The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff Yes - we were on the 4th floor next to several rooms occupied, we later discovered, by a wedding party who were shouting, screaming, banging doors etc until 2.30 am in the morning. We feel management should be more in control to be more aware of this kind of happening. The lift to the restaurant is very noisy and for the second time in 3 months we were told the credit card machine was not working although when we insisted the machine worked!!!!! Also the general appearance of the decor needs to be improved e g signs with room numbers missing. |

The bar man was probably the best person I encountered at the hotel - really friendly - they should clone him to replace the rest of the staff For a 4 star hotel - I had no a/con (even when I told them about it, they didn't fix it), the toilet didn't flush (granted they did sort this out), you heard the swimming pool pump going every night, food was very average, staff were absolutely rude - just made you feel horrible for staying at the hotel. Just a really dissapointing experience, esp since it was supposed to be a 4 star |

The Location and the food. The towel railings in the bathroom was hanging on it's last screw. The shower hose was frayed, the lifts did not work properly & were very slow. The star rating of this hotel should be Two and not Four. |

Its proximity to Valetta; all staff (except for one) were excellent and very helpful; full buffet breakfast - loads of choice; room size was very good; room was very clean The convoluted access to our room (125) which involved going up to floor two then going back down to floor 1 via a different set of stairs/lift. The hotel was set back one road from the main esplanade and views consisted of the buildings across the street; leisure facilities were somewhat on the miniature side, though to be fair, we didn't use them at all, just looked over them; street noise very early in the morning |

Excellent location to the main promenade of sliema, hospitality of front desk staff, general ambiance It's a pity the signs that show the numbers of the different rooms when you get to your floor are not complete and makes it confusing as to which direction one needs to proceed |

El personal era en general bastante amable. El hotel esta muy cerca del paseo a borde del mar. Desayuno de poca calidad. El baño esta para reformar. Instalaciones antiguas y con deficiencias. Es un hotel para pasar poquitos dias. |

Har svårt att finna något som var direkt bra mer än relativt centralt läge i Sliema på Malta Hotellet håller inte 4 stjärning standard. På sin höjd 3- eller 2 +. Hela tiden fanns en doft av mögel i rummet. För att kunna vistas där var vi därför tvunga att hela tiden ha balkongdörren öppen, även nattetid. Någon fläkt eller kylanordning gick igång med jämna mellanrum. Det var ett fasligt oväsen. Lakana byttes inte en enda gång under en veckan. Duschdraperi saknades varför det blev vått på golvet. Duschmatta saknades. Det syntes tydliga spår på golvet att smusigt vatten brukade använas vid avtorkning eftersom det fanns svarta fläckar vid alla kanter. Nyckelkortet blev obrukbart redan kl 11 trots att det av beställningen framgår att rummet disponerdes till kl 12. |
