satellite channels. The room safe was not safe at all. It did not serve its purpose. Tried to have it fixed but to no avail.
Nothing. Will never come back
Dirty, noisy, very expensive for what it is. Cigaret holes in the bed. Bathroom from the 60's. Dusty. I booked 2 nights, slept only a few hours the first night (room hyper humid with no window) and did not even stay the second night. Pictures do NOT reflect reality. Thank you booking.com !
The location was perfect. Right in the thick of it but not noisy. We stayed on a 5th floor and once downstairs there was an array of eating places at reasonable prices. Straight across the road was the harbour for ferries and day trips so there was always something different happening. Valletta was just a very short, well priced ferry trip away, good for shopping although there were shops all around our hotel and within walking distance, a reasonably up market mall. All manner of Tours/Trips could be booked just across the road. Take your camera, scenery is fantastic. Recommend the Blue Grotto Cave.
We didn't allow the disinterested attitude of the Receptionist who checked us in mar our thoughts of the property, she was an isolated case as all other staff, particularly Pierre were excellent as was our housemaid Mira. A mirror is needed in the bedroom where one can see to dry ones hair. A minor criticism but it would be helpful.
Brilliant view and location Close to ferries and buses, restaurants and swimming
Perfect location. Excelent view from terrace where you have breakfast. Very very close to bus stations where you can easily travel to valetta, st julian, mdina and airport . You can even walk to St. Julian. Clean room and moderate breakfast.
The room and bathroom was a bit small.
The concierge was extremely rude and patronising. The jacuzzi facility was freezing cold, breakfast was extremely poor with very few options and sandy cucumber! The lifts broke down on a daily basis, I was staying on the fifth floor so this became a major inconvenience. All in all terrible service and completely over priced. Extremely unhappy.
Despite having paid in full a month previously, on arrival I was downgraded to an inferior room. The room to which I was diverted overlooked a building site and was the closest room to a striking church clock. The following day I had to re-pack and move to the room, with seaview and balcony, which I had specified.
Friendly staff Clean rooms
room without light
A balcony overlooking the harbour. worth paying extra for. Ease of catching public transport, buses/ferry. Magnificent views from the top floor breakfast room, and from our balcony. Exceptionally cheap public transport, 1.5 Euros all day anywhere transport. Plenty of eateries withing easy reach. We particularly liked La Rive, where the service and food was excellent.
Slow service at busy times for the 2 small lifts. OK if one is fit enough to walk up to the top floor for breakfast. Deplorable service on the Hop on/Hop off bus, left us stranded in Mosta, despite 3 phone calls. Don't hire a car here. We cancelled ours after seeing how difficult parking would be.
staff were very helpful at all times
it was disappointing that the elevator kept on breaking down but we just laughed
If you like to see Valletta's nice scenery it's perfect place to stay. Seaview rooms have really great Valletta scenery. Location is great. There are nice cafes and restaurants near to the hotel. And very near to bus stops. Malta Public Transportation is cheap and you can find bus anywhere you want. Rooms are very clean and well prepared. Terrace of hotel is also nice.
Elevators are a bit old. It can get out of order time to time, get ready for it. Wi-fi is not much strong in some rooms, I couldn't connect inside of the room (room 205) but it gets strong when i just go out to corridor :) Rooms at back of the hotel hasn't got any scenery. Nowadays there's construction at back.
Location and balcony view.
Damp patch on wall and bottom sheet too small for king size bed.
180 degree Harbar View in Hotel Bakery。
Not thing .
Elevators. Cleanliness. Beds. Expensive for what you got.
No fridge.no tea or coffee in room
The staff was great answered all my questions very nicely. They held our luggage on our last day. Location was good in that there are bus stops right outside. But the nearby taxi stand will try to rip you off. They charged us 15 euros to st Julian and 40 for Cirkewwa.
The furniture is like ikea furniture and the bathroom, elevator, hallways were all outdated and old. But the ac was and shower were fine so for the money I think it wasn't too bad.
The location was quite good but we would have been better off staying in Valetta because we went in there by bus everyday.
Our room was very small. The TV didnpt really work. The door to the en-suite was hanging off one of its three hinges. The lifts were constantly struggling to operate. The booking in time of 3pm is a problem for travelers arriving on the morning ferry from Pozzala. We had to wait for two hours to get into the hotel.
a tiny room with a window in an air shaft that does not let in any natural light (never mind a view of something/anything) referred to as an "economy room" at Euro 91.- per night is not 'economy'. the room decoration of grey and black just adds to the depression - totally overpriced!
The staff is great. Also cleanness of the rooms is above expectations. Location is also very good.
The hotel is kinda outdated, or at least the room we stayed in, needs a refurbishment. The breakfast could be better, but the view from the breakfast room makes it worth.
Room View amazing size of balcony Friendly staff members
Shower head and basin poor Lifts need overhaul and new illuminated indictions of floor levels. Balcony furniture basic and no cushions for sunbed. Cooler but no real fridge. Storage basic room only basis for 2 weeks in September was expensive.
The location was good. My choice of room was not good but they tried to accommodate.
Perfect location, clean and tidy. Perfect WiFi signal everywhere incl. in the rooms.
Noisy air conditioning systems, small windows, bad lighting - obscure rooms.
Centrally located, great staff, nice rooms with fantastic views of Valetta.
- amazing view from the top floor restaurant - good breakfast - big room ( with view on the sea) - very clean - excellent WiFi
- jacuzzi was turned off in the evenings so you couldn't use it
