Coral Hotel and Spa

Coral Hotel and Spa is charming and comfortable hotel. It located near main city street with lot of shops and restaurants. Hotel's staff is very attentive and tries to help even in the smallest issues. Room were we lived was not big, but quite handy. So, I want to say many thanks for our glorious holiday in Maldives.

I haven't negative experience in this placement. There was only one frustration in this trip. We saw lot of fishes, turtles, sharks, corals etc. while we dove around Male's dive-sites, but we didn't see mantas. However, there is serious reason to come back. =:-)

I would say we were treated very well from staff. I booked 2 seperated room because there we not 1 room for 4, but when I asked them if I could have a room with 1 extra bed so the family could stay together they offered us free of charges the second room!!. Anyway, location is ok but you ll need a taxi to get to the ferry for airport ( 2$), the rooms are spacious and very clean, breakfast not good, but we were very happy staying there.

Breakfast

1St room was very spacious corner unit on 4th floor. Unfortunately the street noise was quite loud. 2Nd room was less than 1/2 size of first but was much quieter and renovated.

1St room had hot water heater problems. There wasn't any hot water and the unit was leaking all over the counter below it. It took me 3 hrs on the phone with reception to finally get someone to look at it. Then I was told there were no other rooms available. I insisted on a change as I traveled non stop for 26 hrs and wanted a shower. I was eventually given a different room.

فندق يستحق ٣ نجوم، الموظفين متعاونين جدا جدا المساجد قريبة بعض الشيء جديد نسبيا ونظيف ممتاز لمن يبحث عن مكان فقط للنوم او الاستحمام وقضاء باقي الوقت خارج الفندق واستكشاف مدينة مالي They invited us to a special party and a free diner while we were there. For 3 star hotel, it's a very good place to stay and fit for those who are waiting for their flight because it's in Male, 15 min from the airport.

يعتبر غالي عند اضافه الضرائب الموقع مخيف ولا يصلح لمن يريد استكشاف المدينة بمفرده لانه داخل الحواري ومخشخش ولا ينفع لقليلي الخبرة في السفر The price for one night is too much because you must add 8$ per person per night + 8% tax + 10% service charge. The location is very very bad. No shopping places near it , neither good view form the windows.

The staff where very helpful and friendly and went out of there way to accomodate

The Hotel is Located about 8mins by taxi from the Airport Ferry Jetty. The area is off the main road down a narrow street with high rises on both sides (but then most roads in Male are narrow). From the Hotel its about 8-12mins walk to most sights in the island. The Hotel itself is a 9 story apartment block converted to a hotel. Each floor has 2 'apartments' each with its own lounge area. 1 of the apartments has 2 rooms (each with attached toilets) while the other has 3 rooms (each with attached toilets). These rooms are what you stay in (so a double room would be one of the rooms in one of the apartments - downside may be is that your neighbour uses the common lounge area and is noisy of messy). The rooms are clean, with fresh towels and rooms were turned over everyday. The room itself is spacious enough to stay in (without using the common lounge area). The Wi-Fi is good and is accessable throughout the hotel. They serve a decent breakfast with fresh coffee, juice (not fresh), cornflakes, eggs, bread & jam. The front office staff are very friend and helpful and make you feel welcome. Great Hotel to stay in, value for money. I was there on work (who on earth goes to the Maldives on work...) for 2 days and the hotel proved to be a good choice. I will stay there again for sure.

The tv did not function properly. However I did not mention it as I had no time for tv. It was the remote I think... The shower does not have a curtain, so the most of the toilets tends to get wet.

The ladies at the front desk were extremely nice .. And the room at the 6th floor r bright and big ..

They asked me to pay for half day only because I statyed two hours more! The breakfast was awful and the forks were dirty!

Hotel is newly renovated, having elevator and wide rooms as compare to other Male hotels. It is near to main shopping area of Male City. Good hotel to stay with family.

Spa facility is not allowed as per government rules in Male City but it is still part of the hotel name.

Staff was really amazing and very helpful. Thank you for all your help! Rooms were really clean. Restaurant on top floor is very nice - nice view, good food.

Breakfast could be better.

الخدمة في الفندق سيئة حيث الغرف لم تنظف 3 أيام والمناشف لم تغير. وعند خروجنا طلبت منا موظفة اﻹستقبال بأن ندفع عن بعض اﻷشياء ومنها الماء وبطاطس وتم إبلاغها بأن الماء ضيافة ثم وافقت أما البطاطس فلم نأكل فلماذا تحسب سعر. عموما الخدمة والنظافة سيئة

Сантехника в ужасном состоянии, в номере шланг от душа был порван, из под раковины текла вода!

这家酒店有个超好的老板！人超级的好！大致上的服务都一流！楼上的景色夜超棒！

唯一不满意的是，他家酒店员工给我们安排的一日游！85美金带我们到一个只需5.5rafiyaa船票的烂岛上，什么也没提供，什么也没做，一切活动自费！老大呀！给你85美金你舍都不包- 括，刀不如你告诉我，哪班船，我自己去就行了！

отель расположен в трущобах. далеко от парома в аэропорт и немногочисленных достопримечательностей мале. при заселении я оплатил стоимость номера в 65 кв м суперделюкс однако меня привели в стандарт 16 кв м. они надеялись что я промолчу, но я начал возмущаться и мне пообещали вернуть разницу в стоимости, мотивируя что забронированный номер занят. ( а существует ли он?). деньги вернули на сл день наличными. однако мне пришлось жить в крохотном номере с микроскопическим туалетом. отсутствует туалетная бумага. очень скудный завтрак. вид из окна на трущобы.

酒店的总经理人很好，九楼的餐厅可以看到市区的街景，楼顶的露台也是个好去处

和前台的雇员交流有点儿难度，马式英语和印度人挺象

очень доброжелательный персонал , отличный вид с площадки на крыше на весь город , открытое панорамное кафе на крыше с видом на город и побережье ,вкусная и разнообразная еда(рыба марлин с печёной картошечкой и т.д. - пальчики оближешь !), но лично для меня,не знающего языков, было главное-что есть наш алексей - объяснял что-где и как,оказывал любую помощь - спасибо! в отеле организуют поездки на различные острова на день по приемлемым ценам - видел на одном острове прайс тез-тур на порядок дороже. во время поездки и провожали и встречали от и до - очень хорошо относятся к гостям .что ещё - фото на сайте реально с разных уголков отеля , Wi-Fi работает. остались очень хорошие впечатления о поездке.

первые 2 дня с трудом находил дорогу(на мале нет названий улиц и номеров домов) но потом понял как лучше ходить - оказалось просто. на такси за 2 доллара ещё проще.

Хороший отель для кратковременного прибытия в столице..

酒店位置很不错，共有九层，其中九层是餐厅，早餐做的很好吃。我们这次入住的是7层和8层，视线很好。房间- 整洁，服务人员非常热情。可以提- 前预定Tax- I。

чистота на 2-ку, в душевой обнаружила дохлого таракана, ну и на следующий вечер, когда приехала забирать чемодан небыло света в отеле вообще. полный экстрим...

It wasn't far from where our daughter was living. The hotel staff were friendly.

Overpriced for facilities offered.

The staff was cooperative and all issues were sorted out immediately. The food was nice. Budget friendly and worth the stay.

Booking.com hadnt confirmed the hotel reservation with the staff and they had no idea we were coming until the day before arrival since I called and confirmed personally. The "Spa" is a bit of a misnomer The activities offered are a bit expensive.
