The location and the restaurant staff
I did not like the cockroach in the bathroom. The bathroom looked like it never had a scrub in years. The beds were creaky, mattresses old and stained, the towels were discolored, toilet door was creaky, the fridge makes a huge loud sudden noise which disturbs the sleep. Some of the tv channels dazzle, single bed sheets were old and discolored. This is a beautiful place, it just needs some fixing
seafront location,small and cosy,friendly staff
no roomservice,no tea/coffee kettle in room, under staffed facilities, overpriced buffet dinner for average food.no safe in room,no arrangements for sight seeing offered, captive taxis outside that rip you off, rooms could do with some repair,a/c was barely adequate
We loved the welcome, the setting, the feeling of peace and the elegance of not being stark and overly modern. It was in a good position to explore many nearby locations of interest. We had to leave early for a connecting flight and staff arranged tea and sandwiches for us to have at 5 in the morning. How thoughtful.
The setting, environment and scenery was wonderful Liked the Saturday night braai and event
The food needs to have a more international flavour to it
The affordability of the accomodations. THe free Wifi service. Cleanliness of the rooms.
1) The stray dogs around the restaurants and pool. Especially with kids who are used to having dogs at home. They tend to want to play with the dogs who are not neccessarily "child friendly" . 2) The menu does not reflect the diversity of the Mauritian dishes. ( Indian, Chinese, Creole) 3) I find the buffet to be very expensive at MUR 800 for the dishes offered. 4) THere should be a special breakfast offered occaisionally... ( Sundays maybe)
Varity for breakfast could be better like bacon.
The rooms are so specious
The breakfast was not good, no variety
Affordable, pleasant staff.
The beach is full of coral, not usual sand.
The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere at the Hotel nice and releaxed. We had a very nice stay!
the barbecue the solitude for rest
too many chlore in the pool water
Staff was excellent, as well as service you are giving
The beach was probably the worst on the whole island
