Sea view and location The breakfast room was dull and boring. The quality of food and choice was very limited. It was very cold in our hotel room and in breakfast room as it was the coldest February in twenty seven years. The central heating none exitstant.

Good location Poorly maintained hotel, poor heating system, sparse rooms with old blankets. The hotel is well located, but that's all. Avoid a wide berth, never more ...

I spent 5 nights at the New Tower Palace Hotel and it surpassed my expectations. For a 3 star hotel, the location was fantastic. I had a sea view balcony and had only to cross the road to the sea which was fabulous. The hotel staff - Connie, in particular, were very pleasant and eager to help. The room and bathroom were spotless and the towels were soft, too. Food was good. I would certainly recommend this hotel with it's very central location, close to shops and restaurants. The bus stops were just outside the hotel. I was not told about the tv control on arrival - one has to leave a deposit as they tend to be stolen! The fridge in my room was broken - and seemed to have been so for some time.

The New Tower Palace Hotel is ideally situated in the very heart of Sliema. It is easily accessible and close to the capital city, airport, main attractions, shopping etc. The Hotel room and facilities were excellent as was the food. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and will certainly choose this accommodation on my next trip. J Lloyd

I stayed over there, but could not found good basic services, which any tourist can expect. Basic facilities means to cleaniness of washroom, provide air conditioner services, TV remote, clean bad sheets, etc. Despite my complaint to hotel management, they refused to provide 24 hours air conditioner services, clean white bad sheets etc. I would request you to please remit my 50% hotel expenses, and don't include in your list for future bookings. The management were not cooperative. If you would like to include this hotel name, please must mentioned in web site, which facilities are available. I hope your management will take serious action. Regards, Syed Mohammad Jaffar

Brilliant placement in Sliema between Valetta and Paceville, several nice restaurants and the shopping street of Sliema not to far away. Not very service friendly personnel. Asked for iron upon arrival late afternoon, and was told I could get it in the morning. Asked what they could do and later received the iron with no iron board. Had a couple of similar requests rebuffed.

location , could not have been better, the pool was good. the cleaning was inadequete, the so called balconies were a joke as only 1 person could very uncomfortably sit there as it only had 1 funny looking thing made out to be a chair, the shower was absolutly useless as you had to hold it as it had a mind of its own and went everywhere except on you,the sheets are too small but i knew this from previous comments from other people, the breakfast ,well now lets see ,according to my booking it was inclusive of full english ,not so ,you had to pay 5 or 6 euros for the pleasure otherwise a boring continental was what you got.the lifts ,well there are 2 but only 1 worked and not very well ,so value for money ,a big no.lucky this hotel is being pulled down next year otherwise it would probably fall down ,sorry did i not mention the massive cracks on the brickwork outside our room , check for yourself , room 304.and if this room was superior i would like to know to what ,fawlty towers maybe? it was a joke

It's a small hotel, but the view and the pool on the roof is nice. The staff was nice, with one exception. The air con is a joke, no refrigerator in the room and a mediocre breakfast. One guy on the night shift wanted to charge me 2.5 eur per day for wi-fi, a service that was free for customers when I asked again next day.

The location. The hotel is quite old and feels in need of a face lift. One elevator wasn't working and another was old and shabby. The breakfast food was quite dry. Similarly, the staff were quite unfriendly as when asked to call a specific taxi company they did not have the number but in fact only called enquiries when pushed by a local maltese resident friend.
