This luxurious 5-star Hilton resort has a beachfront location 2.5 miles from Flic en Flac. It offers on-site diving tuition, a choice of 4 restaurants and a lagoon-style swimming pool. The guest rooms at Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa are extremely spacious, and each has a luxury marble bathroom and a large terrace with views of the grounds or the Indian Ocean. The Hilton Mauritius restaurant options include beachside dining, freshly caught seafood and Thai specialties. The Vista Bar serves local rum and enjoys sunset views. Spa facilities at Hilton Mauritius include massage therapies and relaxing saunas. Recreational facilities include tennis courts, a water sports center and a golf putting green. The highlight of the resort is its long stretch of white-sand beach where you can swim or learn water sports. The Torch ceremony in the evenings - very impressive. No possibility to swim in the sea.

The hotel is very comfortable, located at the white sandy beach looking at the colorful sunset, with a wonderful garden. Having the building with only one floor and with separated blocks the rooms are quiet. We went there to relax therefore was important to have not too many little children crying around or at least to have enough space to keep us far from them. Flic & Flac has a fortunate location on the west coast therefore we had a lot of sun and only for few days some rain. Two days we participated in a guided tour organised very well by the agency located in the hotel. Good pullman, beautiful places, rich programme, excellent guide.The staff at the reception, concierge and at the customer desk were very polite and always available. The quality of the food in the Thai restaurant and in the Coucchillage were excellent. In general about the island: We have already been at several similar places and among them Mauritius is one of the most expensive one. It was worth to go there but just once. Specifically about the hotel: it is far from everything (by walk minimum half an hour to get somewhere-we've really done it) therefore to go out you had to take a taxi or you were a little bit blocked in the hotel and in the hotel-restaurant where you paid a very high price. The wines were really average. But the worst of all is the lack of a good coffee, we did not find one place in the island where you could get a good italian coffee.

It was an excellent expiriance. The hotel is very comfortable. The staff is excellent and helpfull. Rooms and facilities are excellent. Service and Quality are excellent.

The staff at the Hilton are excellent. They are happy and smiling and provide a great service. The service you recieve from the staff will make you want to go back to the hotel. The hotel evening entertainment is also really good with live music every night. They play a variety of new and old songs ..... as well as jazz...very enjoyable! It does not have the best beach. The beach is rocky with sea weeds. Not the best for swiming.

The best was the food at the buffet restaurant every evening new themes as, seafood, indian, coconut-creole, every night. The beach is terrible, coral bottom. Most of the area is dedicated for boats and watersport. Only about 5 meters out from the shore was for swimmers. And there the depth reached about 70-80 cm max. Dirty water with plastic bags and debree from boats and waste.

Absolut nichts, sehr negative Erfahrung, wir können nur von einem Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel abraten. Nur 3 Restaurants, davon 1 geschlossen, 1 auf Reservierung (angeblich ausgebucht, doch 1/3 der Plätze frei), 1 Buffet-Restaurant (ärmliche Speisenauswahl, extrem schlechte Speisenqualität, unfreundliches Personal, ungemütliche Atmosphäre, Kantinencharakter, Lärmbelästigung durch abendliche Arbeiten am Strand Arrogantes Personal, aufgesetzte "Freundlichkeit", fehlende Service-Orientierung Ärmliches Abendprogramm (wenn man dies so nennen kann) Zimmer am äußersten Ende der Anlage, es sah aus wie der Lieferantenzugang Unansehnlicher Garten, kaum Liegen und Schirme am Strand Das Hotel hat keinerlei 5-Sterne Standard, mit Wohlwollen entspricht es einem 3-Sterne-Level

Disponibilité du personnel - la gouvernante a trouvé en un temps recors la solution à un problème de fermeture de pantalon de mon costume Le fait que la chambre ait une porte qui donne sur la chambre voisine. Cela a nui à la tranquillité de certaines de nos nuits, voisin qui parlent forts, un peu sourds, regardent la tv et nous l'entendons comme si nous étions dans leur chambre. A part ça, rien à dire.

Il resort è molto bello, il personale cordiale ed estremamente disponibile Gli intrattenimenti serali sono un po' noiosi, consigliato per brevi soggiorni. Se non compresi nella stanza, colazione e cene sono costosi.

Wyjątkowo uprzejma obsługa, wszyscy mili, zawsze pomocni i uśmiechnięci. Nieskazitelna czystość. Piękne położenie, plaża z mozliwością ciekawego snorklowania (najlepiej w czasie odpływu). Sprżet sportowy i wycieczki morskie w cenie. Trochę jednostajny bufet śniadaniowy - codziennie to samo

L'aménagement et la propreté des parties communes. Une lenteur de réponse du personnel affligeante. Comptez environ 45 mn pour un room service et 30 mn pour la réponse du house keeping. Internet payant (environ 30 €/h) ! Le prix des taxis recommandés par l'hôtel et environ 30 % plus chers que les taxis externes.

“My girlfriend and I spent three nights in Tamassa right at the beginning of June. We were lucky in that the weather was excellent. The hotel itself is quite new (it was completed in 2008) and it shows - everything is in superb condition. The rooms, even the cheapest ones, are very spacious and confortable, and the bathrooms are well designed and tasteful. There are four "infinity" pools to choose from, three of which are large. Unfortunately, the water is not heated, a bit cold, so hardly anyone goes in, though they're pretty to look at.The buffet in the "Show" restaurant is varied and tasty. Breakfast is fine. The fish dishes served in the "Playa" beach restaurant are great. The spa is small but relaxing and offers many different treatments at reasonable prices. We took part in some of the free activites offered by the hotel, including sailing lessons, waterskiing, cycling and aquagym.
