Room was quiet. The lift was excellent. Internet fast and reliable. Hotel very central to main shopping streets.
Okay for overnight, but a bit small for two people who are staying longer.
most of it
The bed, it was crazy. Ppl who designed the sleeping room made it too small to fit a regular bed. I'm a medium sized man but the 175*140 bed (I looked for the sign under it) forced me to sleep with half of the legs outside it. Please Monica fix this to create a fantastic place. Maybe rotating it on 90 degree may allow you to fit a decent mattress.
The location is great the building is beautiful
An infestation of ants in the kitchen i had no food with me... They were in the kitchen when i got back that night and i had to empty my case and shake out all of my clothes in the morning.. There is no swimming pool it is a large plunge pool two strokes from end to end. I called the Merisi Suites and they didnt apologise. Not good enough.
Location and helpful staff
Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing too much trouble. Dealt with problems immediately. Beautiful historic building - marvellous stone-work. Spacious apartment with walk-in robe, and very reliable lift. Access to sky news. Great location.
Fairly uncomfortable couch. Weak wi-fi link.
To discover the true beauty of Valletta you need to be out and about early or late when the streets are not clogged with cruise ship visitors. Merisi Suites has you right at the heart of all that's best in Valletta. Everything is clean and compact and visually attractive. The suites are mod-con in an age-old building; a sensitive restoration. It's a good spot for visitors who want to visit, not hang about too much.
Things are a bit tight and guests on the lower floors might find the lack of natural light a little off-putting as most rooms look out onto an inner courtyard. Sheets are changed only every 7 days; insufficient in a city where the nights can be hot.
In the heart of Valetta, great place to stay, clean and cosy. Helpful staff.
To soft mattress, you have feeling that you will hit the ground when you lie on it and when turning the person next to you moves with you up and down.
Good central location and clean place, very quiet, plenty of free public parking.
Too small apartment and small double bed. Walls leak when rains and bathroom drains a little malodorous.
Great design and décor using traditional stone structure. Five minute walk from main POIs, but in quiet street. Self catering facilities excellent - home from home.
Mattress could have been more comfortable.
Our fridge wasn't working, it was fixed when we got back in the evening, super service!
very old house but modern appartments so comfortable.
No view to he city.
Excellent location Picked up from airport Good amenities Reliable wifi
Small bathroom Couch not very comfortable
The location in the lovely city of Valletta and the apartment we had was quite spacious with everything we needed - a safe, comfortable bed, airconditioning, free Wi-Fi, a lift and a well equipped kitchen. This was very good value accommodation in the heart of a lovely city.
Small thing - the floors needed more attention with the cleaning,
Can't point anything particular because we liked all, bedroom, kitchen, sitting area, amenities and cleanliness, everything was good and satisfied our expectations.
Only that one has to go through quite a number of street stairs to reach it.
Excellent location in the center of Valletta. Nice interior of the yard and apartment in the historical building.
Dust was on the surfaces in kitchen and bathroom. Fridge was not clean. Canalisation in the bathroom was blocked and problem was not solved even after notification to administration. Bedclothes were not changed during a week. Pricy, but poor price-quality ratio.
This place was really beautiful and in a quiet street. Very close to some nice bars and some of the main attractions. The person who picked us up was really friendly too! Kitchen facilities where great and the bed was really comfortable.
The pool... The pool size and location was nice but the amount of chlorine in it was absolutely crazy! Myself and my husband spent just over 30min in it and woke up with a bad cough the next day (it went away in that same morning). Unless they have changed this by now, don't go there for the pool. The other bad bit were the ladies doing the laundry in the morning. They seemed very friendly but the hall where they collect all towels and put them in bags is quite echoey and the plastic bags were quite loud... And they did this every day at 7:30 a.m.! We stayed in the ground floor and it was loud enough to wake us up every day (with doors and windows closed).
Excellent location and complimentary airport pick-up. God quality accommodation in a lovely building with great views over Valetta. Quiet area. Easy to get around the rest of the island and the city itself from here
Our taxi back to the airport was not arranged as requested. A warning that there are few grocery shops in Valetta and that they are all closed on a Sunday would have been helpful. Alternatively an offer to buy some basic groceries for you (at your cost obviously) and to have them in your apartment on your arrival would improve things further.
When we had some problem with our taxi firm for collection in the early hours the staff were very helpful so that we could sort it out.
The double bed was much too short for my 6'3" husband who consequently did not have a good night's sleep
Brand new amenities; Small but functional - we didn't stay much indoors; A few minutes walk from central Valletta - shopping, museums, views of the Grand Harbour.
Parking might be a problem - but I found a parking space one street down on a Friday evening; Prepare to walk uphill to reach central Valletta
Location was very good Building was lovely Kitchen was well equipped
Bed was not very comfortable Suite 2 on the ground floor was said to have a balcony; it was not a balcony but an internal courtyard with the air con units of the flats above Smell of damp but there was a humidifier which worked well Cleaning was minimal, and the floor did not look as thought it had been washed Hanging space for clothes was minimal and was almost too high to reach
Location was excellent for sightseeing, building was beautiful. Staff were welcoming and helpful.
Although serviced sheets were only changed every 8 days.
Close to city centre.
Extremely rude manager. On arrival one room was filled with gas then shower leaked flooding bedroom floor. On both occasions instead of an apology the manager accused us of causing the fault! Poorly finished rooms and not suitable for disabled due to stairs and restricted space. Pool is like a large bath and glass screen does not appear safe.
location, kitchine equipment, wifi
uncomfortable bed, sometimes bad pressure in shower - 2 days no water !!!, noise from construction site in front of our window - suite 3,6 a nd 9. Pool is just something like basin - too much chlorin - on the picture it seems like swimming pool :))
Apartment is a bit cramped
Clean. Very functional.
Lack of space for two. Bed quality. Car access for unloading luggages.
