The hotel is located in a nice bay and actually in a nice but very remote area. The hotel is in a rather shabby state and a lot does not work. I had to change rooms in the middle of the night because the aircon was not working. Warm water was partly not working. The safe in the room could not be used and the balcony door could not be locked. The entire place is not really clean and the furniture is quite shabby. Every day I had to wait for beach towels at least 30 minutes. Buffet (breakfast and dinner) is very basic and uninspired. All in all a hotel for tourists who want a cheap package deal just for the sake of being in Mauritius. I am rather frequently in Mauritius and this was by far the most disappointing experience. I discussed the situation with the hotel manager and he has the charme of a used car seller. He did not excuse for the shortcomings but just said that he knows about them and that I should not forget that this is not the Maritim (which is the hotel next to it) and this I will not forget in particular as the Maritim is not much more expensive but in a different league of hotels... Never again!

It is a beautiful resort. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and very modern. 1. No Wifi access in the rooms - I was travelling on business and it made it very difficult for me to use my laptop. 2. No SA plugs available for patrons to take to their rooms to utilise. 3. Breakfasy was really bad. No warm foods that we can say was breakfast - no sausages, scrambled eggs, bacon, nothing - just some strange vegetarian foods. 4. Room did not have any milk for the tea / coffee - neither did it have sugar.
