General impression when you come is excellent, it's stylish, with good location and have some sauna and pool which I did not knew about. Our friends were booked in the room which stuff clearly knows have a noise issue, after once sleepless night they were transfered without hesitation, which I assume was a move like "let's wait and see". Apart, 4 star is different in Malta and Spain where I leave. |

A very beautifully furnished hotel with the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced. The staff are great, really upbeat and jolly. It's location is quiet but within easy reach of restaurants and bus/ferry - about 10 mins walk round a corner & down one hill. After a long day of walking the return up the hill could take double :) About 5 mins down the hill the hotel is on gets you to a bus stop taking you into St Julians for more restaurants. 08:30 was a little early for maid service so used the 'do not disturb' sign liberally. |

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and always willing to help, the room was very spacious and it was excellent value for money. The indoor pool was a bit small. |

Quite & comfortable The hotel needs renovation, plus there is a bad smell in the room and you need to keep the window open. |

The staff were extremely friendly. The outdoor pool was lovely and not too busy. The indoor pool was lovely too and massage excellent. The food in the hotel dining room was really good. We were on honeymoon and said this to the hotel when we phoned after booking online. We were given a room with 2 singles pushed together to form a double - not quite what we had in mind for our honeymoon. They were very accomodating and changed us to another room, but the same was the case in that room. Everthing else about the hotel and the hospitality was so good we did not make a fuss about this. |

the staff were all very friendly and helpfull, rooms kept spotlessly clean, beds very comfy, facilities good. We found the lifts very annoying as only one was working, used the stairs mainly but found these tiring as we were on 7th floor, still it kept us fit. |

Staff were absoulutely fantastic, really helpful with where to go and how to get about.'Nice location, took only 20 minutes from the airport in a taxi, some excellent supermarkets close by and the usual British stores if u r homesick! Decent beach very close by. (fixed fare of 21 euros) Excellent size rooms, we had a nice balcony, all the residents we met, staying at the same time, seemed like 'good people' of a certain quailty. We cannot recall hearing any noise whatsoever from other residents, maybe the hotel was quite? Nothing really, very slight 'musky' smell from the corridors, one of the lifts was not working, so this slowed things down a little, however, being on the 2nd floor, we used the stairs! |

The staff were extremely pleasant. Lobby and bar are welcoming and comfortable. Quaint 'in hotel' souvenir shop with charming owner. Excellent rooftop pools. Air conditioning (AC) was poor throughout, especially in the bedrooms (none of party were happy with the AC). Bedroom AC only works when a sensor detects body movement (similar to domestic alarm system) - bedrooms were very uncomfortable when returning from an outing. When in the bedroom; regular movement, every 15 minutes, is required to keep the AC switched on. Problem with AC was reported to reception who attempted to resolve the issue but to no avail. Bed is huge, we had a Junior Suite, but the bedding is too small - every night we would find the bedding had 'ridden up' into a large fold and we were sleeping directly on the mattress. Again this issue was reported but to no avail. Do not be fooled by the "two balconies" in a Junior Suite - both are very narrow with one positioned to the side of the seating area, thus placing you in direct view of the adjoining room. |

Excellent staff. Comfortable room with plenty of space. Only negative was a slow lift but that encouraged healthy use of the stairs |
