Sala Boutique Hotel    

Thomas - der Inhaber - hat gleich nach der Buchung Kontakt mit uns aufgenommen und den Transfer ab/an Flughafen für uns organisiert. Ich kenne schon einige Hotels in Male, aber der Service im Sala Boutique Hotel ist unübertrefflich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das inkludierte Frühstück ist gerade für deutsche Gäste ein Gaumenschmaus. Es bleibt kein Wunsch offen. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Da sich die Zimmer von der Strasse abgewandt befinden, gab es auch keine Störung durch Strassenlärm.

Vielen Dank für den fast freundschaftlichen Empfang. Als Ausgangspunkt für eine Stadterkundung liegt das Hotel sehr zentral. Thomas führt sein Haus professionell mit persönlichem Charme.

Wundervolles sehr liebevoll gestaltetes Boutique Hotel in Male. Der Eigentümer hat langjährige Erfahrung in Top Hotels und Ressorts gesamelt. Das merkt man an vielen Kleinigkeiten die dazu beitragen einen Aufenthalt im Sala Thai Hotel unveergesslich zu gestalten. Das Essen im angeschlossenen Restaurant ist exzellent!!!!! Grandios und unbedingt empfehlenswert die Massagen!!!Wir haben bereut, dass wir nicht bereits bei unserer Ankunft auf den Malediven eine Nacht im Sala Thai verbracht haben (mit Massage!!!) statt auf einen Inlandsflug zu warten.

Das deutsche Frühstück!!! Es war herrlich nach mehr als einer Woche Reis, frisches leckeres Brot, dazu gab's Jogurt, Käse und Würste zum Frühstück zu haben.

Das Zimmer hatte kein Fenster und war sehr hellhörig.

Great set up and location. Rooms are a good size, well furnished and fast wifi. Food is good too

Thomas and staff went out of their way to please us. The Thai food was outstanding. The Breakfast delicious. Best Coffee. The little Garden outside made a big difference, we loved the place.

The staff was great and friendly made sure that you had best stay. The bed is hugh and relaxing, and room is clean as well. The Thai Sala restaurant's recipes and varieties were delicious and perfect, my children really liked the Thai noodle that Thomas recommended. He also arranged the airport pickup and contacted the resort for the boat transfer, which made us feel the schedule really smooth and confortable, highly recommended.

The staff is superb, very helpful. The breakfast is the best I had during a seven week trip, with real bread, rather than the white sliced "Wonder Bread" that seems to be served everywhere else in the Maldives and Sri Lanka. The Thai Sala restaurant associated with the hotel is excellent, one of the best dining experiences in Male. A gourmet chef was training during my stay to allow for the re-opening of the Italian restaurant also on the premises. Thomas, the German owner of the hotel and restaurants, holds to a very high standard and is very accommodating of special requests/ needs. He also arranges airport or boat transfers, which is helpful. Most everything of interest in Male is walkable from the hotel but the hotel is like a small oasis of peace among the chaos of densely populated Male's chaotic streets.

The room was huge with a great ambience. Thai restaurant was amazing. Free WiFi. I believe if you are staying in Male and need comfort . This is the best option !

Fantastic Thai restaurant in hotel! And he also offers an extensive Swiss ice cream selection.

One of our group members had her reservation canceled because of a booking error.

The owner was an extremely friendly and helpful. He arranged our transfers from the airport to the hotel and then again for our transfer to our resort island at minimal extra cost.

The owner was very helpful. Nice interior and room standard. You can feel the boutique climate.

if you really have to be in Male then Sala is a good choice. Tiny rooms but wonderfull staff. Dinning in is recommended. Special Thanks to Thomas and Nino.

The hotel was a tranquil escape from a crazy little town. Thomas has many years of hospitality experience and it shows with his consistent attention to his guests. He went out of his way to assist us during our stay.

Location is very convenient, close from the airport, very nice property and the staff are extremely helpful, very personalized service... Will definitly come back and recomend it.

The staff there is very nice. The food there is wonderful.

Lovely , cozy ,romantic hotel , friendly and helpful staff and manager!! We stay at Male for transfer next day to the resort island and Sala Boutique did help a lot!! They helped us to contact with the resort hotel and settled everything for us. Thomas even got up in early morning to send us back to the airport personally. I left my jacket at the hotel and they did send it back to the airport on date of my departure, Free of charge!! Absolutely gonna choose Sala Boutique next time provided I go to Maldives!!

The bathroom is a little bit small but still it's OK for us. BTW, there is no free tooth-brash and tooth-paste provided by the hotel , fortunately we brought our own sets with us~~

The place is extremely dark including the lobby and restaurant. The color scheme is also dark and allows mosquito's to live safely there. The place needs more light the food is expensive for business travelers.

An absolute haven in a very busy, noisy little city. Male is only a stop over, not a place you spend your holiday and Sala Boutique Hotel is the perfect place to stay. A very well run small hotel with a lot of extra little touches that makes it special and a very warm welcome from Thomas and the lovely staff. The Thai restaurant was superb - best we have eaten worldwide.

There was nothing at all not to like. Although the room we had does not have a window, to be honest this gives you seclusion from the noise and bustle of the city which is not easy to find. Maybe some people would not like this, but the other rooms may have windows.

i loved our stay I loved the room the restaurant, the people that looked after us, the food was fantastic.

It would have been nice to have had spa room and been able to enjoy a glass of white wine. but these are just miner things
