There was no wifi in the rooms...
Attentive staff and director
The food in the buffet restaurant was not very tasty; though the side restaurant was very good Some cockroaches in the room
Beautiful location on the beach
The Indian buffet in the restaurant was very disappointing
Food and drinks very expensive.
Nice beach and hotel area, delicious food! Good water sport facilities! Very near by the village Grand Bay
Great location, shops, restaurants, street food in walking distance Great view on the bay, nice beach and pools, gardens Helpful staff Excursions and entertainment included
Overpriced buffet and bar Apartments are "far" from the bay
Location to Grand Bay good
Buffet overpriced and Quality of food mediocre
Friendly staff. Nice food. Near town.
The room is a bit small, but comfortable.
Excellent location Beautiful pool Good breakfast
Drinks at the bar were extremely expensive Rooms required some maintenance
The staff from of breakfast. That's all.
The staff, the hotel it's to much expensive for the poor proposals
Amenities including pool, beach, and health club were very nice Best aspect was its walking distance to Grand Bay for inexpensive and tasty restaurants, shops and tours. Breakfast included a nice spread, good variety and was free. Drinks at the pool were reasonably priced for a resort. Grand Bay is good base to explore from.
Rooms are a bit bland and somewhat outdated. No Wi-Fi in the rooms, was provided in the lobby.
The relaxed atmosphere, the environment, the location (right next to the beach, within walking distances to restaurants, shopping centre and market), the responsiveness of reception staff, friendliness of staff, the Sega dance performance. The laundry came back very well-packed. It's good for both families and solo travellers.
Wi-Fi is only available in the public areas. There were a few mosquitos the first night when I arrived. There was noise from the bar nightly even at 10pm and it could be heard inside my room. The staff who cooked the omelette at the restaurant was often not ready at the start time of breakfast and there was some wait. Not much smile on the faces of waiters. Some waiters were chatting among themselves whilst customers were right next to them. There were a couple of occasions at breakfast where the waiters did not proactively offer me tea/coffee until I asked for it, other times were fine. The foods at breakfast appeared the same every day, although there were a good range of foods.
Pleasant stay with every need taken care of Excellent location
Very basic rooms, can do with refurbishment
The staff is very professional towards that which the are assigned to do. The activities that the hotel provided was excellent because there was not a dull moment while staying at the hotel
excellent location, great facilities and watersports, wonderful atmosphere.
family rooms were akin to jails, closed from all sides, I had to change to a normal room to have some open ness. Food at the Quay- lots of stuff, but less taste. need to focus on quality and some local and Asian food (Chinese, Indian) would be helpful. Did not see a great amount of help from the incharge to get some benefit in lieu of moving from a superior (family room) to a normal room (due to family room constraint stated above), instead, was asked to sign that I will have no demand of refund. That was terrible, did I have a choice, but to sign?
The localisation; very close to the restaurants, shops...
Very bad breakfast, poor buffet; not to much choices. It´s the same for the lunch and for the dinner: the buffet is poor. The staff is OK
No toothpaste in bedrooms..no disposable room slippers.
No complimentary water bottles No complimentary airport shuttle
Very warm, helpful and friendly staff. Exceptionally good service. During my stay I was down fever and the hotel staff ensured that I was given additional attention and service. Also the hotel helps in providing under sea walk (Paid), Snorkeling (Complimentary) and Scuba Diving (Paid) .
Nice beach, big pools, perfect kids pool, plenty of sunbeds, large breakdance with loveau french pastries, fructe etc
Staff not welcoming, hardly got any smiles. Poor english skills. Old room furnishings, some cockroaches here and there. Tainted couch and chair covers.
Reception staff were friendly and accommodating.
The ants in the room. The milk jug with the milk from the beginning of our stay was never removed the entire week we were there and the milk curdled.
Location and staff were great. The set up and layout of the hotel works well. It could/should be a great four star.
The rooms are quite tired and need a general refresh to bring them back upto scratch. The sun bed cushions are very old. It can be noisy at night depending on which room you're in due to the live music each night. This added to the luke warm showers meant that all in all the hotel let itself down. (Apparently the water is heated by solar so let the staff know if it's cold and they can turn on a boiler). The hotel also had very slow wifi although it was free in the lobby.
The food and the location
The fact that there are no twin rooms in the entire hotel and that to use the computers available it cost a ridiculous amount of money. Also the car hire prices were ridiculous
no internet in room, the internet they did have was very slow
