Set in St Julian's, Boho Hostel features a garden with hammocks and sun loungers and a shared kitchen where guests can cook. It offers free Wi-Fi, a TV lounge with DVD player and dormitory rooms. Boho Hostel features both mixed gender and separate male and female dormitories. Each one has 3 sets of bunk beds for a maximum of 6 guests. They feature a fan and a shared bathroom with shower. Penny the owner was a doll, the food was exellent, the rooms were clean and comfy and an atmosphere of friendly fun hummed around the hostel all day!

Home and friendly environment. Opportunity of meeting new faces from all over the world each day and making friends thanks to tasteful barbecues organised frequently and other activities Penny suggests us. Freedom and respect. And Penny's wonderful breakfasts as banana & nutella crepes or Maltese bread with ham and tomatoes; always served with juice and coffee/tea/milk: delicious!!! Sometimes you've to wait to enter the bathroom, but it's normal, it's not a hotel... and the same with the lack of wardrobes to put your clothes in.

It's quiet, organized, informal, and the guests are imersed in a very friendly and respectful climate. Bathroom well equiped and clean. I was blown away by Boho! It's so inspirational, as is the owner Penny who does a fantastic job running it. It really made me rethink my job and open a hostel myself! She makes it seem to effortless. The hostel is in an area just a short walk away from Balluta Bay- there is one closer hostel to the clubs right in Paceville, so if you're after dancing the night away, I suggest you stay somewhere more central. If you want chill-out time, and more interesting travellers to meet, stay at Boho. The breakfast too is excellent and unusual to find in hostels- egg & bacon based, among other things. I loved it here, amazing. nothing.

From the first moment I was feel like I am a guest of a friend, not in a hostel. The entire place is permeated by the host's (Penny) personality. Open minded, flexible, frendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb! Although the urban environment there was cosy village feeling. The center is just 10 minutes walking.

The host - Penny - is awesome! Great recommendations for nice restaurants and places to go in Malta. As a solo traveller, you can make friends really easy at Boho. :) The atmosphere there is great :) Nothing, everything was great!

penny is really helpful and the hostel is in a good location. Little bit hard to find in the first time but no problems at all when u farmilar with there. Short distence to the bay. Also penny makes delicious breakfast. Best hostel I ever stayed.

I was there for a week and I really liked the relaxed atmosphere, met some really nice people there too. The beds are comfortable, there is a kitchen to cook in and a nice living room and garden to hang out together. Penny, the hostess, is welcoming and makes a tasty breakfast :) Will definitely go back there next time I'm in Malta. It can be a bit tricky to find the first time, so I would recommend the transfer service or a GPS navigator if you're on foot. The bus stop Romero in San Giljan is close and a good place to fire up the GPS. Once you get there it's easy to remember the way.

The best hostel I have ever stayed at. It's in a quiet location which is close to the center, about 10 minutes on foot. It's kept clean, staff are wonderful and helpful, and Wifi works all over the property and is free. The highlight was the breakfast though- proper substantial food, not your regular jam on dry toast. Would highly recommend it!
