Staff: was so welcoming, professional and friendly, working their best to make your staying the most relaxed vacation ever Food: actually i gained about 3 pounds just for staying 4 days, once you finish your meal you begin the count down for the next meal. my recommendation is to go full board, the food was amazing you will never get bored Room Service: so fast you actually think there is no one on the island except you.
My entire experience was amazing. Super friendly staff everywhere I went. In fairness I can't single one person out. Everyone was friendly and passionate about service. I was looking for a perfect island escape. Herathera delivered on every count. I loved the Dolphin Spotting tour. Got amazing video. As for the rest of my stay, I will definitely recommend the resort to friends. I will be back.
I can't fault much, just found dust in some places. (I'm allergic to dust). Staff(especially in restaurants & bars) should wear name tags.
everything there was in an excellen shape ( the hotel is far away about one hour by plane ,from Male but not a problem since you will see the hotel staff waiting for you and direct you to the plane door that was really quiet great from the hotel and their staf , for sure you gonna like the place, quiet and the staff is very friendly. they have so many activities and worth of money ,enjoyable. you can rent a bicycle for nothing and enjoy your ride .the gym is excellent if you are looking for fitness.restaurant is great with nice tables open with natural air.great place and I am sure you will enjoy it. they have bands every night and recommend the friday night band which is local band and it's great you will definitely love it and dance with them.
water sports are too much expensive, buut it was not a problem since the hotel give you another opportunities such as diving,etc.. and it's worth of money.
I enjoyed every second in Herathera island resort , specially local people are very good , they treated us as brothers and sisters , people there like to live in peace and they have a very good mosque , i enjoyed water sports with Mohammad and stella , and the manager Maher and Mamdouh "monday" and Ali , they like to surprise us everyday , you have to try it and dont forget to try the gurumbaaa which is coconut its dillicious !! A verygood and relaxing view , and the best thing there is that everything is grean , so they are friends with nature
Watersports are little expensive , it will be amazing if you had private swimming pools in the villas , there are alot of insects , maldivian airport is very espensive !
I like the service
The lezzards in evry where
The gym was nice. Beaches were nice as they all are in Maldives. Diving was great.
Do not stay at this resort! These are the problems we had: 1. The airport greeter who was supposed to welcome us at the airport was not there. We had to go search for him. In the interim we were advised to get on a bus to get to the resort. 2. The resort did not respond to multiple email requests to ensure our rooms were together. They placed us on opposite ends of the resort. We had to pay to upgrade one room to include a jacuzzi which did not work. They initially refused to reverse the charges for this but with much arguing they did. 3. The phones do not work so you cannot call reception. The resort spans 5km. You'd have a long way to run if there was an emergency. We requested a cellphone to contact reception if needed, however, they did not get back to us. 4. The resort has few vehicles to transport you to the restaurant and other facilities on site. You cannot wave down vehicles ("buggies") as they drive by. They tell you to call but the phones do not work. 5. The hot water did not work and maintenance is remiss to fix any problems. 6. The island is primarily booked by large groups from Mainland China. We were pushed and shoved by these tourists throughout our stay. We watched as some would taste food in the buffet and then return the food to the stand. The staff are remiss to say anything. We were photographed and videotaped by these tourists and had to get upset for them to stop, on camera. 7. The waits are rediculous. Even simple tasks like clarifying a bill can take over an hour of wasted holiday time. 8. The staff are underpaid and stressed. There is a high turn over occurring approximately every 3 months. The staff do not know much about the resort. 9. The resort claims to be 4 star but it clearly is not.
+ peace + tranquility + staffs are helpful + well fed
- bicycles are out-of-shape - sea activities are costly - sports equipment (tennis, table tennis, etc) needs a renewal
