Staff were absoulutely fantastic, really helpful with where to go and how to get about.'Nice location, took only 20 minutes from the airport in a taxi, some excellent supermarkets close by and the usual British stores if u r homesick! Decent beach very close by. (fixed fare of 21 euros) Excellent size rooms, we had a nice balcony, all the residents we met, staying at the same time, seemed like 'good people' of a certain quailty. We cannot recall hearing any noise whatsoever from other residents, maybe the hotel was quite? Nothing really, very slight 'musky' smell from the corridors, one of the lifts was not working, so this slowed things down a little, however, being on the 2nd floor, we used the stairs! |

The staff were extremely pleasant. Lobby and bar are welcoming and comfortable. Quaint 'in hotel' souvenir shop with charming owner. Excellent rooftop pools. Air conditioning (AC) was poor throughout, especially in the bedrooms (none of party were happy with the AC). Bedroom AC only works when a sensor detects body movement (similar to domestic alarm system) - bedrooms were very uncomfortable when returning from an outing. When in the bedroom; regular movement, every 15 minutes, is required to keep the AC switched on. Problem with AC was reported to reception who attempted to resolve the issue but to no avail. Bed is huge, we had a Junior Suite, but the bedding is too small - every night we would find the bedding had 'ridden up' into a large fold and we were sleeping directly on the mattress. Again this issue was reported but to no avail. Do not be fooled by the "two balconies" in a Junior Suite - both are very narrow with one positioned to the side of the seating area, thus placing you in direct view of the adjoining room. |

Excellent staff. Comfortable room with plenty of space. Only negative was a slow lift but that encouraged healthy use of the stairs |

the parking facilities are ok; the staff very professional; the location is not bad but a little far from the sea views, ( 10 minutes walking to get to sea views) but anyway we haven't go to malta to go beach or the like. the junio suite was great an a good price. I'd go back to that hotel in case. get yourself a good gps navigator if you go by yourself in a car; everything in driving thru malta (and Shliema, etc) is kinda labyrinthic, and the adresses signals. uf....! |

The Staff were exceptionally nice. The hotel is not in an especially convenient location. It is rather residential where the hotel is, albeit close to the promenade (which itself is mostly residential in this area of Sliema) & bus stop. The hotel, despite having an exceptionally nice staff, is a bit dated and has moved past its prime in our judgement. |

The hotel had a sauna and a realxing pool side space. The staff were friendly and approachable. The room was cleaned one evening which was lovely beause we had accidentaly left the 'please do not disturb' sign on the door during the day rather than the 'please clean my room' sign. The hotel was partnered with the Palace hotel; we enjoyed going to Temptasian and having tea in luxurious surroundings We booked the hotel for the jacuzzi (whirlpool), the steam room and the sauna. Only the sauna worked so we were not very impressed that we had paid so much for facilities that we could not use |

The lobby and the location of the hotel are great. The room we had was very small, the beds were uncomfortable and the room was very "run down" overall. Worst of all, the noise level coming from the adjacent rooms was incredible. It felt as if we were all sleeping in one big room. I would definitely only recommend this hotel to travellers who do not mind a "youth hostel" comfort level, and who are sound sleepers!! |

Sehr freundliches Personal Der 2.
