Clove Beach, hotel in Gan

This guest house features free private parking, free shuttle service, and free Wifi. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, a shared kitchen, and currency exchange for guests.

- The woman running the restaurant across the street was very kind. She handles guest house bills. - The air conditioning worked. Beyond that, the Clove Beach is not what is advertised on booking.com. None of the amenities are in existence. It is on main road, not beach. With no shops or other places to spend time. It is what it is - a low price bed.

We only stayed one night, since we were going on liveaboard dive boat. Seemed like a nice island to stay on for a couple of days. Not sure there is enough to do to spend a week there, but I am sure you could use it as a base and take day trips to other locations. The people were very friendly and welcoming.

Planned layover en route to vilingili resort.

Planned layover en route to vilingili resort. Gan is set to grow and is great for budget accommodation seekers. It's developing so don't expect pristine urban area. Beach and stuff are great and in three to eight years it will be booming. My prediction. Rough around the edges now but safe and worth the trip.
