the terms on your website were different what the hotel mentioned. The hotel considered my son as a child and your website cosider about 12 years as adult...so am not sure if you charged him as adult or child.
Quite peaceful, the family rooms were quite big, close to the beach good for families...

Barring a few the staff were super inefficient.. There was a day that noone answered the room service or reception numbers. First time in my life its ever happened! Needed ice and noone could help and would ask us to call another extension.. Reception there was a girl called Nadia who looked angry all the time.. Considering there is nothing around and food in the hotel was expensive and not great at all. My husband hardly had anything to choose from as he was vegetarian.. We had to figure out going to Grand Baie and getting food every day..
The beautiful resort.. Rooms were spacious, clean and had a view to die for.. Some of the staff were very helpful and wArm.. Gobin, Artee, Sylvester, the house keeping girls.The breakfast spread was good..

we were extremely frustrated about the receptionist's inexperience and slow speed on our checkout day. we spent more than 30 minutes at reception for check out and almost missed our flight because of this delay. What's more disappointing is they used an extremely bad exchange rate to charge us in USD when we already have the USD amount while booking (and they have our booking confirmation as well). In order not to miss the flight we have to give up arguing with them and leave with full disappointment. Will not come to this hotel again and for sure will try to ask our friends not to do so either.

We truly disliked very little ! We're widely travelled and know you get what you pay for .. here we got much more than expected !
Pleasantly surprised as some reviews were scary ! The place does need an uplift - planned soon - but it's very clean, comfortable, helpful staff, great beach amenities, reasonable choice of restaurants on half-board .... at a fraction of the cost in other places. Very enjoyable stay, thank you !

Flies Waiters - need to be more professional and check condition of dishes. The poor lights at night in the garden area. The garden and beach area should be more lit up.
Loved the beach and the room maid (Brinda). Very friendly room service guy - Manish. Brenda and Manish are both assets to the hotel. They have excellent customer service ethics and are very friendly. Shrada and Khan the Chef from Cumin are also very friendly and are very professional. The boat house staff are friendly. Waiters need to be trained more to be professional, friendly and smile. The waiters at all restaurants should go for training on how to treat guests and how to check each table in terms of dirty cutlery and crockery. The overall stay at the hotel was incredible. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to go to Mauritius. Special thanks to Manish, Brinda, Shrada, Khan and Avish.

Lack of information about what is going on in the hotel Nirvana section very nice but last of sun umbrella not enough for every body ! people who did not belong to the nirvana section were going there also price of the glass of wine too high ! (+/-11 euros the glass) price of the cocktail also quiet high for mauritus
The location is very nice the beaches are quiet nice the hotel is well located the staff is nice the services are correct 3 restaurants to choose from one indian one seafood one Mediterranean Snorkeling with the hotel was good

Old bed with poor sleep comfort. Noise on the beach from water preparation on the site of the nirvana area. Old hotel furniture and look and feel. Needs reconstruction. Poor service even on the beach bar in the nirvana area. Sound effect every 30min. during the nights. Food and beverages completly over prized compared to other hotels. For example 10USD for a beer. Fruits on the breakfast not tasty.

Lot of arrogant birds everywhere, even inside restaurant. Lot of lizards on outside walls at night time; but not inside the room. Buffet food could be better. Very expensive if you don’t have all inclusive. Long distances to walk from your room..

Everything about this resort is tired. It needs a major renovation. Staff attitudes were mixed, some were quite pleasant others matter of fact. The seafront has lots of rocks and the water wasn't particularly clean at the time of our stay.
The room was a good size and the bed comfortable enough. The resort is on the water and there are plenty of beach chairs.

lack of staff in the morning; waiting to be served- took at least 20 minutes before being served in one restaurant. could do with self service tea and coffee instead of waiting to be served by staff- which took sometime- tea was bit weak-

Very secluded area as one has to pass via eight km of farmland if you return after sunset, we drove from second day to return by six pm as there is no street lights and is considered secluded. Mauritius is generally low crime, but felt scared. If you are driving, start early and return by six. Great hotel in all other aspect.

Most of guys are really good. * great choice of food and speciality breakfast 120 items including great vegetarian option. * spacious rooms with great view and complimentary child bed. * complimentary water sports we enjoyed a great including glass boat , scuba, snorkeling , peddle boat and surfing all free. * free parking * free wifi for 4 hours a day * gave us wine bottle for small issue * excellent KIDS club full of activity my daughter enjoyed. * Amazing beach, very clean and peaceful with beach activity. * late checkout and excellent concierge service for baggage * pool and pool bar is great and live music in evenings * large flat screen 42 inch TV with good many channels. * expensive but great spa. * in room dining was good if not great. Potion was mid size.

Check-in took too long & then was taken to room 251 which was on the upper floor, not the 'ground floor with garden' I had booked. After a long wait whilst a ground floor room was prepared we were taken to room 125 on the ground floor, albeit without a garden. The website description would indicate a private garden, not the public garden of the hotel. Bathroom - the toilet seat was cracked & nipped my skin. This was immediately replaced. The basin & shower did not drain quickly & we soon had bad drain smells. Maintenance came & attended but left the shower with dirty grit. Housekeeping were called & with a towel gathered up some of the grit but did not leave it in a clean state! I had to wash the area down before use. In general the tile joints were stained with mould growth, something that good housekeeping should keep on top of. Broken lamp - this had clearly been broken for some time & a good housekeeper would be expected to report this to maintenance. The live wire had disconnected & was touching the metal part of the lamp body! Repair carried out but later i found that the wiring to the switch was loose causing the light to flicker. Lamp was then replaced, albeit with a poor cable grip! Laundry Service - having checked the itemised costings it would have been far cheaper to have bought a brand new set of clothes than have the hotel launder them. Private terrace - it took 2 calls to Reception before chairs were replaced after another guest had presumably 'borrowed' them. Internet - we found it unusual to be charged for use (over 2 hours) in a four star hotel. In this day & age the internet is as essential as electricity & running water! Tea/coffee making provision - there was plenty of space in the large room to have had a small shelf or table for this & not have it hidden away at the bottom of a sideboard where there was no electricity. Checking-out; called twice for buggy to take luggage.
The bed was comfortable; breakfast choice good (but accompanying music inappropriate & too loud); beach & sea beautiful; staff all very friendly, although the Manager was not being truthful about the room included in my booking when approached.

Food is the worst part, I feel you can get better food in some state prison or a refugee camp. Specially the Indian food and vegetarian options. Also plenty of stray cats and dogs in Resort who are moving everywhere freely. And many stinging yellow bees everywhere.
Location is good. Bar tender mr. Raja at pool side Nirvana room is fantastic guy and does fis best to keep Guests well looked after.

No porters on arrival. Upto an hour waiting time to get a room. Kids acitivy co ordinator was a little rude. In room cleaning was not amazing-beds are made but not fluffed. Floors are wiped but not everywhere. Room is half dusted. Balcony was not cleaned our entire stay
