Score from 68 reviews Excellent
Location of my room in the resort was perfect, direct access to warm water pool
Cleanliness can be improved upon, it was a cyclone in the island BTW so maybe that could be the reason for negligence.
We got a free upgrade to presidential suite which was excellent. Clean and well managed. Beautiful views. Excellent wifi coverage Helpful staff
Location far off from everything Beach is rocky
The kindness of the team , the welcome and the location for business
Pool very average and not cleaned . Was not attractive! Pity The beach is not great
Location is beautiful, staff are very nice, however they kept on making mistakes and delays because they forget things, I thought it was only when,I checked In but but no almost every interaction was a primes then they don't deliver and I ask or call again and followed by an apology then they forget, very frustrating, I.e. The dinner took me 30 min and they made me wait an extra 15 min for signing the bill for the room everyone running around without it even, being busy. Room service same story 3 phone calls and no one shows up and each apologies and no one shows up. For the checkin problems and delays they did offer me a fruit platter. Apart from this and very average food quality. it was ok.
The amount of errors incured during the entire stay
We like the ambience and Breakfast.
We didnt like the room service food.
The beach The comfort The service
Lack of hygiene. Humidity in walls. Grime in the jacuzzi jets. Blood stains on duvets. The list goes on. A disastrous honeymoon. Truly undeserving of 5 star rating.
Staff Hotel infrastructure
The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Quality of food was very good.
The room was damp and caused the bed linen and our clothes to feel damp. A dehumidifier or some sort of drying system should be incorporated in the rooms (assuming other rooms have the same problem)
Beautiful sunsets, great view from my room, enjoyed being on the first floor with direct access to the beach from my terrace
Staff were friendly and made you feel welcome, especially the manager. Location on the beach was good however a bit far away from nearest town.
This is not a 5 star hotel. Room smelt a bit musty and when informed reception they sent housekeeping to spray with air freshener. Little or no hot water in the bathroom. While the main restaurant has theme nights for food it was not 5 star quality. If returning to Mauritius would look for better value.
everything is good。at the same time，they upgrade room for us because our honeymoon , that is very thoughtful。
the equipments a little bit old
It's a lovely setting perfect for a quiet getaway. Room was spacious and very nicely arranged. It was clean and services were very good.
Many of the tourist attractions were quite distant from the hotel and it wasn't easy to arrange visits and tours through the hotel.
The cheerful staff.
i did like the poor state of the allocated room - doors not locking, aircon not working, entrance light blown out. It took 2 days to have issues effectively attended to.
the service is very poor, not too much care about the guests.
Extraordinary customer service
Had to take taxi for one hour o go to the beautiul places, but they were cheap
evening music program on the beach
very dirty and bad service - to get a beer at the dinner takes so long that it was always only served at the dessert pool was small and dirty, no service at the pool beach not really nice too expensive for what it is breakfast with old bread
Great staff from front office to housekeeping , restaurants staff were very friendly Special thanks to front office management for solving some room heck up at check in
Rooms are getting old Entertainment could be better
Sea facing rooms, pool with a great view, value for money, facilities offered like beach towels, volleyballs, motorbike on call and so on.
Did not pick up our bags on time during checkout, in rare cases staff was not cooperative, never managed a booking at Veda or Nobel restaurant of the hotel.
The rooms were excellent and really value for money. The food from the Indian restaurant was delicious...
During the breakfast on day one, we experienced sparrow flying left and right in the restaurant which serves the breakfast near the pool, and the only reason for this was the food left in the plates by guest was not picked up by the staff...when we pointed it out to one of the staff the reason given to us was that "this is nature"...if we could observe this in one day I don't understand why the staff could not see that their guest are uncomfortable.. The next day we sat on Table 76 for breakfast (This is in the SENSO restaurant), there were small ants on the table which was purely because of things not been cleaned properly...little bit of bread pieces where all over the table... Before checking out we were having lunch at the bar next to the pool, we requested the waiter for chilli flakes and he disappeared, then we requested again and the second guy was not to be seen and finally after requesting the 3rd time we were provided the same by then we were done with 50% of our lunch.... There is lot of tourist and business for the hotel in Mauritius but if Intercon is seriously interested in having repeat business then they really need to do the basic things right...atleast for now I am not going to go back to this hotel and I only recommend this hotel for the spacious room (for the price), nice beach and pool..
