The Hotel is ridiculously overpriced and is designed more as an all-inclusive hotel. we booked a room for 120€ per night (2persons) with no meals. right when we arrived, the personal offered us an upgrade to all-inclusive for 55€/day/person. there are only a few restaurants far from the hotel, so either you take the all-inclusive or you always have to take a taxi to the next (much cheaper) restaurant. In the end, we payed 70€ for Taxi, food, drinks and everything outside of the hotel, instead of 220€ all-inclusive in the hotel (for 2 nights), and the food was very good (at pointe d flaq -> e.g. symons restaurant).
When we arrived, the floor was not cleaned and very dirty. The shower leaked water, so there was always water in the bathroom.
apart from the Hotel and the beach, there is nothing to do in that area of Mauritius.
If you want to do some acitivies on the Island instead of only liying on the beach and stay in your hotel, dont take this hotel!
a nice little beach with very soft and clean sand, some free water activities (glass boat, snorkeling, pedalboat)
