Centara Grand Island Resort & Spa Maldives  

Everything. Except for the Thai resturant menu options. They were set and menus didnt include the dishes we wanted, Unlike the Italian resturant. There was a set menu that you could choose from every night. And all were delicious.

Just awesome, the staff couldn't help enough. The dice team were great.

The buffet food had great selection and quality was good. The massages were amazing and very well priced compared to another resort in the area. Views from rooms were great. Staff was all friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible.

Other restaurants had funny method for payment. 40$ discount per person per meal (which sounds great), but everything is priced very high so after your $80US off per couple we still ended up paying 50$US one night and over 100$ US another night. Wine if not the all inclusive offered house brand is VERY expensive. The small sail boats and wind surfing equipment is advertized as free but in order to take it out you have to pass a compitency test and if failed you have to pay 35-40$ US for a lesson first before the equipment becomes "free". I am by no means racist, but 95% of the guests were asian. Coming from Canada which is a very large multicultural country I have no problem with asians but they were very rude. Cutting in front of you in line at the buffet, and speaking in their own languages, very obviously talking about other people and laughing right in front of them. While we enjoyed our week, it was very hard not to get frustrated quite often with the lack of respect shown to other guests and resort staff.

The staff was really friendly, at every level, and quite helpful. We had some health issue and they took us see a doctor on another island at our convenience, at no extra cost. The food was diversified and good quality. The villas are really nice and swimming in the lagoon is a delight. It's quiet and peaceful and romantic. The diving spots were nice. If you want night entertainment it is not the place but for a romantic dinner it definitely is.

We took the all inclusive package + island club, which is the most expensive you can get and gives you access to the "Island club". However some drinks were available at the Island club but if I wanted the same drink in another bar on the island I had to pay for it. That was quite annoying and unnecessary.

环境和设施都不错，三个餐厅的饮食都很棒，尤其是意大利餐厅；服务员非常友善，也非常贴心。小朋友中间手指- 出现了意外，得到了非常好的医疗和照顾。浮潜的环境很好啊，尤其是家庭水屋下面的珊瑚和鱼群，真是漂亮。

深潜的环境不错，但就是时间太短，不足介绍上锁描述的1个小时，估计只有40分钟左右，很不过瘾。

酒店环境非常好，浮潜水质也好，孩子非常喜欢。水上屋房间很大很舒适，下水很方便。

空调嘈音太大，晚上开着很难入睡。

景色一流，服务不错

Prijs voor een air taxi is te hoog (400+ $), terwijl het maar 30+$ is.

人少，干净

수중환경은 산호가 많고 작은 물고기, 가오리등이 많아 보기 좋았습니다.

음식이 대체적으로 짠편이었고 오전중에 바닷가에 이물질등이 끼어 스노쿨링, 수영하기에 부적합했습니다.

Staff are quite friendly and helpful.

This was our 3rd holiday in Maldives and unfortunately, it was the worst experience. In my opinion Centara is a stretched 4-star quality holiday resort at 5 star luxury prices. In any other location outside Madlives, one would pay only 1/3 of the price for such quality. It was surprising to find out that the Hotel is only 3 years old, as it looks old and run-down. We were not happy with the comfort of our room, quality of the bed, quality of the food or any of the entertainment if you can call it that. Never again!

The attitude of the staff serving at the Italian Restaurant. They are blunt and unfriendly.
